This video was very nice made and almost perfectly showes the GTA Online life cycle... BUT you forgot one stage. It´s the stage I´m curently in and it´s the true final stage. In this stage you have accepted the game for what it is, a buggy mess filled with tryhards and other a**holes. What people do in this stage is help lowlevels or noobs (most of the time these will be under level 50 because those players haven´t yet chosen the path they want to go). I help them out by inviting them into my Organizition and grinding money with them (I´m a grinder) or buy protecting them from other players wile they do open world missions. Another thing that will happen is that players get bored, so they try to learn new stuff (for me it was PvP because i sucked at it and wasn´t able to defend mine or others cargo and stuff like that) And as we all know everything has a bad side. In this stage the bad side is that most people fight the urge to kill other random players. This is also were i think true tryhards are born. A side thing that i do is trying to speedrun difrent missions to see how fast i can get at grinding. In this stage some people even stop playing the game until a new DLC comes out or they create a new Caracter and start all new again. If anyone wants to ad to this stage just write theyr change under my coment. (Btw sorry for bad english it´s not my first language)
Could also be represented with the characters. You start off as Franklin ambitious but skill and penniless, you become micheal with money and only killing when necessary, the you become Trevor rampaging psychotic he'll bent on destruction and finally transcend into creepy uncle Lester who see and knows everything and is just along for the ride
When you are enlightened and you have friends in much lower stages, it’s very nice to be able to help them up to your level and through their own journey. Nice vid man
I use to help lower levels. Until they started grieving cargo because that’s “the only thing fun” left in the game. I’ve found another new level friend that I’ve helped from level 30 to 80 he’s got pretty much everything you could want. And now is slowly turning into a sweat 😓 must be me I guess 🥲🥲🥲

I made it to 10, then joined the military and stopped playing video games.. I miss it though. Life was so much easier when I was playing gta5 with my best friends and our only worry in life was bad internet connection and staying up late trying not to get caught by our parents 😂🥺 I miss those days..

Stage 11: Fulfilment After having achieved everything the player set out to do, after several long years of playing, it is finally time to move on. The player will quit the game that they have come to know and love (or viscerally despise), only reappearing to check out the new dlc once in a while or usually never logging in again. Now the player’s journey has come full circle and they can finally go outside. Until R* announces GTA6
Alternatively, they will also resort to playing classics such as 3, vice city, San Andreas, the stories games, or even gta 4 including the DLCS, or playing the top down perspective titles but it's very unlikely.

As a player who played for almost nine years now, with some breaks of course, I can proudly say that after being on level 3 I immediately went to 10. I started on PS3 when it was not so much to obtain so I felt really accomplished when I finally got my precious Hydra. Then I moved to PC where I am just to play new updates and help more and more of my friends to start the game. I have never felt an urgence to play as a griefer but I had few episodes with modmenu when updates where more occacional. Now I just gather money from every source so it wouldn't make me bored and I spend it on little sweets like cars and prettier interior. I feel as it is the best way to play online sandbox games and I wish everyone to find so much joy in the same simple gameplay as mine.

The fun memories I also started on ps3 2013, my dad's account which me and my brother used got modded and it had nearly infinite money, then my brother made his own account, his account got modded aswell and he even won a modded account with everything And i made my own account, same thing happened, my ps3 account got banned in 2020 and my brother Doesnt play gta 5 anymore, im currently playing on xbox, level 131 as of now
i think im in stage 7. im level 390 and at the moment i have more money in the bank than i've ever had before (50mil). my overall income in stats is something like 350-400 million last i checked. i don't even really care about buying more stuff or competing w other players at this point , that's how it started but it's beyond that now. now it's the grind itself that im hooked to ; i've gotta push it to the limit
One time I drove around for hours in free mode in a lowrider with Space 103.2 playing in the background just because I felt like it. I think I skipped stage 8 though since I mostly avoid PVP and I stopped caring about grinding altogether. I just mostly do whatever story/heist/business update gets launched and buy whatever vehicle is new just to add it to my collection. 70% of my time is spent on free mode organizing my vehicle collection and collecting my passive business funds from my safe. I haven't sold any of my business stocks like bunker, MC or CEO in months to years. All that shit just sits there. The other 30% is spent on online races. God I miss stages 1-5.
you could become a coach /friend to someone like me, for instance, I just got my 1st console and new to GTA, imagine the amount of wtf that has gone through my head... also, you will be in for the lols watching a newbie driving XD or failing a S- ting , but I guess you could also feel proud of them when the learn or accomplish a goal, create community I guess (just giving an example, I don't mean me exactly, I just mention myself 'cause I am newbie)
Just so you know, you can automatically jump to Stage 10 if you give up on Free Mode and play all the modes Rockstar has to offer. I don’t just mean Adversary-I mean beautiful things like Capture, LTS, Survival, etc., and you will never grow tired of it, especially when you find a crew/server/group of friends willing to also start full matches in player created maps. I was stage 10 well before many people. This is why I still play. I’m just not stupid enough to waste my life grinding.
not really. he says that those in stage 10 have access to everything they could ever want in gta online, if you just do those low paying jobs like the ones you described you’ll make like zero money and won’t have anywhere near enough to buy the stuff you actually want. you defo need to grind at least a little bit to get to stage 10
The best feeling is when you are on stage 10 and you take noobs under your care. I made several stage 6 players. After that. They choose their own path. When someone thanks you for making this game fun again you truly feel enlightened.
Landing into stage 10 after closer to 2000 hours of grinding was the best thing that ever happened to me in GTAO. When nothing really matters you can just enjoy the finer things in life in Los Santos, help n00bs, heist with your old GTA friends, do whatever you want and not feel a bit of pressure about it since you no longer have to prove anything to anyone and the bank manager called and said I need another bank account since the first one is full X-D
facts i just have fun with friends man, we just mess around and we are super rich so we mess with vehicles or airplanes a lot, or spin the wheel as a squad or do car races together for fun
I’m actually impressed, I didn’t actually expect this video to have my “stage” and yet you covered it pretty damn well. I have yet to meet any other player in gta who does what I do but I’m sure they exist out there. All I ever see it beginners and noobs starting their journey, grinders and of course, the countless tryhards, glitch abusers and sweats. Occasionally groups of friends which sometimes includes nothing but griefers but there are good people out there too. I’ve been playing this game for a looooong time and I’ve made many friends and memories I wish to treasure forever. This game for sure has it’s place on my list of favorite games of all time.
Hello there, I think you and I may be some of the very few who are actually stage 10. You sure sound like it. I could say the same about GTA. I’ve played since it launched in 2013, and still play. Currently level 1030, with $200 million, a kd over 3.00 (not that it really matters, I know) and a lot of fun friends. I purely still play for fun. I have every possession I could want to buy. I can make more easily but don’t even need to. I’m good at fighting with guns and vehicles but I’m fantastic at fighting as a pilot. That’s my main drive. I’ve always wanted to be one of great pilots of GTA and I am one. That sounds a bit cocky but after playing and flying for 8 years in GTA I’m sure I can say that about myself. I feel just like you dude. I don’t know anyone like myself. Sure I occasionally meet high level players who’ve been playing for years but they’re all either kd warriors are harmless grinders. I don’t know anyone else who’s reached the top and enjoys helping other people, you know? Like give me a seabreeze and I’ll kick some ass or give me double money on special cargo and I’ll make millions. But also give me some friends and I’ll help them run a business, win a fight, or just join their car show or something. I wish I knew more people at stage 10. I have a few friends stage 8 or 9 but all they do is fly on mk2s and lasers, use godmode and orb spam, and dupe cars for money. There has to be plenty of players like us still out there but I haven’t met any yet. Not for a long time.
@@FalconFlight747 damn bro I think im similar y to you, playing this game for a really long time, have done everything in the game, owning money that I couldn't even spent all of em, and yet having fun in online just to drive and observe other players Used to have 1v1s all the time and got 10+ kd, but then get bored of pvps and started to enjoy the game again like driving around and helping new players, as this game had gave me that much, I think I should contribute to the community But the online contents are updating too slowly that I finally decided to hop into singleplayer modding after like 5k hrs of gameplay i think My friends are all around stage 8, yet they don't really use mod menu nor spamming godmode for kd, instead Im constantly using a mod menu just to mess with them, and sometimes messing with my car Im still having a lot of fun in this game but I lack some friends like you, that sucks
@@disinque6961 That’s pretty damn cool. When you master your craft and become the best grinder and the best killer, GTA is just more of the same. What keeps it fresh are DLCs but also just seeing what others are doing. It’s fun to help someone else make money while cursing around in a truck or a car I don’t normally drive. It’s also fun helping my friends win a fight using something dumb like a mogul. Not everything has to be done at 100% effort and power. It’s fun having options in freemode and being useful for anything going on. Both friends and enemies keep the good times rolling in GTA. Keeps people like you and me busy - now that we’ve seen it all. I add anyone that friends me, even noobs, just to have someone to interact with. And it’s always funny when they react to my level, or how many cars I have. Nice to see a veteran like yourself still plays.
Ive now reached Enlightment after being sent back to stage 6 and its depresion from stage 8 after being one of the unfortunate few that were mistakenly wiped after the ceo/garage exploit that most players took advantage of. It reminded me of what it was like to have nothing in the game but a complete understanding of it. I like to think of this set back as having reached stage 9 and accepting the true nature of the game and rockstars cruel and corupt ways. Accepting this helped me reach rank 120 in a matter of only 2 weeks although Those prier 5 years of progress are no longer on my playstation, they are now instead engraved into my soul.
Rockstar isn't corrupt. You decided to cheat and take the easy way out. I seriously doubt you are a rank 120 in two weeks. It took me over a year to reach rank 250.
My man, as someone who started playing this game as a fresh noob only a year ago, this is spot on! Only thing I would add is how fucking bewildering online is when your only experience of GTA is story mode.. as a noob, you honestly have no idea where to start. The other, more experienced palyers have been drip-fed this stuff over the years, but a noob has to learn it all in one go. On top of that, is doesn't help that the game doesn't guide you through anything. Loving your vids, though 😎

