Ever since I started playing GTA Online I fell in love with the act of flight, especially the concept of Dogfight. I had eventually taught myself enough to be able to fight others, I had always been heartbroken and angered at acts of injustice that would often go wild and unattended in free mode, all the low levels and grinders who couldn't fight back. Ever since I got into Anti-Griefing videos, particularly ones featuring the Lazer, I realized I could be the one fighting back, I could be a protector. I eventually got bored, it had become not heartwarming to save others, but tedious and sweaty, PVP was no longer satisfying to me, grinding was becoming more and more nerf and boring in groups. Despite Rockstar's best efforts, and my own ambitions for a more solo-friendly GTA Online experience, I didn't realize that it was always my friends who brought me back to the game after all the sweaty PVP and exhausting grind. Playing with friends became more boring because we never had an incentive to play together anymore, the missions were fun, but there was no more a good cut for everyone. We always had different views after all, I wanted to go back to Air Combat, they wanted cars, start over, clothes, just fun times, anything. Solo missions made the game enjoyable, but they killed the whole Online aspect of the game. We now don't play to look for a purpose like before, we now look for a purpose to play instead. The game sure is fun when you start playing, and we definitely enjoy it still to this day, c'mon I have 4000 hours on GTA Online. But it's only a matter of time until the lemon can't be squeezed any more, I understand that, I expected that, but it's sad, this game means a lot to me, to my friends, to my view of the world, with all its flaws and age, I could not ever think I would have played it a different way I know this is probably too long of a comment for what is essentially a meme documentary, but I'm just feeling emotional right now, growing up really is hard after all haha. Thanks for reading.

Tbh I had the opposite outcome. After being greifed, I wanted to prevent other people from the same experience. Griefing is just a pointless part of the game. It’s not funny and it ain’t cool. I’m pretty sure the only reason the game encourages destroying cargo is to make players angry enough to buy buy shark cards.

The next three years, he became a griefer with modded outfits, though he still had friends. Instead of grinding and making money as he once did, he only was a griefer. He went out of commission in 2017 when the more futuristic vehicles were brought in and he decided to stay home for years. Now when I'm able to play in 2024? He's back to the partial tryhard he once was but is more of a grinder, seeking to gain money and hunting down griefers and helping noobs.

They lack important skills, and depend on op vehicles they recently bought. - Chicken griefers: Same as the noob griefers but with fear. They are aware of being non-skilled, therefore once they grief and see someone is a potential danger, they immediately hide inside apartments or leave the session. - Score griefers: These are the ones where once they see some sort of danger, they ewo (Killing themselves). They are like the tryhard version of "chicken griefers". They teleport when being cornered. - Tryhard griefers: These are the hardest ones to deal with. They always have skills on ground and often ewo. The skills they have are always on top in some weaponized vehicles. - Group griefers: The griefers with "friends". Sometimes you face one griefer just to face another or a whole group. Once they get bored of you or scared, they will choose to vote kick you. - Anti-griefer griefer: These are the fake heros. They are inspired by youtubers, but are too rushed to just kill anyone who seems like a griefer. When they lack skills, they use mode menus or glitches oftenly. - Modder griefers: The type where you have to leave the session most of the times. Once you mess with the a modder griefing, you can be aimbotted or trapped in a death loop. If angered enough, they will follow you in sessions you join, or try to boot you offline. - Exploit griefers: Using exploits to win a fight is their job. Most of them aren't that good in the game. They use the hardest exploits to deal and commonly being invincible. Once you counter their exploits, leaving is their best choice. - Booting griefers: Getting frustrated or angered lead them to choose real life threats. Booting someone offline is what satisfies them the most. Once a fight ends they will message something like "Say bye to wifi". Using a VPN is the best way to deal with them, and they will get mad like it's unfair. - Toxic griefers: Most of the griefers are toxic. Fighting them can lead to text messages of you being bad or some curses. Rarely they try to find your social media accounts to annoy you there. Ignoring them is the best way to annoy them back. Obviously there is many more types that I haven't mentioned. Thank you for the great video that inspired me to write this comment even though I am late.

I love griefers, they give the heroes a main objective to fight!
I just can relate that I saw almost each stage in many sesions, fortunately, I could sell my NC merch in a full sesion I was so happy after 2 years of just not selling in a normal public sesion
make more please i love ur videos
Me to a T. I’ve been in stage 10 for 3 years lol gta is therapy if you think about it. It gives you all the power in the world. It’s up to you
Didn't get 100K before 10 minutes? Bro fell off. (Amazing video, as always.)
I literally decided im gonna go some griefing and lo and behold homie has an upload for me 😈
You either die a casual, or you live long enough to become a Stage 10 Griefer
Trolling can never be removed because ngl it's a lot of fun to troll.
Love the persona music
The persona music at the start was hella distracting (also there were no adachi references)
I started gta online in 2014 and joined my cousins lobby to be briefed by his friends for over and hour, afterward I worked to become better than all of them at fighting, years later I got my payback but I’ll admit a lot of people suffered in lobby’s for me to get to the point that I could take on 5 competent players at once on level ground and I do apologize for any pain I’ve caused
Soul3ater, it's you, SOB!
