I really enjoy watching you guys work, for reasons that might surprise you. I'm a Brit [PompeyBoy] living in USA. Been here many years. I'm not working at the moment and get great pleasure from watching you work and, most importantly, the relationship you guys have as mates and colleagues. I'm sure you guys know how lucky you are to work with each other and have a job/trade that you are both good at. I miss the UK so love hearing your accents/little sayings/ seeing random UK streets and businesses etc. All this to say - yes your channel is about repair salvage motors but really the appeal and meaning is much deeper than that. For me it's about WHO you guys are and HOW you treat each other not what you do. Sorry if this is rambling but thought you might like to know that you play an important role in lots of peoples lives. BTW - I'm GUTTED that I live ins USA as I'd love to buy some of your motors!!
I dont know how many videos of yours ive watched,, i'll tell you one thing, Im allways blown away by the Standards you two have, another wicked motor, top work lads 👍👍
Any chance of you and Chris attending a classic car show and doing a meet and greet? I know my son would love to meet you both, great video as usual. Thank you.
If you have a plastic bumper or unprimed plastic panel you need to bake it in the paint both for some time to get the oils and solvents out which were used in the manufacturing process to stop the plastic sticking to the mould it's formed in. So bake it, then wipe it down, score it then wipe again with panel wipe.
10:48 Haha, toyota calipers! First I learnt that the little dinky Peugeot 101 or whatever it's called is a toyota Aygo in disguise, now this van, I guess it must be on the toyota Hiace/Proace platform. Nice work lads!
I really like them salvaging vans because they fix them up beautifully and it provides another useful vehicle for the next man to go out and earn his living. I call that a win win.
Another that turned out well after a great deal of parts finding that really kept you on your toes, Rob. After Chris's labours, the body was a deal better looking than my (personal) body, but I do have a few more miles on me and a lot more years, plus several (non motoring) accidents along the way!
I could do with a new van, Do you deliver to Adelaide South Australia.......... what a great job you guys have done.. brilliant.... but.... still waiting on the Vauxhall Viva........... my dad had one of them, wish I knew what happened to it, need to find a photo and send it to you.
Hello Rob and Chris, van turned out well and a nice little profit. Nice Lego Defender model in the office. Thank you for taking the time to upload another video. Ged
Nothing better than finishing one off , from a reck to perfect, its a great sense of achievment and obv getting paid when it goes helps makes it all worth while, its just big boys meccano lol . 👍
Sais it before , I'll say it again , good little earner for 2 genuine hard-working guys . Great video as always , keep it up ladz.Thankyou so much for sharing your working lives with us plebs 😂 take care and have fun yiu two
I’d be interested in an update on the HA Viva how shell restoration is progressing….? Interested as my Dad’s was a Blue one when I was little BDR807B and my grandad had a red one BRA sumink.. 😊
This will sell no problem! A lovely job, as you say they do drive extremely well, I'm on my second they drive just like a mainstream SUV and you can do hundreds of miles in a day comfortably. The standard Apple car play android auto is brilliant it just needs a bigger cup holder and a phone holder!
Another great video, I was wondering how hard would it be for you to get your own AC gassing unit. With modern cars they all have AC and getting your own gassing unit could save time and money in the future
Rob I’m thinking these high parts costs are getting more common when you’re repairing quite new vehicles where there’s not a lot of salvage parts around. You don’t seem to have so much trouble when you’re fixing up. 15/16 plate (for instance)..
That is a very nice van for someone. I understand what you are saying about 'thinking hard' before you buy another one of these. However you did make a profit at the end of the day that is what counts. I have lost track in the van world of who owns what but as Chris often says it is down to supply and demand regarding how much the parts cost. I am sure it will sell for your asking price so I wouldn't worry on that score. Thanks Rob and Chris that will be another one out the door very soon. 👍👍
Hi rob I had that recently where I bought two handed items and they were different prices when I asked why the difference the cheaper item was older stock so bought in cheaper than the latest stock price if that makes sense
Another first class job lads, don't think your work could be matched elsewhere. £10,500 isn't enough for the van, it's worth way more than that & you deserve a larger profit.
Greed by PSA-Stellantis, that parts are for specific brands, demand vs. supply, that some parts critical for crash absorbing properties have to be very carefully engineered and made may be factor for such expensive replacement parts. I suspect too that front body parts are commonly damaged so few in scrapyards. Still you guys made your time working on it and then some into this van. Some trades person will end up with a well sorted van with plenty of life left in it for to do their job (like doing the brakes on top of your other work) for far less than a new one. Your doing vans seems to be a nice niche to do as seems to work out well in profits and can get them cheap enough.
Rob, are you going to give us a clue when the next Sealine update will be? Even if it's just a quick external cleanup video, I'm sure I'm not the only one keen to see it ;-)
As usual a perfect job. I think that Chris might get a lot done with that speed he's working in?! I could really have used him today, shifting a rear axle on a Citroen. Damn that thing is heavy when you have to lay down under that car. I believe that chris would have done that in five sekonds? :) Great job guys. Have a nice weekend, when you come so far.
And the success stories go on!! Another cracking series from SR and good to see decent profits again. There's going to be a very happy white van man/woman around in the near future. Cheers, Bob
Even though it wasn't easy to repair and parts prices were scandalous, you really made that look mint 👌🏻 I hope you get the full money for it as that's a great price for a 4 year old van in this day and age 🙂
I remember when I had my 2014 C3 Picasso I wanted the chrome wing mirror covers like the special edition, Citroen wanted £71 per cover, now luck should have it they fitted them to the Peugeot 3008, Peugeot price same part number as well £55 for the pair. Crazy same company like.
Rob you will sell that no danger in aheart beat I'm a courier in Liverpool mate I know people paying £220 a week rental up here for them mate, love the channel you and Chris keep up the good work 👍
Good job on that Peugeot Expert look's good as new ,The window switches can break quite easily about 4 years ago I had the older shape Expert on (64 plate) switch went the same way you had to stick you finger in side to slide the window it did work I ordered one of E bay about £15 . The Expert was an E7 taxi a good van, I'm not taxi driver I finished July last year after 21 years, I am a carer for my Mum and Dad now . Chris , Rob great video take care, Regards Shaun from Wrexham😃😃🚗🛻🚕👍👍👍
Due to various manufacturer brand groups, joint ventures, mergers and co-operation agreements, this van is the Peugeot Expert, Citroën Dispatch, Vauxhall Vivaro, Fiat Scudo _and_ Toyota ProAce!
Oh Rob you never fail to make me laugh.. every video we are guaranteed "etc etc" 😂😂 Love it and just over my budget or I'd of been all over this.. well done guys, superb vid
another cracking video guys on another transformation of a damaged van turned out nice and I'm sure that will fly out the door once it's up for sale can't wait to see more keep them coming guys 👍👍👍👍💯💯💯💯
Lovely job and a lovely van, should sell to the first buyer at that price but how do we justify the price of Peugeot bits against Mercedes which is a prestige car maker, the price of parts was an eye opener in this one
Fabulous work again fellas interesting as usual 👏 rob your car 🚗 wash guy's certainly do a brilliant job on getting it clean in side and out 😊.your usual contacts have also done you proud looks a million dollars, keep up the good work take care and stay lucky and healthy fair on the price you want. Looking forward to Saturdays video 📹 already 😀
Rob you gotta start using your celebrity status , your much too famous to wait in a queue bro 😂, Chris never waits or even stands in queue’s these days 😉.