I loved learning everything in one go as it was ALL new to me, now however its just broing. I personaly feel like im stage 6 trying to get to 7 but its just boring, the pvp is ass couse EWO, modders, mofos that spend 15 hours a day playing the game and vehichle spammers.

As someone who plays it from day 1. I can say i experienced everything. From replaying missions getting 20k before heists, to the first heists and the DNS codes era. MC businesses, bunkers, cargo you name it. All kind of money glitches, all out war public lobbies, mk2 infestation. Modders, cayo perico, everything.
I'm at stage 10 along with the three guys I consistently play with. We've been around since launch and been through all the previous stages in one way or another. We basically just mess around at this point. Today we played a sort of cat and mouse type game where my friend drove around in the world in one of his tuners while the remaining three of us tried to carpet bomb him with our RO-86 Alkonosts. This stage in the game is definitely the time where I've had the most fun in GTA Online.
Wow as a lvl 410 I would say I am at stage 10. For me though i had a different upcoming to the game. I have not perfected any specific skill. I am more of a jack of all trades. I enjoy every aspect of the game, from being a tryhard at times to racing to even grinding for money. I do all of them effectively at this point. I consistently come back and do all of those things because I love GTA 5 Online and the community. its a game ive never stopped playing, even after all these years. I am very similar to you my friend, as I am a lvl 405 and have always balanced the activities with my friends, forcing us to be good at them all, which kinda sucks when you are good at all, but master at none when you gotta go try your very best against a briefer on a broomstick.
@@Sniper_05 same im level 450 and havent played the game in about a year because i got everything i stopped playing after i got the program save wizard because now i could get infinite money essentially and it kinda ruined the game for me after i got all the money and modded outfits. Pvp even started to get boring so i stopped playing but i started to pick it up again an today it was nice to see all the new dlc buildings and vehicles it reminded me of the days where i would grind cayo pierco lol. Im hoping to start playing the game more again.
I have completely given up in my gta online life I’m a lvl 983 and still going I just play with my mate and think back to the time when we used rob money trucks and try to rob every shop in the game but now I just troll people and spend all my money 😔😔😔

Oh boy,i still remember the day i created my character and landed in Los Santos, a world quite different from the one on story mode. Had no clue where to start, what to buy first or how to even make money. I can't even remember how many times I grinded Rooftop Rumble just to get 20K+ which for that time was a good amount. Fast forward to this day, 7 years later and rank 593 i have everything i ever wanted in the game, all businesses, all guns,200+ cars and a good 300+ million dollars in my account. GTA is a journey that still continues for me and i still enjoy it to this day!
As an enlightened pilot, i find at stage 10 these days i find flying the cropduster and Cuban 800 is so much fun than just getting on the usual fighters.
This is literally me. Iv been playing since 360 launch and i feel im on stage 10, countless hours spent 1v1ing in pvp and the search for every rare item/vehicle in the game over the years. GTA has given me everything it can offer me, and so i give back to the new players. I can truly say i am enlightened

Definitely in the enlightened stage. I stopped playing for a couple years at one point, but with new features and things to do in the game, it made me come back. I may not play it like I used to, but it sure is a lot of fun.
After playing this game for a while I found it to be the most fun to just play the game the harder way, like using a pistol more often, hide mid gunfight and snack and just suffer the npcs trying to humiliate you, do the heists the hardest way and spend hours trying to beat it with friends, learning to be as good as you can
I’m level 103 and I just got 2 of my friends to start play. I remember how painfully slow and hard it was to get money and grind for all the cool things. Now I can just do Cayo Perico and the Casino heist with them. One is level 38 and the other is 4. The lvl 38 just got the submarine so he will be grinding while I’m on vacation. Cant wait to see how far he’s gotten when I get back
It's kinda nice helping lower levels. Cause when I started i didn't have many choices to make good money but now there's so many ways and now that I have access to all these ways I like helping new players to get them money to start grinding for themselves
I was just in the level 38s situation, my neighbor carried me untill I got the kosatka and he just came back from a 2 week vacation, now I have a raiju, a MOC, a bunker, and a nightshark
Been through all the stages. Started out by grinding out Rooftop rumble, the liquor store robberies, and then I started building up my ranks and friendships by doing RnG. 8 years later, I have done all the heists, became a degenerate PVP tryhard, then have permanently retired as an anti-griefer tryhard whenever I get a chance. Whenever I play gta online nowadays, I launch into an invite only session to just play with my fiancé, and we’re doing The Contract DLC. RIP GTA PS3 servers. I happily made it to 456 before moving onto PC :’)
Oh boi.. i started playing gta like in 2015 when my dad brought me an xbox around christmas and bought us gta. At that point i didn't even had xbox live and tought that if i use a cheatcode it will stop me from doing missions (u know when you need to look for a getaway car, didn't even knew english at that point, i was like 10)... Man those were the days. My friend came over and played gta, lego, football, hide n seek all day long... And now here i am, an almost 17 year old guy just spying on people in online with an akula, sometimes grinding for vehicles and helping my friends :P The only thing i learnt in pvp is that the mk2 is ass compared to what the deluxo is capable of doing....

