Kenny the 🐨 is the best name. I pick my painting based on what I have to get done for a gifts, but I always have a small one that travela well for work or hang out time and a large love is always on the go. Right now i have the square AMZ on the go, a small diamond dot heart and a starry night for my niece that i only have 2 weeks left to complete and frame.
I was hoping that it was going to be People's Princess! The painting is beautiful (just as she was!) before diamonds are placed. I haven't found a lot of DAC that really grabs me, but if that one was available, I would get Princess right away!
I usually let the decision wheel pick for me, but in an effort to get through my stash quicker and to whittle it down to almost only large diamond paintings, I've put the box with my small budget company kits next to my desk and I'm just taking them from the top 😅
Hi Rebecca, I like the name Kasey the Koala. Just to let you know I pick my next canvas from my picker wheel. I have a round and a square wheel and all of my stash fit on them. All 540 of them. Each picker wheel will fit a total of 359 canvases on them and I have roughly equal amounts of round and square kits. Obviously I'm on a slow buy this year. Cheers (from Australia).😄🐨
I think it looks like a boy koala bear. I think you should call him Keith or Kevin. It is a cute diamond painting. I have alot of animal paintings in my stash. I'm starting to get different diamond paintings. I still have diamond paintings from 2018 when I first started to diamond paint.
Primarily I will just choose what painting I fancy next to do, as I generally keep a small stash, so there isn’t too much choice between them. But I have toyed with the idea of a decision wheel; maybe once I complete the WIPs I have… excluding exceptions like presents and ones I just *really* want to do.
I think the koala should be called Kenny. I tend to pick paintings to do by events I’m interested in doing. If no events I just puck one I feel like doing by flipping through my log book
I use a decision wheel. I have my broken up by how many colors to match what cases I have. I have pushed a couple of paintings ahead such as Liberty's Light (a gift for a friend) and my current WIP of City Streets. All that have been kitted up are based on the decision wheel. Once I have completed City Streets, I will spin the decision wheel to determine my next WIP, and then spin based on my case for kit up.
I feel in love with this Koala during your stash video. I'm so glad he was picked. I mostly pick my projects by mood but this year I have a couple goals such as "do one of my Spanglers" etc.
I've got all mine on decision wheels.. small, med and large.. but occasionally DPs don't make it to the wheel 😂 Kola would be a good name for a boy or girl 😂🥰💚
I stay around 10 in my stash. So I try to do an old one and then a new one. I like to rotate between a square and a round. But if the mood strikes, I just do the one I really want to do. 🧡🐢🧡🐢🧡🐢
Kenny and Belinda were the names of the Koalas 🐨 (dressed up people 😜) at Dreamworld Theme Park here on the Gold Coast Queensland for many years. My 33 year old daughter still has her stuffed toy Belinda ❤
I do use a decision wheel but i made a wheel with the different types and let that make the choice what to do. So first wheel is what to do and then the wheel for what painting to do😂
This year my choices revolve around #2024dpbingo. It’s the first time I participate in it. Honestly ever since 2022 and I got hooked on entering events, they have pretty much driven my choices each month. There are times where I just want to do a painting and it doesn’t fit in any events. Last year I think I did that 3 times.
Love the koala. I suggest Matilda as it really suits her being from Australia 🇦🇺 😊

Beautiful! Granny's look like fun.

Kodie for the lady koala. Hugs from Gippsland, Vic.

I use dungeon and dragon dice. My canvases are numbered. I also created number cards and sometimes use those shuffle them up and make a pic.

Generally I choose my paintings by mood or new & shiny. For awhile I was working oldest first, but derailed. I might need to try a decision wheel.

I only have 4 in my stash so I just pick the one I want to to and Kory for the Koala 🐨 sounds cute...
