    Hi,
    Xpulse owner here
    Matte Grey Fi
    2000+ kms
    Max speed clocked - 107
    Mileage-42
    Best for Indian roads
    Superb shocks
Built quality is good except the silencer guard and knuckle guard.
Experienced heating issue near right foot during long commutes and a clicking sound after when the engine is turned off.
Very very slight vibration after 95.(Handle bar and foot peg)
Major breaking issue experienced whenever front suspension is compressed.
Headlight look is good but performance is mediocre, straight light is just for namesake. Must depend on aftermarket stuff.
The look of the pillion section is not that great, looks like platina, discover or glamour (Alterations recommended).
Mirror view is fine. Instrument cluster feels like a full course thali, well arranged and readable in any light.
I'm 5'4 and haven't faced any issues while city manoeuvring in busy cities even during peak hours. Adjusting back monoshock setting to 1 helps a little.(could be done by ourselves, but be ready to get your hands dirty).
Seat is stiff and long rides might give you numb bum.(upholstery visit recommend)
While driving over muddy patches, front tyre splashes dirt on the shin area of your pants. Normal if you are offroading but not a great impression you would throw if off to office.
Overall a budget friendly premium bike. More powerful than impulse and easy to handle than Himalayan.

I have an avenger which i use for office commute and the average ride distance is 45kms back and forth however considering the road conditions I was looking to get xpulse for daily commute and some weekend off roading. My major concern is would it serve the purpose of daily commute to office as well, as I would like to use it for everyday travel and not just occasional wandering. please suggest

Dino, congratulations!! You always say good about almost all bikes & enjoy your riding, that makes you unique. My observation after test ride-Tall and upright, good on potholes and breakers, very good in fact. Not that much punchy, takes a lot of time to speed up. Seats are ok. For pillion rear upswept exhaust might make a problem. Not much space for pillion. Overall fun to ride.

  • @krishhvlogs5

There are lot of areas of improvement.....
1)There is no cooling system, neither liquid cooling nor oil cooling.Hence, long distances are harsh on engine. No off-roader would take a bike to off road in a truck,we need to travel more than 200 km to find an off-road,a cooling system is must for this.
    2)There is no 6th gear
3)Struggling a lot even at normal speeds of 90+ km/hr,4 valves can be an economic alternative to the issue.
4)A little more power is a must, learn from Bajaj NS200.
    5)Tubeless spoke wheels are required

Excellent review dino bhai. Is it stable at high speed say 95kmph? I Currently own a Suzuki gixxer 150 and I am planning to change my bike. So just wanted to know which one is better xpulse 200 or himalayan? Mostly I ride in city as well as highway. Please suggest me one

In Nepal, if local dealer launched the hero xpulse at reasonable price tag, then it definitly beat the other off road bikes, which comes with a higher price tag & lower power performance