That's a great video! I've started playing early 2014 and I've been in a mix of stage 7 and stage 10 for 3-4 years now but I've never had stage 8 or 9. Also I think you missed stage 11 of the "All Achievers" going for literally EVERYTHING
I miss 2014. Everyone either had the Zentorno or the Adder. I remember I use to back up to players and chuck sticky bombs at people since the Zentorno didn't have a back window.... life was so much simpler lol
I’m at the last stage, I have found happiness by driving muscle cars, I did everything in the game and I own everything I ever wanted in the game but the only thing I want to do is drive while being chased by the police.

This couldn't be more accurate! Brings back memories of release when everyone was changing DNS settings on 360 and the by far most op thing was the rhino tank 😂 oh the times. I'm now a LEGIT level 604 i can relate to every single part of this video and agree 110% that this is the stages of a GTA online player!
Holy shit man, I actually gone through all of this XD with the depression part being far more severe in my case, dropped the game thrice then ended up coming back to it thrice again. Made Lamar's line in this new update even more depressing when he told you that he's the first person who introduce you to this world and gave the very first pistol for you. Now look at me man, at the very top and yet forgetting about the man who made me go through it all. Nowadays I only play if there's an update coming, then taking a break if I've seen everything from the update. Making those comeback moments even more dramatic, to be back to face my criminal identity at San Andreas.

From day one to current day... amazing video, I still remember playing with friends, grinding, grinding and grinding money and now... destroying griefers and tryhards, helping other players and still grinding money.
I’ve played GTA5 for 5 years now. I am Lvl. 139 (which makes me seem bad at the game, but personally I don’t think so.) I began at stage 1 and played until around stage 3, where I gained interest in other games after I got bored because of the sudden surge in griefing. I eventually came back after around 5 months after the Cayo Perico update came out, where I made a ton of money, which led to a relapse into the interest of other games, due to boredom. Then the agency came out, where I completed the main contract and stayed away again for a small amount of time. Between all of the events until now, I had an extreme craze over console milsim RP which led to me becoming extremely arrogant and dislikeable. Now, I’m at around stage 10 where I do contact missions (as I didn’t do most of them at the beginning of my playthrough) and payphone hits. I also use director mode and friends in private sessions to create films, one of which I have uploaded. Overall, if you are in a stage 10 area, I recommend doing whatever makes u happy and if you feel like it, because it is easy and fun, make films.
This was brilliant! I'm only 5 months into GTA but 2+ years into RDO and find myself at peace in rdo just riding around doing things for little to no $$ and helping new players. In GTA I'd say I'm still perfecting my grind and learning how to fight back when hit by griefers...with nearly 10 years of content there is alot to explore!

This video covers everything about what player goes through. And you got all the damn details right. At first when I bought GTA I played story for a little then headed straight into online. I played GTA 4 online but when I hopped on this back in 2016 I had no idea where to start. I got killed the first few minutes and I was like ok with it. But throughout the years of me grinding and now having everything in the game. I truly love helping players who are new to the game or just don’t know how GTA Online works. Being at the mid stages quite suck but you get to the top stages easy if you put the time into this game. I’m between stage 10 and 9 depends what content comes out in this game. Great video man! 👍
I’ve played this game since GTA online came out. Through all of the friends that I’ve made I have none of them left through real life responsibilities yet I still cherish the funny/fun memories I made with all of them. This game where you can essentially do whatever you want whenever you want is a breeding ground for fucked up minds to connect. Idk why I’m putting it so deeply but this game very much resonates in my heart in a great way. Me being a level 442 rn 😂😂played since I was 11 and I’m 18 now. Can you imagine all the stuff I’ve been through not only on the game but real life? So much changes yet I still feel that sense of 11 year old joy when I play this game sometimes. Whether is landing a sick backflip on a motorcycle or a good get back on a griefer I still will always love this game for what it is. A colossal clusterfuck of all the things you want to do in life. Probably a little too drunk to actually mean this but I do love this game. This video reminded me of the good old days where I could scream and yell at strangers on the internet. One of the realest comments I've read on the internet.......not TH-cam..... but THE INTERNET! I haven't been playing GTA5 online for that long (level 70) but I've been a consistent gamer since Atari and when online play became a real thing, you tend to build connections through multiplayer. Most never lasted but the shit was fun at the time! My first crack at multiplayer was F.E.A.R, on the 360. I talked so much shit during those matches and got mad cool with some of the most random ass people across the US. Usually just for the time we were playing our matches. I actually can relate to these steps. I went through all of them (aside from learning the game because I knew a lot about the game before I even started playing it). I must say that before I used to do just PvP I was a quite a sweat and I've spent most of my time flying a lazer and just griefing the shit out of the lobbies. When I look at these times, I genuinely cringe lol. This is a great video not gonna lie. I am wondering what's next lmao.
I played this stage since launch before even the ps4 edition content released, since launch I was a grinder and somehow I never really got through the stages 6 - 9. Instead I went straight to 10. im a stage 10. i have everything i could ever want and just play for enjoyment and to also assist friends in growing their wealth and skill on gta. i can pinpoint the time and years i was going through all ten stages. now im a seasoned veteran enjoying the game the best as i can
As a proud stage 9 player, I can confirm that my life has become much sadder as the years of me playing this game has gone by, 6 years in and I have no plans on stopping.
At this point, I've been at the final stage for a long time. I usually hop on to help my friends or have fun doing photoshoots or cinematics, I will return to doing grinding every here and there but I have every business in the game so it's at the point where I hop on to have fun and do my hobby now which is more photography and cinematics but I always look back and help defend new grinders.
I rarely play anymore, but I'm definitely at 10. I have every money making method unlocked, and lots of spare dollars in bank. I might as well play the missions I like, play the modes I like, or do whatever the hell I want in freemode with my huge arsenal of my favourite vehicles and tools of carnage. Those of my friends who still play GTA are HC grinders. Their days go on Cayo Perico, not on a vacation, but to work. I can't see myself going back to that world anymore. The streets of Los Santos to me will be roamed for fun, not a job.
The problem here is money, you got like 1,000,000,000,000-etc. I keep myself pretty much poor so I kind of "enjoy" the Grind again. Like yesterday, finally done with LD Organics. Cool looking Uzi.
i enjoyed this way more than i expected to, and now im definitely sitting at stage 10, doing whatever i find fun, driving whatever wacky car i like just for the sake of doing so, random npc massacres for fun, chillin on a rooftop, police standoff on the pier, cruising to cruise, riding bikes, etc. The possibilities are only limited by what i find fun. as someone who got the game on day one before online was even a thing, i believe this is a really well structured and accurate take on the life cycle of a gta online player. you hit the nail on the head man, liked and subbed for this one.

these nice 8 years passed by pretty damn fast. stage 9 and 10 in between is basically me at this point, nothing to do anymore and just enjoying it in my own way by making survivals and playing them with my friends and other things.
Can confirm, I went through the 10 stages, from noob to tryhard, to tryhard to a weird death angel, helping people with all my money and stuff Truly a horrible place, Los Santos has become, we have to shine a little light.

