I use tiny “glue dots” on flat end of the multiplacers. The glue dots come in different sizes. They are super easy to work with, sticky, and have a little cushion.

I would suggest plumbers tape;it’s stretchy and winds tightly. Love the pen. Looking to see how you like the tray. Those small DAC paintings are so cute. Hope you enjoy working on it with your new tools. Peace and love abide with you 💕

Yes, one is an Italian brand on Amazon and then I’ve also used the wax stick for the glue gun that I use for making mailing seals.

I tried my first diamond art club tip and they are amazing for squares. I put washi tape on the top of the pen so it works with the DAC fancy pens. I wish they made the tops to fit the DAC fancy pens.

I love Yellow Dog trays. They are nice and 22:35 sturdy, and the drills line up great. Also, I read that DAC is working on a pen that you screw on the single placer and the multiple. I have to use washi too.

I actually got out a drill bit and hollowed out the pens a bit and then used thin/narrow washi to get it to fit properly. Just use a fine drill bit and do it a little at a time. They don’t even fit their own DAC pens well.

I just bought the Daphne and Velma myself. My daughter loves Scooby Doo so I’m doing those two first and then I’m gonna get the other two. She already has a big Scooby Doo that I’m gonna place all of the others around.

I’m having good luck with mini Glue Dots, some pens use one dot and others take two dots.

I bought a 6 placer and DAC pen; it needs washi tape too and I had to use a but of force to get it in. However, it's secure once it's in there. It's just really hard to get out if you enjoy switching pens (personally I stick to one to two pens and don't switch up all too often).
I don’t switch tips too often, but I have enough pens to change those out between kits! Thanks for watching!!
I use a squishy that comes with the kits to make my tips fit snuggly in any pens that I have issues with.
Do you cut it up? How does that work?
@@DiamondPaintingAnonymous I can try to explain it but I don’t know how much sense it will make. I do have a TikTok video showing it but I wasn’t going to be rude and post the link.
You cut off a ring using the segment lines. Then cut the ring so that you have one piece.
Stick one end down into the diamond painting pen and hold it so that it doesn’t move. Shove the tip down beside the piece of squishy and trim off the excess. Works like a charm.
It’s also a way to use something that I wouldn’t really use otherwise. I think that it works better than washi tape.

I just HAD to take a look at those pens, they are absolutely beautiful and I had to get one for myself. I have a wood turned pen, so clay would be an obvious next choice. I don't like the resin pens at all as they are too hard and too heavy after prolonged use. Thank you so much for introducing me to a new type of pen. :)

The mica glitter is mixed into the resin so you don't have glitter everywhere lol !

I’ve got the opposite problem. I have several pens I can barely get the tips into. Some are too tight to the tips in at all.

I figured that out - this is my first kit with the fairy dust I’ve opened!
Considering how much the placers cost from DAC you shouldn't have to gerry-rig them.

I use washi tape on all my placers and no problem after that.

That pen is gorgeous! 😍 Love look of their trays but with me being international shipping is always too dear for me even on trays, pens etc 😥 Though have found UK company that carrys Bella Art and Fire Fly trays as well as Norse Alchemist pens 😊I love Daphne also!!
