Can you make a video of budget headphones with better mic. Actually my main focus is on a better quality mic but attached to headphones.
I am using JBL and the mic noice cancelling is even worse than any cheap headphone. However, the audio quality is good. I am also searching for a headphone cancelling surrounding noice for me while I am speaking. Do you have any idea on that?
This is a good model been searching for a good noise cancellation mic. I don't really want noise cancellation in my speakers. But it seems that all models are now focusing on that Nobody cares for the mic. I want noise cancellation in mic so the other person cannot hear background noise in zoom calls and also my fan noise that is just above me.
I have avoided bluetooth for the same reason you have mentioned i have all wired stuff only now with Jio fiber for my mom I am keeping the wifi on else I connect my Laptop with the Lan.
But what I found is almost all models(expect for some really reasonably prices Sony HP and Phillips headphones) have an aux cable. So you can switch off bluetooth and use it on wired mode.
This is why I started looking for wired ones.
I am looking on for a good mic like I mentioned so background noise is not heard and I want over the ear big enough to fit my entire ear i have big ears.
In Bluetooth there are many with aux but either the mic is bad no focus on noise cancellation or the Noise cancellation feature does not work with aux as the noise cancellation feature generally uses a secondary mic to detect background noise and cancel it from the mic output and the Aux is connected only to one mic and some models it is not connected to Mic at all.
During Zoom meeting If I want I can switch to bluetooth mode and take a toilet break if I need too. Sometimes classes are 3 hours.
So for the first time i am going to use Bluetooth but if I get the feature of aux where the noise cancellation works then I will be using bluetooth only when I need to move away from the pc laptop.
Rest of the time I will be using it wired and also outside of the zoom classes I will use it wired only.
But i cannot find a decent one with the feature I am looking for a reasonable price. They are all priced above 5K and from 4K to 8-9K models the reviews say that the mic is not good. The models/brands I have seen where everything is there and the mic is good for calling is above 12k. This model also has a wireless version but it costs 8000 rupees and I tried to find if it has aux but then I gave up cause I won't by 8000 K headphones at the moment.
I would prefer it to be under 2K but max 4k as I want to buy a much more expensive headphone in the future.
Thanks for the write up.. I was surprised to know when my pedestal fan noise was not heard in the meeting , only that time I learnt that it's a noise cancelling mic too. And, the speakers aren't extreme noise cancelling like the bose headphones where it has a button to enable noise cancelling which creates like a vacuum which is too much for me .makes me hear my tinnitus noise so loud..So I feel this is the optimum noise cancelling on the speakers

I am using JBL tune 760NC with aux cable...but the mic doesn't work... The mic works only when I select 'mic in' option, but can't hear anything, only the mic works....
Hey, does it have ANC (active noise cancellation)? not on the mic, but in the sound of the earpods. I want to cancel all the background noises to be able to listen what the other person is saying. My option one would have been the soundcore q45 for the ANC matter, but I don't like that the mic is integrated, I'm looking for headphones that have ANC (to listen and to speak) AND a boom mic.
Yes even without anybody speaking I don't hear anything from outside if I wear this. I just checked the description..it has ANC

My experience:-
1) Average sound quality despite the brand JBL
2) wire length is so short
3) Very very very poor noise cancellation and it didn't make any difference whether you detach mic or not ..
4) mute / unmute not working at all
Please go for redgear Cosmo 7.1 and avoide this its a complete Trash

Yes it cuts the background noise like I have a pedestal fan and people in the meeting said they weren't listening any background noise but with other headphones they said they were hearing some noise

Hi Azhar, great review of the JBL head phones. I wanted to know if you have tested this with Zoom/Teams/Google Meet calls. I wanted to know if there is lag or latency in attending such calls. I am sure it works well for phone calls. I mainly want to use it for WFH set up.

Hey .. it's specifically made for wfh or remote meetings.. it doesn't have any latency or lag.. never faced such thing.. I use it for WebEx , teams and zoom..never faced such issues even in loud background

I bought this one to avoid further damage of my ear . If I put my ear in headphones I still feel something on my earlobe, whereas this one doesn't give any feel like that..so I avoid using ear in headphones anymore

Not really. But doctor suggested to forget that it exists and that helps. Whenever I feel I have that I hear the noise or else I think it’s not there