Def enlightened now I finally know what to call it everything bores me been playing since the start on every generation it’s released for n at this point I can do anything I want whether it’s in online or mods in sp like I just find myself bored and constantly searching for something new to get addicted to and grind for or complete but there’s like nothing besides organizing garages and making everything as ocd perfect as possible lol
I’m definitely stage 10 for sure. I’ve been playing for six years and managed to rack up 177 days of play time. I guess I’ve accepted the game for what it is and I enjoy having fun with my friends.
I’ve given up on this game. Even with friends, it’s always been boring. Killing people mindlessly, or grinding, even helping noobs or playing with friends, I’ve never enjoyed it, I’ve always wanted to play something else and I only stuck around because my friends like the game
im a mix of: grinding for everything, hating the games guts and have boredom, and helping other players start their journey (im farming cayo with a lvl 30 that wasnt stupid and attacked me during a business battle, literally only reason i decided to help him)
I've sunk around 1.1k hours into the game after starting in 2019 and I'm at around level 380, I went down the dark side and did money glitches for my stuff, because grinding just was never fun to me. My favorite thing used to be trading modded cars, cause I loved all the wacky combinations people would do, but now I'm at a mix of stages 9 and 10ish. I do godmode and off the radar and act like an npc, dress like one, and whenever I see a griefer killing a low level, I just up and atomizer them to death out of nowhere, which is funny cause they don't expect it. I also really enjoy car meets and just helping ppl with heists since I've done all of them already. I have 10mil in the bank and own all the properties I care about and am at 160 cars due to trading, so I just take the smallest cut possible (0% on OG heists, 15 on newer ones). Another fun thing that I do is go around on a mk2 protecting cargo ppl in pubs. They always drive nervously when getting stalked by a mk2, but their cargo never gets destroyed. I love doing beach 1v1's, and RNG customs with people, even if I'm kinda bad lol (0.84 kd) The game is fun when you have nothing you need or want anymore. I experience all the wild shit it has in the playerbase. I exist to do stupid shit like toreador bowling with people when they're in the middle of fights, the godmode npc like I said earlier, car meets, and hell I've even started doing gta rp's. This game is fun again because I'm done with the grind, I have everything I need and everything I want. LS is my playground, and I'm gonna do as much as possible in it.
You may have missed something. If someone who is godly at grinding gets bored, they could switch to pvp, opening them up to a new side of gta, giving them more things to do and look up for, and vice versa.

Dude this was one of the best gta vidz I’ve seen in awhile…Even tho there some moments where it was hard to understand some of the thought provoking realizations he was stating, I appreciate the time he put into making this and categorizing the 10 Steps! It’s super funny to listen to cause you obviously correlate your own journey on this game w/ everything he’s saying (even if it is in that Scowwish Sty AXXXENT-Jk it wasn’t that bad) I’m trying to see what step I would be on in relation to his steps and even tho I think I’ve become a Full Jedi or I feel like every gta experience is comprised of now by me being Mr Miagi in Karate Kid as all I do now is explain things to kids, things like: Maybe you SHOULD jump into that black van when walking home from school as he prob does have access to loads of candy-Juuuust a joke ppl, or asking about their single mom who u can hear in the background & if she’s single cause she’s in her mid to late 30s lol…jk, I just get em to grab their credit cards so he can buy an “information drop”where I tell him about several clothing glitches & how to mug other gamers for $10k, etc that are surely to keep him entertained for hours or take him to Cayo Perico & make him lots of money or Give him some of my vehicles for a flat $30 fee + a Modest Gratuity of 85% Tip. I have almost everything in the game and when u say that I mean vehicle wise I’ve collected all the Good-Awesome cars, Weaponized machines, etc… In all honesty I’m probably at step 8, I’m rank 325 or something, I use to grind businesses every nite until Cayo was introduced now I just sell nightclub & bunker, but I’m not the typical gta’er as I’ve prob only done 20 or so races in 3 years of playing daily. I never play adversary modes of any kind lol why would u when u have fighter pilot jets to fly or tanks to troll around with, Mk2 depressors to take down by the most surgical methods possible…Chernobog Up on a mountain too far away or on top of maze bank, customizing ur Supercars w/ the belief that other gamers will see all the details and one day praise you for the decisions you’ve made and ridiculous amounts of money u put into it lol I have like 27 Garages in total and so it’s hard trying to pick out a vehicle…But I’m headstrong and decide on something! No I kid a lot but I love this game but hate some parts of it. I have a crew I made a year ago or so and there’s 250+ members so trying to cater to them and still trying to find my comfort zone. Hate the pvp players that are too cringey to even fight with, the ones that don’t let u get kills cause they blow themselves up smh, they usually are found in the middle of the city on foot or on their stupid halo flying bike parking it on every rooftop to do their next douchebag tactical move in efforts to kill u-These nerds fight w/ bich tactics and force me to msg them stating the obviousness style of fighting they use-It’s how they’ve been brought up in life. No father, no foundation or respect for anything but Tik tok - I love the game. I like helping out ppl getting killed over and over - But like he stated in video, it’s hard to find these dirty azz players when u only know your style of fighting. Plus they’ve practiced sniping on a beach for the last 12 months so that’s always fun. It’s fair to say this is a 3rd person shooter game or fps I guess too if ur a Pyscho, unlike any other popular fps games, moving the characters around, switching guns is always a diff speed due to rooms server at the time, so fighting is still incredibly difficult if ur not a dedicated tryhard…Whereas COD gsmiing you could adapt to their controls in a week, well not on gta. My kd I saw recently was 1.9 and I’ve done a lot of fighting but I didn’t know that was decent, but still my skills need sharpening. Have to say buddy an amazing video, very inciteful. Im proud to say I've never grief'd others and have no intention to go down that path as I am all to aware of the negativity its causes the other player, its just not my bag. Honestly not sure where I sit on those stages, hopefully will reach enlightened without going down the path of being a compete ass hat. I have my businesses and my money making methods and enjoy what I do. It's quite sad that I tend to steer to solo sessions as there are just too many "bad" people out there who want nothing more than to spoil your day. Good job mate.
I’ve been playing for several years and this video is pretty spot on. I went from grinding simeon missions all day with 3x money and rp just to get a mil at the end of the day to having everything I could ever want and easily netting 5 mil on a good day.

im mostly at stage 10, i have alot of fun with all the things ive gotten by working hard, ive put over a 100 days into this game and have made so many friends along the way. I have so much fun when i play with my friends from school or even my online friends but when im alone i begin to question this game and how much it has changed for the better and worse.
i only just started playing gta online a couple days ago. yesterday i was doing some delivery mission in a seaplane, and i was coming back to the coast when some missile shooting jet ambushed me. idk what it was but it fired several rockets at a time, and i successfully evaded about 4 volleys by doing tricks, until i decided to try and land so i could make my escape in a motorbike or car. i landed and the seaplane rolled into a tree, exploding the plane and then i died lmao. gg, mr missile jet man, well played
I was never allowed gta until I was 13. Lockdown had barely started. It was may 15th 2020. The start of the best 6 months of my life, the grind with my best friend from school, we called ourselves the anti griefers 😂😭. We killed griefers (when we could 😭) and helped low levels with cargo even when we were only level 60 or something. We always just messed around. Vehicle cargo, stunt races, yacht battles, going to the park (irl) I was living the dream. It was warm almost every day, gta was some of the most fun thing I ever did. Then now things will never be the same my best friend who I played gta with no longer likes gta he hates it in fact. And I only play gta to remember the old days. Everything was better especially now I’ve found out my mum has cancer. My GCSEs (that I’m failing currently) are in 6 weeks and I’m falling deeper and deeper into depression. I just wish I’d go back. Back when I woke up at 6:30 and sent him 20 messages and called him 6 times for him to come online so we could grind gta legit. We then fell into the act 2 glitch and I know that cutseen off by heart. I really miss those days man if only you could feel my pain right now. My mum I love her so much. That lockdown I spent so much time with my mum and dad. Going on bike rides etc and watching films and going out on walks. But I always will remember we spent hours and hours doing headhunters and those cash machine missions 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲 I, I just wish, every single day, that I could re live my life, and I wouldn’t change a thing, except taking things for granted. If my mum dies I will probably kill myself idk. But my dad… I want to be there for him but I’m not happy, it’s just the knowledge that I have peaked in life 😔 I’ve been at my highest. It only gets worse from now 😕
After 7 years i'm at stage 10, i love to help new players reach their goals more faster than i did back in the days when the only source of income was doing missions over mission for max 20k each
I remember my sweat stage as a grinder 🤣...staying on GTA 10-15 hrs to get money..but you right about the enlightenment stage because that's exactly where i am now. I just play for fun. I hit the rare 11th stage where the player decides to start the process all over again with a new account. Did it 5 times. I now use my alt accounts to harrass tryhards by messaging them or joining their game once they've blocked my main.
I've been playing this game since it first released and I can confirm I've been through most of these phases but i have never once been a try hard under any circumstance Edit: I love how Sans was just making random appearances throughout the video

