It's good to be back to your hometown for four months. After all it's not that Yan does that frequently, two or three years or more does she get to be home to visit her own family. And ticket back & fro is not cheap, plus a long long journey. Also absent makes the heart grow fonder.
Spending more time with your kid when they are young, as time won’t come back. Don’t you miss seeing him grown and his learning progress. This is just my experience and thought as a mother.

Sometime worry about them too. I recommend you to do it when your husband are retired and you have lots of time to enjoy both together and also visit Paris, France too.

If i really needed to leave, i will show him love, at his age, his love language is all of those, i would hug him a lot, talk to him, playing games with him, cooking his favorite food, you know what are those. 其实可以回大马两个月,再回美国一或两个星期,再回來大马两个月。这样就不会觉得連续四个月太久。
我 sibling 在悉尼,每年回來三四次,來往很频繁,有時走了两个月又回來,看买到便宜机票就回來,便宜蛮多的,有時回來一星期,有時一星期多,有時几天。美国回大马不知有沒便宜机票,这样可以分開几次回來,每次時间短一点,这样就不会觉得自己在太遠的地方好像离開大马和美国家人很久那样。
现在很多大马人去澳洲工作和移民。For 大马人,那边也是几好住的。
