I hope & have prayed a storm or 2 will moves over your place to not only water your grass & garden but to also give you enough to fill your 3 water cube plus fill part of their duck pond. I'm afraid to say put Dabbles & his ducks are spoiled growing up in the clean clear garden pond. So it will be funny to watch them go into the duck pond the first time. This whole introduction & learning where to sleep, going up & down the ramp thru the smaller door, thru the gates to the pond. This will be fun to watch.

Lots of work moving them all, then watering, feeding, etc Do u own part of the field behind u?. If so, you could get some metal posts and build a fence to keep the chickens in then let them free range. Would be great eggs, lots of chickens to reproduce then enough to kill one for Sunday dinner when u have the preacher over...ha! I used to love watching MoMA ring their necks. She was fast and good. But, I hated plucking feathers. We were poor growing up, but, we had so much more than others. Moma and Daddy fed a lot of neighbors during those rough times in the 50's and 60's when I grew up. I'll tell you, I wish I could turn back time and do it all over again! We had big peach trees, apple trees...one for eating, one for cooking, one for drying apples for stack cakes. Yes, all the kids helped because we knew the rewards. Blessings ❤

They are not of a breeding breed. These are hybrid meat birds, bred to grow fast and they dont reproduce quality offspring.
