Took my 3 year old grandson to this event. We Flippin' love these trucks! Bob and a bunch of former and current drivers were walking around signing autographs. Everyone was very nice and welcoming! Thank you for everything you've done for the motorsports community!

Good to see more and more of the original trucks restored or new trucks built to the old ways for something different. Way more character than modern trucks. But something I've noticed while watching this: How strong the habitual in modern cars have become. They don't crush properly any more :P Seeing modern trucks in action I thought yeah, they're all tube frame and fiberglass bodies and special racing tires, they must be so much lighter than gen 1 trucks, so they don't have the slow speed crushing potential. Nope, just goes to show how much safer modern passenger vehicles are these days.

70's Ford trucks are so cool... Specially brown. Specially lifted. The Ford flag in the back shows he is a true fanatic and loyalist to the brand.

73-79 were the best body style ford had but i think the 80-86 body style is cool also

They have bigfoot 1. They need to use it like it was built for. There's hardly anything original on the truck anyway Incase something breaks

It's kind of funny that the crush cars are like 20 years younger than the actual monster trucks.

I love the old school trucks the most, back when MT's were still trucks and not monster buggies doing acrobatics. To me the old school MT's had the challenge of making it over the cars without getting stuck or having a rollover. The slow, crushing power and roar of the engine... To me that is a monster truck, like the ones seen in this video.

Not so "old school" because the suspension is too modern.
