Honda hero pulse 200cc review by a biker with over 45 years of riding all types of motorcycles.
I recently bought this bike in Goa India 24.12.19. I have covered 1000 kms in that short time. Todays date 18.1.20.
It's a fantastic trail bike suitable for on and off the road. Iam used to larger motorcycles with more power. But the 200cc is almost ample for the roads here in Goa. The brakes are good the bike is nimble, and the riding position is perfect. Solo riding is probably the best way too ride this bike. Overall the bike performance is reasonably good. The off road capabilities are good and depending upon your riding ability, the bike can handle all sorts of terrain with ease. I would love too race this bike against other competitors at a motocross race, so if anyone can tell me where there is a race close to Margoa Salcete Goa I would be grateful, if anyone can let me know.
    Cheers Mik UK.

One small mod for highway cruising, the T model has a smaller rear sprocket, put that in this and the gearing will become a little longer. That betters 2 things- the first gear will not be too short and second , you can cruise on higher speeds.

    Hi @BuluPatnaik
Just wanted to know how is the suspension on normal Indian roads? Is it too stiff/hard or it is good and takes all small and big potholes?
Reason for asking this is.. I have lower back issue. I'm thinking of getting this bike for daily commute and once in a while for touring. Off-roading is not my priority but commute on our Indian roads are not less than off-road trip. So to overcome my lower back issue I m thinking of buying Xpulse 200.
Would it be a worth buy?
Also what is the average it gives on city roads with moderate to heavy traffic?
Last question: Are hero thinking of coming up with newer version of 200

Nice observation at 3:00. That cut on chasis at exhaust is present in many Hero bikes. Ex:Xtreme, Hunk etc. Very weird.
Logic is when its a diamond fram and Hero has taken Unicorn engine for Xtreme then why not work on chasis cutting issue when theres no cutting in Unicorn. Million dollars question for me.
As you have pointed out correctly, Xpulse is not made out of scratch. Hero might out have just used Impulse parts and structural design.

And you opinion weighs more than those 5-6 reviewers. Cudos. Yh, i too think that we can use this as a special trail or off road bike but not as a main bike for do everything stuff. i think this will throw big challenge to auto industry in India to bring such bikes in market.
