To clarify Gojo's initial power "Infinity" it turns the distance between you and him infinite. Trying to touch him while using Infinity is like trying to turn 1 into 0 through division.
It doesn't matter how much you divide your 1 by, you're never going to reach 0.
As for Infinite Void. He's literally forcing you to witness Infinity. It's like trying to fit an Ocean into a Shot bottle. That "bottle" is going to... break.
"More refined" is a VERY particular choice of words. How much raw power a jujutsu sorcerer has is pretty much set in stone. There is some degree of improvement that training can give, but the natural range far exceeds how much you can improve. You can think of how "refined" a domain is as a mental image or conceptualization of what that domain is, and whoever has the cleared image will win. Even a relatively weak sorcerer can potentially dominate the domain of a much stronger opponent if they have the mental focus and precision to do so.
And imagine how refined Gojo's mental power to even conceptualize the Limitless, that is, EVERYTHING, inside a domain.
Jogo is no slouch. One of the most powerful beings in existence at this point. He’s just still this far beneath Gojo that it’s hard to tell
Yeah, few if any Sorcerers would actually be able to beat him. Jogo is so stupidly strong that he'd kill most of them almost instantly, even that first strike would be deadly. Gojo is just built different.

Jogo isn't weak by any means. Last episode, Geto said he was about as strong as 8 or 9 Sukuna fingers. Now, maybe Geto was just being a bit generous. Maybe Jogo is a bit weaker than that. Or maybe he was telling the truth and he's actually a bit stronger than 8 or 9 fingers. Either way, he's one of the strongest curses we've seen. At around nearly half of Sukuna's full power. If anyone else had fought him, it probably would've been game over. But Gojo isn't just anyone else. He said fighting Sukuna with all 20 fingers would be tough but that he was certain he could eventually win. And we see that strength was no bluff. Gojo is so strong that he makes the strong look weak. So yeah. That's nice. Now we have a new curse who is tagging along for the ride. Enter: Mahito.

@@johndinner4418 They said that he was a sorcerer a thousand years ago (Heian era), but was then turned into the 20 cursed objects (his fingers). Cursed objects and cursed spirits are different things.
Both the anime and manga kind of just assume you realise that he isn't a cursed spirit. If you pay attention to how the abilities work, you'll also realise that he can't be a cursed spirit since he uses Reverse Cursed Technique (which is something that cursed spirits physically can't use).
Sukuna also distances himself from cursed spirits when talking to the Finger Bearer in the Juvenile detention center via the language he uses to refer to it and himself.
@@theokayishgamer If your finger is sliced off, is it an object or a being? That the fingers are cursed objects doesn't mean much to what Sukuna is. That he talked to the curse like that can still be attributed to the difference in level. Has it been said he specifically used RCT or is it inferred (I know later it is brought up again more clearly)?
Couple years ago I was living with some college roommates and I had never watched an anime before because I thought it was super cringey and weird. They told me they could get me sucked in to anime if I just sat down and watched 1 episode with them, this was the episode they played for me and I've been addicted ever since. Binge watched all of season 1 JJK and then all of Attack on Titan that was released at the time in like a week. Really should thank those guys for letting me experience peak fiction.
Remember that Sukuna isn't really a curse. He used to be human and was converted into a set of 20 cursed objects. It's easy to mix it up so I don't blame you.

Yes the analysis of Yujis training is using the emotions channeled into cursed energy. CE is negative emotions, anything from anger to sorrow to hatred. So he's having Yuji train to understand how CE feels by letting off CE while distracted, so it becomes second nature. That's why he was especially impressed that even when he was scared, the bear didn't react. Because now he's understanding CE and how to output it steadily
Basically, Gojo's domain expansion is an extension of his second cursed technique: the six eyes
It basically gives him the ability to see cursed energy at the molecular level, which not only gives him absurd and practically perfect control over his own energy, but also allows him to see the enemy's techniques long before they hit him
When applied in domain expansion, this technique creates an area of twenty meters and anyone within that area is endowed with the six eyes, but an absurdly more powerful version that basically makes the person in question see, hear and fell every molecule within that area as they move, interact, are created and destroyed, which basically acts as a form of sensory overload
Naturally, any normal human would suffer brain death in less than a second exposed to the technique, while curses and other Jujutsu sorcerers are completely paralyzed, making them easy prey

Domain expansions come with a guaranteed hit. They usually come with a curse technique imbued in it. Domain expansions are difficult to accomplish, that's why not all sorcerers can do it. Furthermore, it consumes a lot of curse energy. That's why it can only be done once in a day

The appearance of Cursed spirits is generally based on the nature of Cursed energy that feeds it. For example, Jogo (mountain head) is born from humanity's fear of volcanoes and fire hence he has a small volcano on his head, black teeth and has fire powers. Not all of the cursed spirits follow that rule but most of the strong ones and relevant to the story are.

As Gojo said few episodes ago. Curses are born from people fears. So basicaly strenght of curse is decided by what this fear is. How much people fear that, how primitive and overwhelming this fear is.

I love this show so much. Also the way the internet exploded after seeing Gojo without his mask was glorious. It did not matter if you were gay or straight, Gojo took your breath away. I mean we "all genders are a'go" were in from the start and this episode only made it worse, or better depending on how you see it. I really enjoy the way Gojos English voice actor is enjoying his part. It is different in some aspects from the Japanese voice actor but I love that they both really soaked up the feel of Gojo and are having a blast.

So, here's the thing about Gojo's Technique. Limitless is basically "math based" Space Manipulation. Sounds complicated, but it's not.
The "Neutral" Application, DIVIDES the space around him the closer something gets to him, essentially making an infinite amount of space exist between him and his opponents that they'd need to cross in order to actually hit him.
The "Amplified" Application, Blue, SUBTRACTS space. Basically, it attracts things similar to a black hole. This part of the Technique is how he warps. He "subtracts" all the space between him and another location.
The "Reversed" Application, Red, ADDS space. This is the push to Blue's pull. That's why when he used it in this episdode, Jogo went flying away.
another way to say how gojo infinity works is you can divide 1 by 2 infinitely and you will never reach 0

Idk about you but humans don't usually live for that long as far as this point in the anime goes.

as someone who does a first watch with sun the dub for jjk is hillarious but if you guys ever rewatch i highly recommend checking out the sub i’m actually in love with all their va’s but especially gojo’s 😭💕
