Building a vehicle tent is a really good way to give your FOB location to the enemy. They are visible from 300m. Same with mortars. The enemy can hear them firing from 300m and come and blow your FOB up. As happened. A pioneer got it. Next, turn off the engine when you park. It can heard from 100m. If you find an enemy repair crane, use your shovel to dig it up or get your AT guy to place some mines around it. It's a great present for enemy tanks to find.
Yeah but mortars have a range of over 1400 M. Who cares if a lone pioneer Rambos your fob, if your entire team was able to use the vehicles and weapons as force multipliers to cap the point. There's more strategy to it than "hide it so they can't find it".
For mortars, take a supply vehicle and drop half the load in a random forest instead of using the free fob mortar. You'll get a decent range from your supply drop point to place the mortars and then use bushes and trees to hide your muzzle smoke.
Nice. I've decided to try to learn logistics I'm pretty new to post scriptum but in hell let loose I do medic, support, engineer & AT but I have minimal time in post scriptum despite owning that game 1st. Thanks for the tutorial.
Thanks for the video about logistics. I suggest you dont place mortars near your fob, as they can be heard and the enemy may move to them and so discover your fob.
If you open up compass it shows you where the cap point is and you can aim at it. There's also little compass at the bottom of the screen when you enter mortar so you can get your bearing right and the map has distance meter for each square in bottom right. And then you have to calculate it by yourself.

Nice. Your welcome. I'll try and do some defensive logi too!

Thanks for suggestion!
But you get free ones at the fob right? How far away can you place them?
@@dave-yj9mc about 100-200 feet away, its still risky but being able to re load infinitely is worth it some times.
that double morter sound is so smooth
What destroyed the first FOB?
During editing I think I saw 1 enemy near... probably with explosives.
What app are you using ? And how did you calculate?
How do you read the map and mortar properly without the app?

I think I played with you, you still active? I notice your voice a lot
Nice! Yep still active.
Mostly it can't be set no construction range, what it means?
Maybe you're too far away from supplies or fob or maybe you just cant build on that spot.
@@Miha8GIn the real world we can build everywhere we want, but just in the game I can't be build
