I liked this version of the band, with Gregson and Collister.
The rhythm section isn't bad either.
I agree. Richard Thompson is such an unfairly underrated guitarist and singer-songwriter.
One of the best concerts I've ever been to. Funny to see the film footage so many years later....like 28 years later. (yep, this was before videotape became widely used and well before digital recordings).
Brilliant rendition by great lineup - plus another awesome bunch of Richard's best noodling.
