Gojo has two complementary techniques: the Limitless technique (also called Infinity) and the Six Eyes (his eyes basically). The invisible barrier around him which prevents anything from touching him when activated is the basic (neutral) ability of the Limitless technique. Red represents repulsion (so what blew Jogo away) and is another ability of the Limitless technique. There are more but we'll keep it at that to avoid spoilers. You'll see. Gojo's domain will also be explained later, don't worry.
And no, not everyone has a domain. Domain expansion is something only really strong sorcerers or curse spirits can pull off. It's the supreme expression of someone's power. And even then, you need a certain mindset to unlock it. Not all powerful beings have a domain. It'll also be further explained. Great reaction btw!
@Offisian The limitless technique as a whole is centered around the concept of infinity, so "Infinity" is just a casual way of calling it. It is not the name of the barrier specifically. In the French version of the manga, the "Limitless technique" is simply called "l'Infini" (Infinity) for example. The English JJK wiki page does appear to back up your statement tho, if it can be considered reliable.
Guys, if his techniques are not very clear now, then there will be episodes where they will re-explain the essence of his techniques. In addition, in the second season there will be a voiceover in difficult moments to explain complex magical techniques (thanks to the authors)😂😂😂😂
Not everyone has a domain expansion, or at least not skilled enough to make one.
But to explain gojo's domain, it basically overloads your consciousness & senses with infinite information. Cant think, cant speak, cant move.
His other techniques are quite complicated when explained in the anime itself but heres a simplified version.
Reversal red - repels space/which makes an outward blast
you probably havent seen these two yet but still: (minor spoilers i guess? but you wont really understand till you see it in action)

Lapse blue - attracts space, condenses it into a singularity/single point in space. similar to a phenomena of a blackhole.
Hollow purple - combination of red and blue. deletes space by crushing and repelling space at the same time.

I'm an anime only, but I think I have a grasp on Gojo's technique pretty well if you want to know. I've watched some videos on it cause I was confused lol. It gets explained a little more later on, but I still was confused.

@SxSReacts the movie will explain his technique a little, but the beginning arc of season 2 has the most comprehensive explanation. As you've seen, it's extremely powerful.
@@SxSReacts Gojo's technique is not explained in detail in the anime. If you really want a detailed explanation, then the mangaka, Gege Akutami released 5 pages worth of information on Gojo's technique and its capabilities. Although I would say, a simplified explanation is there in Season 2 Hidden Inventory Arc. More titbits about his technique will be provided way later.
Friendly advice, seeing you guys are watching from season 1: get a moderator who’s up to date with the show /manga to help go through your comments for you. It's not new to have weirdos spoil the show in the comment section. You guys have a pretty solid understanding of the power system and the overall plot… would suck to have this gem of a show spoiled down the road.

@@KrayzieStiles Although I think staying away from the comment section is the best route to avoiding spoilers, I just feel as content creators they'd want to interact with comments and shit just to build their platform. So I think it's a bit of a stretch for them to stay completely away from the CS but I agree it would be better that way instead of just “hoping” nobody spoils.

btw there is no solid explanation of his technique in the series.(the author explains it in a fan book but not the show or manga)there is information which is disclosed in how it works but not how he applies it. i'll explain how he applies what you've seen but not reveal what it is or anything new.
first there is infinity. you can think of this as him simulating an infinite distance between himself and everything else. the closer you get the slower you go until you move so slow it's indistinguishable from being frozen. and no if you're fast enough you still won't be able to get thru bc it simulates an infinite distance so you need infinite speed to go through it. gojo is completely untouchable
next is cursed technique reversal: red. red is a mass of negative energy and mass. think the opposite of a black hole. constantly violently repelling everything away from it instead of sucking it in
and there is his domain. unlimited void. basically it just overwhelms the opponents brain with 2.5 years of information every second spent inside. a regular person getting caught in it would take so much brain dmg in just 1 second they would be a vegetable for the rest of their lives
now if ur further along in the show you've seen this one(end of season 1)
imaginary technique: hollow purple
he merges both blue(attraction) and red(repulsion) into the same space. this creates an impossible and imaginary mass that should not exist. the universe tries to correct this impossibility by erasing everything that comes into contact with this mass from existence itself
this next one is okay if you're after season 2 episode 3
cursed technique lapse : blue. he creates a point of infinite mass(basically a black hole) that sucks everything it. this is what reversal: red is derived from. it reverses sucking in to pushing everything out. blue is the most versatile of all the his abilities. he can use it to 1 create the pseudo black hole i described 2 use it to enhance his speed. 3 use it as telekinesis. 4 use it to compress space time to travel through it like teleportation or a wormhole. and 5 he can use it to strengthen his punches. my understanding of how 5 works is that when he punches his enemy gets pulled towards his fist so it makes it hit harder

10:56 basically gojo character is inspired by "BUDDHA" when use he use his domain that person can't do anything because only awakened or enlightened one can move in gojo's domain. In season 2 you can see him getting enlightenment while fighting with T**(no spoiler).

The author of this show said this is inspired by Naruto. U got a very powerful Kakashi (Gojo), a nice Sasuke (Megumi), and a similar Naruto kind of with a very brutal Karuma (Itadori) and useful Sakrua (Nabora). I got into it instantly because it remind me of Naruto

@@SpiralFlip yeah, probably because the author Gege said that JJK has a lot of inspiration from HxH, mostly the power system. Naruto inspired mostly story.

Gege literally never said this lol. Gojo was inspired by urahara and tobitake tonbo, not kakashi. He even discussed this with kishimoto.
