Game is actually much harder than it seem in the first tutorial dungeon because the time mechanic (which doesn't exist in this first dungeon). Enemies get stronger as time passes so you basically have to rush to the boss (but not too fast because you want to grow) and can't go back and forth because wasting time means enemy gets much stronger. It makes this game actually much trickier and harder than other card roguelike by a mile. Balance is also kind of whack, lifesteal in this game is exponentially much more powerful than other keyword since you can easily take a lot of damage with no way to heal. It's definitely a roguelite btw, not an rpg. Just clear the new area that isn't the first tutorial dungeon and you will get it, the tutorial dungeon really doesn't tell you about the game enough.
Lifesteal is good, but you only find it on terrible cards. It's much easier and effective to take down the enemy without it being able to strike back as there is no good way of making lifesteal more effective.
what a surprise to see this game here! I helped on the production, as a translator consultant. Chinese friend of mine on discord asked for a few tips while he was translating this to English. Wasn't much, but I'm glad to see they kept some of the terms I suggested.
@@Maric18 I've only touched up on a few things my friend showed me, translation wis, like the Swift Dragon. Apparently they're a small team, and only one person could speak English.
@@Ankhtowe lol I definitely did not do that. I'm shocked that someone would be offended enough to leave a snarky comment days after the fact. Why do you bother? If you hate it so much, leave a negative steam recommendation. There's no recourse for your complaining here.
I was hoping you would try this game when I saw it come out. However after watching this video I have even less understanding of what it is trying to do. 10/10
There's an incredibly similar game, that is a bit more in depth and has been out for a while. Called Devil's Deck. Seems like this game took an incredible amount of inspiration from that. Also even though reviews are mixed there's a LOT of content. And it's been in a great state for a while now.
I played Devil's Deck in the past myself, and completed almost everything it had to offered. I do wish one day it will come back with a new DLC pack or something so that we have something to look forward to for the game, since its last update was over a year ago with a DLC and its developer must have took a long vacation from development or abandoned the game again for whatever amount of time.
So I tried the game and it is meta progression based difficulty. The game has a lot of artificially added play time to overcome this barrier and that makes you repeat a lot of the same fights. Not sure if it is my thing.

That’s helpful, after watching this I was like- another generic card battler roguelike. Glad to hear it has a twist in there.

The tu-troll-ial was fun
Ok, looks strange, but in a good, Inscrytion type of way! Bought it.... so thanks for trying this out for us!
@1:07 “Heh. He can’t even control cards.”

Feels like all we've seen so far is the tutorial, hard to make many assessments on the game from that. Seems interesting enough.
I got this one as well. It has some odd translation issues, but it's quite fun, and hope you play more.
I haven't smoked weed in years, but that tutorial brings back some memories haha!
Game reminds me a lot of inscryption but without the intents

Cross blitz inscryption. Neat.
Best tutorial ever.
Interesting, but it can get difficult to tell what things are poor translation and what are intended to evoke spooky glitchy vibes.
The game reminds me of He... I mean Ru... ummm Slay the spire?
This game sure does look like He-... Runeterra. xd
a man of culture
Play more pls ;-;
Want to hear about Jesus
