During my youth I spent many winter and summers there. I just loved it! Actually I work for the Punta Princesa restaurant for only one season and nothing but skiing all day! Talking about skiing, on that type of racing skies 5 cm shorter just will get quicker under the foot, little bit more unstable at high speed, that's it. Alohas from Maui!
Aloha! The skis are definitely quicker and less stable when going fast, but I'm still very happy with them. Catedral is a great resort to have spent so much time - you're very fortunate! Such beautiful scenery and friendly people. And the empanadas at Punta Princesa were so good. Glad that they just received some more snow!

Haha! Well now you know. You might actually be in one when we were digging. The high camera is a 360 camera and records everything. What were you wearing and do you ski or board? Could go back and take a look!
They definitely have some accommodations close to the lifts, but not as many as some of the larger resorts in North America or Europe. The lift ticket cost ranges based on the time of year, but you can expect to pay a little under $100 USD per day for a week in the high season.