As an ex-Pat also in US I echo your sentiments……quite the duo
I dont know how many videos of yours ive watched,, i'll tell you one thing, Im allways blown away by the Standards you two have, another wicked motor, top work lads 👍👍
A great buy for someone at that price. Anyone who watches your repairs from beginning to end will have great peace of mind when buying.
Observing how you conduct your lives and business, the word - ethical - comes to mind. Have a great week!
Quite refreshing going on my dealings with the car industry so many crooks
Another great van being put back to work after a first class rebuild. Your attention to detail is legendary. Relatively low miles too. 👍🇬🇧😎
Any chance of you and Chris attending a classic car show and doing a meet and greet? I know my son would love to meet you both, great video as usual. Thank you.
Thanks for the enjoyable content Chris and Rob - those figures demonstrate the nuanced approach to the repair of new/recent vehicles.
A Big 👍from me on this one Rob, a little less silicone spray on the interior at the car wash though.
I tell them not to use any on any of our vehicles but they had a new guy 👍
Hi rob and Chris, great job on the wee van, from marty in Belfast northern Ireland God bless
If you have a plastic bumper or unprimed plastic panel you need to bake it in the paint both for some time to get the oils and solvents out which were used in the manufacturing process to stop the plastic sticking to the mould it's formed in.

Another worthy vehicle on the road thanks to you guys, superb work.
A lovely van guys. Even the clock has moved on 2 minutes things are looking up! Rob that desk job suites you 😉. Cheers for now...Take care guys.
I really like them salvaging vans because they fix them up beautifully and it provides another useful vehicle for the next man to go out and earn his living. I call that a win win.
Another project leaves the salvage rebuild workshops.
Well done guys , fantastic video as always.
Another gem, that’ll fly out the yard…. Great job the pair of you
It would have been great to see that front bumper colour coded
Would have made it slightly different
Awesome job though guys 👏
You guys are so professional with the work you do, massive range of expertise you have. Great to watch !
Seriously, we want more of the boat! Please make Chris happy too and just do the boat! The profit from the little merc will keep you afloat!😂
You’ve done it again guys 🐝 love how you always make sure you sell it for the best price possible and Marius drink for you both 👍🏻
These videos do certainly give confidence in your work.
That's 12k all day long for that van mate. Someone would still snap your hands off for that.😎👍
Great result guys, cool van. You guys need to get a AC machine as you do lots of cars.
Chris you really need a proper phone case haha
This is the new Wheeler Dealers
Hello Rob, the results of the Peugeot Expert van are brilliant.looks so much better after the clean, and got a free t shirt to wear lol.
Gorgeous van. Looks great. Another great video lads. Take care.

I can’t believe how expensive those parts you have done a lovely job and that is very reasonable price 👌

Hi Rob, Chris, love that DIY copper tube radiator, and I'd like to make one like it, but how do you bleed the air out of it?
Came out nice in the end. On to the next project.
