Only in the later part we kind of get an inkling as to what the whole problem was … They should have done a better job of clarifying marital rape…. But the acting and rest of the story line is amazing beyond words !

Above all, as a woman, i can understand the feeling she had towards him i.e. he respected her feelings when she talked about divorce, and also he never approached or persuaded her at any point. He completely stayed away from her when he knew that she don't like him. An ill person may not be like him, may try to involve again and would have brutally abused her again. That is the scenario of the woman who undergoes marital rape, they may be undergoing it for years. It never stops until they bring the issue out or completely go away from them. He is not womanizer nor a sexual abuser. It is his lack of knowledge about love and sex that put him in such place. Later he learns it slowly, which is quite acceptable. That is my point of you, but i respect your point too.
