Hi everyone! Welcome to part ELEVEN of my vlog series from my recent 21-night cruise onboard MSC World Europa, one of the newest cruise ships from MSC Cruises. This cruise took me from Dubai (UAE) to Marseille (France), via the Suez Canal, so I have so much to show you!
In this episode, we've completed our full transit of the Suez Canal, and have made land in Europe! Today, it's a day in Naples, and I can't wait to head into the city and explore - I was last here a few years ago, and didn't love it, so let's see if my experience today is any better... Join me on the hunt for the best pizza that Naples has to offer...!!

It's interesting to see you doing the things we've done twice last 2 months. Fried pizza was definitely worth queuing for!
Naples is an amazing place to be in but you have to accept it on its own terms, it's chaotic and sometimes rowdy but it never disappoints! Loved seeing you change your mind and that pizza... Wow!! ❤️😮😁

Great video and info! What was the date you filmed this? It looked a bit Chilly out with lots of people in warm jackets. I am sailing on this ship in 2 months and curious if that is a bit of the weather I can expect.
Hey! I filmed this in April/May time 2023, so yes - take a jacket just incase! What I’d say is that I’m British, and often find Europeans are still wearing coats when I’m in shorts - they look at me like I’m insane, ha!

They say: first visit Napels then die...so I decided never to go to Napels but now I'm going in november while I'm on the Toscana LOL. However..I will not get in line for that pizza. 🍕🍕🍕🍕

I was in Naples in 2019 and a corporation dump would have looked tidier
It’s really tidied up since my last visit, but still a lot of work to be done there…
The waste problem in Naples is internationally infamous, a result of political ineptitude, poverty, corruption and the influence of the Mafia on the waste management business.
It's not really that bad. If you could look past all the grittiness on the surface, it's the most vibrant and interesting Italian city, and the locals are very characterful.
The graffiti was really bad there. Iv noticed that in a few countries
What a waste of time in a place like Naples. Get a map or use google maps to know where to walk safely. So many choices. One thing is traveling on a budget and another travel with no money. Also, learn to say excuse me when passing people on tide sidewalks. They probably invented pizza, however, it is not different from pizza in other places (sometimes better). And what the ...is happening with your upper lip? Distracting. Disappointed.
Hey, this was a great trip to Naples actually - it was completely different to what I’ve had anywhere else - much better actually.
Re: my lip - that was sunburn unfortunately, but all healed now - apologies if this distracted you, but nothing I could do about it at that point in time - would be far more distracting if I wore a mask, ha.
