Today is the day we get the pigs. We'll be raising three pigs to put meat in the freezers. These are Yorkshire and Berkshire mix breeds bred for feeders. Also my turkey pair hatched out three ducklings that will hopefully be female and join the flock when they grow up. Lots going on here in Spring and so much more coming!

So many exciting things happening... new baby duck for mama Pam, Pigs arriving... the little meat peepers growing so fast,,, the ducks adjustment to their new home ... echopup and us being introduced to the new cows.... He may get over excited and not listen but he's still very good with the animals while he isn't listening, so ill take it, not looking for perfection.

You should look for a livestock vet, which is a vet who deals with big animals and birds. That vet will be able to help Jim a lot better.

Piglet names🐷 1.pb&j(peanut, butter & jelly), 2.snap, crackle & pop, 3.zuess, athena & apollo, :disney: 4.micky minnie& pluto,5. Peppa, george & babe(pinky). The disney theme has a bunch of trio names to choose. My fav is the PB&J. Or 3 muscateers, 3 stooges or star wars names! I loved the longer video! Such a busy time.

So good to see everyone this morning. Mumbles and her ducks were awesome on the ramp. The puffballs were so sweet. Lil Girl was just excited, she didn’t mean to be bad, trying to help. Those pigs are so small. The three little pigs, straw, sticks, and bricks. 😂😂 ❤❤❤ I love this one! Pam is an awesome mom and I love Jim’s devotion. You’ll need names for those baby ducks soon.

I’m so glad everyone’s using their ramp!!! Maybe some lattice or something on the sides could help prevent ducks from falling off, or going underneath when you’re trying to get them in at night!? (Just an idea💡😏 but it could scare them more though, so who knows?! Lol 😝) also, I’m thinking maybe u can try to distract Pam w/ treats the next time u want to check the peepers!? 🐥 (I know it’s best not to “bother” them much, but I would be SO tempted to see em every now and then!) 😝 SO many exciting things are happening at once!!!