I've played GTA story mode since I was a kid playing san andreas but I only recently had some friends get me into the online and it's a lot of fun. Between already understanding most of the gta mechanics and having friends take me along on heists with high cuts to get me startup capitol I feel like I got to skip a lot of the early stages while still enjoying fresh content.
This was pretty much bang on, im at stage 10 and have been playing for 8+ years, watching this video i really deeped it, all those years ive been playing to now where I just spend my money on cars, go to car meets, drive around and generally just mess about, part of me misses the desire to grind and save up for things and new businesses but another part of me is really happy ive been on that journey and can do what I want. Mainly I can just see the game for what it really is, a sweaty horrible cesspit full of social rejects and bashes and those few of us remaining just to have fun
I think I am in the 10th stage, I grinded a lot, became a PvP sweat, and nowadays I just enjoy the missions, and do fun stuff, although most of my friends got to stage 6 and left, and some are still stuck on stage 7.
I feel I’m at stage 10, even though I never quite found a “path” to stick to. I grind for a few days, then blow it while doing pvp, be broke for a long time while glitching heists for noobs etc. mostly grind just long enough to enjoy everything included in new dlc.
I hit Enlightenment in the first 2 years of playing the game. I've played since release. Just me and my friend would run entire lobbies and dry out servers 😒. It just got boring. So I focused more on just having fun and helping low levels. If they got cargo destroyed, I'd ask how much they lost, then run the Bogdan's to get them the money back they lost.
Playing as a beginner for the first time, exploring the city is the best gaming experience ever. Sometimes you try to live it again by startimg a new character, but it's not the same anymore..

This video was very nice made and almost perfectly showes the GTA Online life cycle...
BUT you forgot one stage. It´s the stage I´m curently in and it´s the true final stage. In this stage you have accepted the game for what it is, a buggy mess filled with tryhards and other a**holes. What people do in this stage is help lowlevels or noobs (most of the time these will be under level 50 because those players haven´t yet chosen the path they want to go). I help them out by inviting them into my Organizition and grinding money with them (I´m a grinder) or buy protecting them from other players wile they do open world missions. Another thing that will happen is that players get bored, so they try to learn new stuff (for me it was PvP because i sucked at it and wasn´t able to defend mine or others cargo and stuff like that)
And as we all know everything has a bad side. In this stage the bad side is that most people fight the urge to kill other random players. This is also were i think true tryhards are born. A side thing that i do is trying to speedrun difrent missions to see how fast i can get at grinding. In this stage some people even stop playing the game until a new DLC comes out or they create a new Caracter and start all new again. If anyone wants to ad to this stage just write theyr change under my coment.

You start off as Franklin ambitious but skill and penniless, you become micheal with money and only killing when necessary, the you become Trevor rampaging psychotic he'll bent on destruction and finally transcend into creepy uncle Lester who see and knows everything and is just along for the ride

I use to help lower levels. Until they started grieving cargo because that’s “the only thing fun” left in the game. I’ve found another new level friend that I’ve helped from level 30 to 80 he’s got pretty much everything you could want. And now is slowly turning into a sweat 😓 must be me I guess 🥲🥲🥲

Life was so much easier when I was playing gta5 with my best friends and our only worry in life was bad internet connection and staying up late trying not to get caught by our parents 😂🥺 I miss those days..

As a player who played for almost nine years now, with some breaks of course, I can proudly say that after being on level 3 I immediately went to 10. I started on PS3 when it was not so much to obtain so I felt really accomplished when I finally got my precious Hydra. Then I moved to PC where I am just to play new updates and help more and more of my friends to start the game. I have never felt an urgence to play as a griefer but I had few episodes with modmenu when updates where more occacional. Now I just gather money from every source so it wouldn't make me bored and I spend it on little sweets like cars and prettier interior. I feel as it is the best way to play online sandbox games and I wish everyone to find so much joy in the same simple gameplay as mine.

i think im in stage 7. im level 390 and at the moment i have more money in the bank than i've ever had before (50mil). my overall income in stats is something like 350-400 million last i checked. i don't even really care about buying more stuff or competing w other players at this point , that's how it started but it's beyond that now. now it's the grind itself that im hooked to ; i've gotta push it to the limit

One time I drove around for hours in free mode in a lowrider with Space 103.2 playing in the background just because I felt like it. I think I skipped stage 8 though since I mostly avoid PVP and I stopped caring about grinding altogether. I just mostly do whatever story/heist/business update gets launched and buy whatever vehicle is new just to add it to my collection. 70% of my time is spent on free mode organizing my vehicle collection and collecting my passive business funds from my safe. I haven't sold any of my business stocks like bunker, MC or CEO in months to years. All that shit just sits there. The other 30% is spent on online races.

Just so you know, you can automatically jump to Stage 10 if you give up on Free Mode and play all the modes Rockstar has to offer. I don’t just mean Adversary-I mean beautiful things like Capture, LTS, Survival, etc., and you will never grow tired of it, especially when you find a crew/server/group of friends willing to also start full matches in player created maps.
I was stage 10 well before many people. This is why I still play.
I’m just not stupid enough to waste my life grinding.

The best feeling is when you are on stage 10 and you take noobs under your care. I made several stage 6 players. After that. They choose their own path. When someone thanks you for making this game fun again you truly feel enlightened.

Landing into stage 10 after closer to 2000 hours of grinding was the best thing that ever happened to me in GTAO. When nothing really matters you can just enjoy the finer things in life in Los Santos, help n00bs, heist with your old GTA friends, do whatever you want and not feel a bit of pressure about it since you no longer have to prove anything to anyone and the bank manager called and said I need another bank account since the first one is full X-D

Hello there, I think you and I may be some of the very few who are actually stage 10. You sure sound like it. I could say the same about GTA.
I’ve played since it launched in 2013, and still play. Currently level 1030, with $200 million, a kd over 3.00 (not that it really matters, I know) and a lot of fun friends.
I purely still play for fun. I have every possession I could want to buy. I can make more easily but don’t even need to. I’m good at fighting with guns and vehicles but I’m fantastic at fighting as a pilot. That’s my main drive. I’ve always wanted to be one of great pilots of GTA and I am one. That sounds a bit cocky but after playing and flying for 8 years in GTA I’m sure I can say that about myself.
I feel just like you dude. I don’t know anyone like myself. Sure I occasionally meet high level players who’ve been playing for years but they’re all either kd warriors are harmless grinders.
I don’t know anyone else who’s reached the top and enjoys helping other people, you know?
Like give me a seabreeze and I’ll kick some ass or give me double money on special cargo and I’ll make millions. But also give me some friends and I’ll help them run a business, win a fight, or just join their car show or something.
I wish I knew more people at stage 10.
I have a few friends stage 8 or 9 but all they do is fly on mk2s and lasers, use godmode and orb spam, and dupe cars for money.
There has to be plenty of players like us still out there but I haven’t met any yet. Not for a long time.

to you, playing this game for a really long time, have done everything in the game, owning money that I couldn't even spent all of em, and yet having fun in online just to drive and observe other players
Used to have 1v1s all the time and got 10+ kd, but then get bored of pvps and started to enjoy the game again like driving around and helping new players, as this game had gave me that much, I think I should contribute to the community
But the online contents are updating too slowly that I finally decided to hop into singleplayer modding after like 5k hrs of gameplay i think
My friends are all around stage 8, yet they don't really use mod menu nor spamming godmode for kd, instead Im constantly using a mod menu just to mess with them, and sometimes messing with my car
Im still having a lot of fun in this game but I lack some friends like you, that sucks

That’s pretty damn cool. When you master your craft and become the best grinder and the best killer, GTA is just more of the same. What keeps it fresh are DLCs but also just seeing what others are doing. It’s fun to help someone else make money while cursing around in a truck or a car I don’t normally drive. It’s also fun helping my friends win a fight using something dumb like a mogul.
Not everything has to be done at 100% effort and power. It’s fun having options in freemode and being useful for anything going on. Both friends and enemies keep the good times rolling in GTA. Keeps people like you and me busy - now that we’ve seen it all.
I add anyone that friends me, even noobs, just to have someone to interact with. And it’s always funny when they react to my level, or how many cars I have.
Nice to see a veteran like yourself still plays.

