This is just my opinion, and I've got a lot of flak for saying it, but... I still think Whitneys studio version for the movie is the best version of this song. That said, I also think THIS is the best live version I have ever heard, including any live version Whitney or anyone else has done. Others opinions may differ, but at 67, I've heard a lot of versions, and I'm still sticking with this young lady as the best live version.

SCANDALOUS !!!!!!

Three years ago I said "I think this Country right now could use a Patriotic performance from her" But at the same time, how do you avoid political influences? She is living in SoCal and that's a concern to me, because I left there and I know it's attraction. As I said, she sings this song flawlessly and very well. I don't know if she can make a breakthrough in our culture with this song.