Ive now reached Enlightment after being sent back to stage 6 and its depresion from stage 8 after being one of the unfortunate few that were mistakenly wiped after the ceo/garage exploit that most players took advantage of. It reminded me of what it was like to have nothing in the game but a complete understanding of it. I like to think of this set back as having reached stage 9 and accepting the true nature of the game and rockstars cruel and corupt ways. Accepting this helped me reach rank 120 in a matter of only 2 weeks although Those prier 5 years of progress are no longer on my playstation, they are now instead engraved into my soul.

Rockstar isn't corrupt. You decided to cheat and take the easy way out. I seriously doubt you are a rank 120 in two weeks. It took me over a year to reach rank 250.

My man, as someone who started playing this game as a fresh noob only a year ago, this is spot on!
Only thing I would add is how fucking bewildering online is when your only experience of GTA is story mode.. as a noob, you honestly have no idea where to start. The other, more experienced palyers have been drip-fed this stuff over the years, but a noob has to learn it all in one go. On top of that, is doesn't help that the game doesn't guide you through anything.

As someone who plays it from day 1. I can say i experienced everything. From replaying missions getting 20k before heists, to the first heists and the DNS codes era. MC businesses, bunkers, cargo you name it. All kind of money glitches, all out war public lobbies, mk2 infestation. Modders, cayo perico, everything.

I'm at stage 10 along with the three guys I consistently play with. We've been around since launch and been through all the previous stages in one way or another. We basically just mess around at this point. Today we played a sort of cat and mouse type game where my friend drove around in the world in one of his tuners while the remaining three of us tried to carpet bomb him with our RO-86 Alkonosts. This stage in the game is definitely the time where I've had the most fun in GTA Online.
Wow as a lvl 410 I would say I am at stage 10. For me though i had a different upcoming to the game. I have not perfected any specific skill. I am more of a jack of all trades. I enjoy every aspect of the game, from being a tryhard at times to racing to even grinding for money. I do all of them effectively at this point. I consistently come back and do all of those things because I love GTA 5 Online and the community. its a game ive never stopped playing, even after all these years. I am excited for the comingn years of this game along with the community. Thanks for reading my comment.
I am very similar to you my friend, as I am a lvl 405 and have always balanced the activities with my friends, forcing us to be good at them all, which kinda sucks when you are good at all, but master at none when you gotta go try your very best against a briefer on a broomstick.
@@Sniper_05 same im level 450 and havent played the game in about a year because i got everything i stopped playing after i got the program save wizard because now i could get infinite money essentially and it kinda ruined the game for me after i got all the money and modded outfits. Pvp even started to get boring so i stopped playing but i started to pick it up again an today it was nice to see all the new dlc buildings and vehicles it reminded me of the days where i would grind cayo pierco lol. Im hoping to start playing the game more again.

I've been playing GTA Online for 6 years and I wnt through all the stages but after grinder I just got to enlightment stage as I discovered the power of Cayo Perico
Oh boy,i still remember the day i created my character and landed in Los Santos, a world quite different from the one on story mode.
Had no clue where to start, what to buy first or how to even make money. I can't even remember how many times I grinded Rooftop Rumble just to get 20K+ which for that time was a good amount.
Fast forward to this day, 7 years later and rank 593 i have everything i ever wanted in the game, all businesses, all guns,200+ cars and a good 300+ million dollars in my account. GTA is a journey that still continues for me and i still enjoy it to this day!

As an enlightened pilot, i find at stage 10 these days i find flying the cropduster and Cuban 800 is so much fun than just getting on the usual fighters.
This is literally me. Iv been playing since 360 launch and i feel im on stage 10, countless hours spent 1v1ing in pvp and the search for every rare item/vehicle in the game over the years. GTA has given me everything it can offer me, and so i give back to the new players. I can truly say i am enlightened

Definitely in the enlightened stage. I stopped playing for a couple years at one point, but with new features and things to do in the game, it made me come back. I may not play it like I used to, but it sure is a lot of fun.
After playing this game for a while I found it to be the most fun to just play the game the harder way, like using a pistol more often, hide mid gunfight and snack and just suffer the npcs trying to humiliate you, do the heists the hardest way and spend hours trying to beat it with friends, learning to be as good as you can
I’m level 103 and I just got 2 of my friends to start play. I remember how painfully slow and hard it was to get money and grind for all the cool things. Now I can just do Cayo Perico and the Casino heist with them. One is level 38 and the other is 4. The lvl 38 just got the submarine so he will be grinding while I’m on vacation. Cant wait to see how far he’s gotten when I get back
It's kinda nice helping lower levels. Cause when I started i didn't have many choices to make good money but now there's so many ways and now that I have access to all these ways I like helping new players to get them money to start grinding for themselves

Been through all the stages. Started out by grinding out Rooftop rumble, the liquor store robberies, and then I started building up my ranks and friendships by doing RnG. 8 years later, I have done all the heists, became a degenerate PVP tryhard, then have permanently retired as an anti-griefer tryhard whenever I get a chance. Whenever I play gta online nowadays, I launch into an invite only session to just play with my fiancé, and we’re doing The Contract DLC.
RIP GTA PS3 servers. I happily made it to 456 before moving onto PC :’)

Oh boi.. i started playing gta like in 2015 when my dad brought me an xbox around christmas and bought us gta. At that point i didn't even had xbox live and tought that if i use a cheatcode it will stop me from doing missions (u know when you need to look for a getaway car, didn't even knew english at that point, i was like 10)... Man those were the days. My friend came over and played gta, lego, football, hide n seek all day long... And now here i am, an almost 17 year old guy just spying on people in online with an akula, sometimes grinding for vehicles and helping my friends :P

This couldn't be more accurate! Brings back memories of release when everyone was changing DNS settings on 360 and the by far most op thing was the rhino tank 😂 oh the times. I'm now a LEGIT level 604 i can relate to every single part of this video and agree 110% that this is the stages of a GTA online player!

Made Lamar's line in this new update even more depressing when he told you that he's the first person who introduce you to this world and gave the very first pistol for you. Now look at me man, at the very top and yet forgetting about the man who made me go through it all.
Nowadays I only play if there's an update coming, then taking a break if I've seen everything from the update. Making those comeback moments even more dramatic, to be back to face my criminal identity at San Andreas.

From day one to current day... amazing video, I still remember playing with friends, grinding, grinding and grinding money and now... destroying griefers and tryhards, helping other players and still grinding money.
I’ve played GTA5 for 5 years now.
I am Lvl. 139 (which makes me seem bad at the game, but personally I don’t think so.)
I began at stage 1 and played until around stage 3, where I gained interest in other games after I got bored because of the sudden surge in griefing.
I eventually came back after around 5 months after the Cayo Perico update came out, where I made a ton of money, which led to a relapse into the interest of other games, due to boredom.
Then the agency came out, where I completed the main contract and stayed away again for a small amount of time.
Between all of the events until now, I had an extreme craze over console milsim RP which led to me becoming extremely arrogant and dislikeable.
Now, I’m at around stage 10 where I do contact missions (as I didn’t do most of them at the beginning of my playthrough) and payphone hits.
I also use director mode and friends in private sessions to create films, one of which I have uploaded.
Overall, if you are in a stage 10 area, I recommend doing whatever makes u happy and if you feel like it, because it is easy and fun, make films.
This was brilliant! I'm only 5 months into GTA but 2+ years into RDO and find myself at peace in rdo just riding around doing things for little to no $$ and helping new players. In GTA I'd say I'm still perfecting my grind and learning how to fight back when hit by griefers...with nearly 10 years of content there is alot to explore!

This video covers everything about what player goes through. And you got all the damn details right. At first when I bought GTA I played story for a little then headed straight into online. I played GTA 4 online but when I hopped on this back in 2016 I had no idea where to start. I got killed the first few minutes and I was like ok with it. But throughout the years of me grinding and now having everything in the game. I truly love helping players who are new to the game or just don’t know how GTA Online works. Being at the mid stages quite suck but you get to the top stages easy if you put the time into this game. I’m between stage 10 and 9 depends what content comes out in this game. Great video man! 👍
I’ve played this game since GTA online came out. Through all of the friends that I’ve made I have none of them left through real life responsibilities yet I still cherish the funny/fun memories I made with all of them. This game where you can essentially do whatever you want whenever you want is a breeding ground for fucked up minds to connect. Idk why I’m putting it so deeply but this game very much resonates in my heart in a great way. Me being a level 442 rn 😂😂played since I was 11 and I’m 18 now. Can you imagine all the stuff I’ve been through not only on the game but real life? So much changes yet I still feel that sense of 11 year old joy when I play this game sometimes. Whether is landing a sick backflip on a motorcycle or a good get back on a griefer I still will always love this game for what it is. A colossal clusterfuck of all the things you want to do in life. Probably a little too drunk to actually mean this but I do love this game. This video reminded me of the good old days where I could scream and yell at strangers on the internet. I feel old but I’m not guess that’s a part of growing up. Jesus fucking Christ this is a journal page now.

I haven't been playing GTA5 online for that long (level 70) but I've been a consistent gamer since Atari and when online play became a real thing, you tend to build connections through multiplayer. Most never lasted but the shit was fun at the time! My first crack at multiplayer was F.E.A.R, on the 360. I talked so much shit during those matches and got mad cool with some of the most random ass people across the US. Usually just for the time we were playing our matches.

I actually can relate to these steps. I went through all of them (aside from learning the game because I knew a lot about the game before I even started playing it). I must say that before I used to do just PvP I was a quite a sweat and I've spent most of my time flying a lazer and just griefing the shit out of the lobbies. I played this stage since launch before even the ps4 edition content released, since launch I was a grinder and somehow I never really got through the stages 6 - 9. Instead I went straight to 10. I usually just play this game with friends nowadays just to mess around and stuff in private lobbies for the sake of not having to deal with griefers and it's truly more fun than I had in the past.

At this point, I've been at the final stage for a long time. I usually hop on to help my friends or have fun doing photoshoots or cinematics, I will return to doing grinding every here and there but I have every business in the game so it's at the point where I hop on to have fun and do my hobby now which is more photography and cinematics but I always look back and help defend new grinders.

I rarely play anymore, but I'm definitely at 10. I have every money making method unlocked, and lots of spare dollars in bank. I might as well play the missions I like, play the modes I like, or do whatever the hell I want in freemode with my huge arsenal of my favourite vehicles and tools of carnage.
Those of my friends who still play GTA are HC grinders. Their days go on Cayo Perico, not on a vacation, but to work. I can't see myself going back to that world anymore. The streets of Los Santos to me will be roamed for fun, not a job.

i enjoyed this way more than i expected to, and now im definitely sitting at stage 10, doing whatever i find fun, driving whatever wacky car i like just for the sake of doing so, random npc massacres for fun, chillin on a rooftop, police standoff on the pier, cruising to cruise, riding bikes, etc. The possibilities are only limited by what i find fun. as someone who got the game on day one before online was even a thing, i believe this is a really well structured and accurate take on the life cycle of a gta online player. you hit the nail on the head man, liked and subbed for this one.
I cant believe how accurate stage 10 is after all these years in warzone public lobbies, 1v1s, griefing, grinding, getting booted, etc I be just goofing around with friends in invite only lobbies now lol
The Sabre turbo at 1:48 was the first car I stole and customized just in black with blue decal, and I mean that exact car mods and everything that’s shown just in different colors

Def enlightened now I finally know what to call it everything bores me been playing since the start on every generation it’s released for n at this point I can do anything I want whether it’s in online or mods in sp like I just find myself bored and constantly searching for something new to get addicted to and grind for or complete but there’s like nothing besides organizing garages and making everything as ocd perfect as possible lol
I’m definitely stage 10 for sure. I’ve been playing for six years and managed to rack up 177 days of play time. I guess I’ve accepted the game for what it is and I enjoy having fun with my friends.

I’ve given up on this game. Even with friends, it’s always been boring. Killing people mindlessly, or grinding, even helping noobs or playing with friends, I’ve never enjoyed it, I’ve always wanted to play something else and I only stuck around because my friends like the game
im a mix of: grinding for everything, hating the games guts and have boredom, and helping other players start their journey (im farming cayo with a lvl 30 that wasnt stupid and attacked me during a business battle, literally only reason i decided to help him)
I've sunk around 1.1k hours into the game after starting in 2019 and I'm at around level 380, I went down the dark side and did money glitches for my stuff, because grinding just was never fun to me. My favorite thing used to be trading modded cars, cause I loved all the wacky combinations people would do, but now I'm at a mix of stages 9 and 10ish.
I do godmode and off the radar and act like an npc, dress like one, and whenever I see a griefer killing a low level, I just up and atomizer them to death out of nowhere, which is funny cause they don't expect it. I also really enjoy car meets and just helping ppl with heists since I've done all of them already. I have 10mil in the bank and own all the properties I care about and am at 160 cars due to trading, so I just take the smallest cut possible (0% on OG heists, 15 on newer ones). Another fun thing that I do is go around on a mk2 protecting cargo ppl in pubs. They always drive nervously when getting stalked by a mk2, but their cargo never gets destroyed. I love doing beach 1v1's, and RNG customs with people, even if I'm kinda bad lol (0.84 kd)
The game is fun when you have nothing you need or want anymore. I experience all the wild shit it has in the playerbase. I exist to do stupid shit like toreador bowling with people when they're in the middle of fights, the godmode npc like I said earlier, car meets, and hell I've even started doing gta rp's. This game is fun again because I'm done with the grind, I have everything I need and everything I want. LS is my playground, and I'm gonna do as much as possible in it.

You may have missed something. If someone who is godly at grinding gets bored, they could switch to pvp, opening them up to a new side of gta, giving them more things to do and look up for, and vice versa.

Dude this was one of the best gta vidz I’ve seen in awhile…Even tho there some moments where it was hard to understand some of the thought provoking realizations he was stating, I appreciate the time he put into making this and categorizing the 10 Steps! It’s super funny to listen to cause you obviously correlate your own journey on this game w/ everything he’s saying (even if it is in that Scowwish Sty AXXXENT-Jk it wasn’t that bad)
I’m trying to see what step I would be on in relation to his steps and even tho I think I’ve become a Full Jedi or I feel like every gta experience is comprised of now by me being Mr Miagi in Karate Kid as all I do now is explain things to kids, things like: Maybe you SHOULD jump into that black van when walking home from school as he prob does have access to loads of candy-Juuuust a joke ppl, or asking about their single mom who u can hear in the background & if she’s single cause she’s in her mid to late 30s lol…jk, I just get em to grab their credit cards so he can buy an “information drop”where I tell him about several clothing glitches & how to mug other gamers for $10k, etc that are surely to keep him entertained for hours or take him to Cayo Perico & make him lots of money or Give him some of my vehicles for a flat $30 fee + a Modest Gratuity of 85% Tip.
I have almost everything in the game and when u say that I mean vehicle wise I’ve collected all the Good-Awesome cars, Weaponized machines, etc…
In all honesty I’m probably at step 8, I’m rank 325 or something, I use to grind businesses every nite until Cayo was introduced now I just sell nightclub & bunker, but I’m not the typical gta’er as I’ve prob only done 20 or so races in 3 years of playing daily. I never play adversary modes of any kind lol why would u when u have fighter pilot jets to fly or tanks to troll around with, Mk2 depressors to take down by the most surgical methods possible…Chernobog Up on a mountain too far away or on top of maze bank, customizing ur Supercars w/ the belief that other gamers will see all the details and one day praise you for the decisions you’ve made and ridiculous amounts of money u put into it lol I have like 27 Garages in total and so it’s hard trying to pick out a vehicle…But I’m headstrong and decide on something!
No I kid a lot but I love this game but hate some parts of it. I have a crew I made a year ago or so and there’s 250+ members so trying to cater to them and still trying to find my comfort zone. Hate the pvp players that are too cringey to even fight with, the ones that don’t let u get kills cause they blow themselves up smh, they usually are found in the middle of the city on foot or on their stupid halo flying bike parking it on every rooftop to do their next douchebag tactical move in efforts to kill u-These nerds fight w/ bich tactics and force me to msg them stating the obviousness style of fighting they use-It’s how they’ve been brought up in life. No father, no foundation or respect for anything but Tik tok - I love the game. I like helping out ppl getting killed over and over - But like he stated in video, it’s hard to find these dirty azz players when u only know your style of fighting. Plus they’ve practiced sniping on a beach for the last 12 months so that’s always fun. It’s fair to say this is a 3rd person shooter game or fps I guess too if ur a Pyscho, unlike any other popular fps games, moving the characters around, switching guns is always a diff speed due to rooms server at the time, so fighting is still incredibly difficult if ur not a dedicated tryhard…Whereas COD gsmiing you could adapt to their controls in a week, well not on gta. My kd I saw recently was 1.9 and I’ve done a lot of fighting but I didn’t know that was decent, but still my skills need sharpening.

Im proud to say I've never grief'd others and have no intention to go down that path as I am all to aware of the negativity its causes the other player, its just not my bag. Honestly not sure where I sit on those stages, hopefully will reach enlightened without going down the path of being a compete ass hat. I have my businesses and my money making methods and enjoy what I do. It's quite sad that I tend to steer to solo sessions as there are just too many "bad" people out there who want nothing more than to spoil your day. Good job mate.
I’ve been playing for several years and this video is pretty spot on. I went from grinding simeon missions all day with 3x money and rp just to get a mil at the end of the day to having everything I could ever want and easily netting 5 mil on a good day.

im mostly at stage 10, i have alot of fun with all the things ive gotten by working hard, ive put over a 100 days into this game and have made so many friends along the way. I have so much fun when i play with my friends from school or even my online friends but when im alone i begin to question this game and how much it has changed for the better and worse.
i only just started playing gta online a couple days ago. yesterday i was doing some delivery mission in a seaplane, and i was coming back to the coast when some missile shooting jet ambushed me. idk what it was but it fired several rockets at a time, and i successfully evaded about 4 volleys by doing tricks, until i decided to try and land so i could make my escape in a motorbike or car. i landed and the seaplane rolled into a tree, exploding the plane and then i died lmao. gg, mr missile jet man, well played
I was never allowed gta until I was 13. Lockdown had barely started. It was may 15th 2020. The start of the best 6 months of my life, the grind with my best friend from school, we called ourselves the anti griefers 😂😭. We killed griefers (when we could 😭) and helped low levels with cargo even when we were only level 60 or something. We always just messed around. Vehicle cargo, stunt races, yacht battles, going to the park (irl) I was living the dream. It was warm almost every day, gta was some of the most fun thing I ever did. Then now things will never be the same my best friend who I played gta with no longer likes gta he hates it in fact. And I only play gta to remember the old days. Everything was better especially now I’ve found out my mum has cancer. My GCSEs (that I’m failing currently) are in 6 weeks and I’m falling deeper and deeper into depression. I just wish I’d go back. Back when I woke up at 6:30 and sent him 20 messages and called him 6 times for him to come online so we could grind gta legit. We then fell into the act 2 glitch and I know that cutseen off by heart. I really miss those days man if only you could feel my pain right now. My mum I love her so much. That lockdown I spent so much time with my mum and dad. Going on bike rides etc and watching films and going out on walks. But I always will remember we spent hours and hours doing headhunters and those cash machine missions 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲
I, I just wish, every single day, that I could re live my life, and I wouldn’t change a thing, except taking things for granted. If my mum dies I will probably kill myself idk. But my dad… I want to be there for him but I’m not happy, it’s just the knowledge that I have peaked in life 😔 I’ve been at my highest. It only gets worse from now 😕

After 7 years i'm at stage 10, i love to help new players reach their goals more faster than i did back in the days when the only source of income was doing missions over mission for max 20k each
I remember my sweat stage as a grinder 🤣...staying on GTA 10-15 hrs to get money..but you right about the enlightenment stage because that's exactly where i am now. I just play for fun. Try hards, griefers, modders don't make mad anymore it kinda makes my day more interesting 😂..but now i spend my time helping others make money or making money for myself...subscribed 💯

I hit the rare 11th stage where the player decides to start the process all over again with a new account. Did it 5 times. I now use my alt accounts to harrass tryhards by messaging them or joining their game once they've blocked my main.
I've been playing this game since it first released and I can confirm I've been through most of these phases but i have never once been a try hard under any circumstance

While I been through the 10 stages of GTA Online, I never hit rock bottom and don’t have everything that I want, but I’m still trying to get it.
I've played GTA story mode since I was a kid playing san andreas but I only recently had some friends get me into the online and it's a lot of fun. Between already understanding most of the gta mechanics and having friends take me along on heists with high cuts to get me startup capitol I feel like I got to skip a lot of the early stages while still enjoying fresh content.

This was pretty much bang on, im at stage 10 and have been playing for 8+ years, watching this video i really deeped it, all those years ive been playing to now where I just spend my money on cars, go to car meets, drive around and generally just mess about, part of me misses the desire to grind and save up for things and new businesses but another part of me is really happy ive been on that journey and can do what I want. Mainly I can just see the game for what it really is, a sweaty horrible cesspit full of social rejects and bashes and those few of us remaining just to have fun

I think I am in the 10th stage, I grinded a lot, became a PvP sweat, and nowadays I just enjoy the missions, and do fun stuff, although most of my friends got to stage 6 and left, and some are still stuck on stage 7.
I feel I’m at stage 10, even though I never quite found a “path” to stick to. I grind for a few days, then blow it while doing pvp, be broke for a long time while glitching heists for noobs etc. mostly grind just long enough to enjoy everything included in new dlc.
I hit Enlightenment in the first 2 years of playing the game. I've played since release. Just me and my friend would run entire lobbies and dry out servers 😒. It just got boring. So I focused more on just having fun and helping low levels. If they got cargo destroyed, I'd ask how much they lost, then run the Bogdan's to get them the money back they lost.

Playing as a beginner for the first time, exploring the city is the best gaming experience ever. Sometimes you try to live it again by startimg a new character, but it's not the same anymore..
