Another awesome vlog with awesome tunes! Snowboarding was the first holiday I ever did on my own. Could stop me for years after that! Unfortunately getting older and a family has scuppered me getting away even once a year but love the mountains and snow would happily go with my buddies if I only rode for one day. Hope you get some pow later on your trip 🤞🏼🙏🏼✌🏼
@@SearchofSnowboarding For sure, it's like getting a fix! But I was never as good as you are! 😂 Love the pow pow though so hope you get some and I can watch! 🤞🏼
Hi nice vid..the bidet next to the loo is for washing lady bits 😁have fun shredding I'm off to Hintertux Austria on 10th October you should visit if you ever get to Europe ..open all year
I was in Bariloche Argentina last year and it’s so underrated! Although it wasn’t the right season for snowboarding there was absolutely stunning scenery and I think something that must be mentioned is how CHEAP everything is! If you can make the 3 hr drive north to San Martin I highly recommend. There are more resorts along the way and it’s a beautiful drive. Cheers man enjoy!
Yeah I was blown away, especially driving down Route 40. Wasn't able to get any more North than Bariloche, but that will be on the list for next time like Las Lenas
It's not so cheap anymore (for foreigners at least; for us locals, it never was) as it was last year or earlier this one. The exchange rate wasn't changed (yet) but inflation accumulated on all those months, so right now it's not the cheap paradise it used to be.
@@gorsh7870 Damn Im sorry to hear that. Nonetheless your country was absolutely gorgeous and I plan to be back again no matter the costs! People are also super hospitable too
dude awesome place, awesome people, def hit La Laguna. the back bowl (more of a side bowl) of Bariloche, the hike up is easy and you end up on the trees and back to resort, pretty fun and easy, you''ll have a blast!!! if you're still there
In fact (lesson number one), it's not "Mi perro nombre es Scout", that's too 1-to-1 from english in terms of word order. We'd say "mi perro se llama Scout" or "El nombre de mi perro es Scout". Greetings from Buenos Aires! Hope you enjoy the remaining snow...
I just rode the first two weeks of September in Argentina, at Las Leñas, further north. Sounds like how you described Catedral conditions wise. I had a two week pass for $500, and I only spent $600USD the entire two weeks I was there. I had a 5 bed condo 500ft from lift chairs. It was blue bird everyday except one, and we had two days of pow from that. The upper mountain has perfect snow the entire time at 8300 meters, and the lower mountain was spring conditions I’d call it. My only gripe is Argentines don’t understand lines, and they’ll constantly bang your equipment from behind, throw their skies right down on your board behind you and stomp in, bump, bump, bump, all the way to the chair. I brought the Aeronaut and the Orca, so I wasn’t all about disrespectful Argentines smashing my equipment calling it, “culture”. That was my only issue, that and getting to Las Leñas wasn’t so easy, as it’s very remote unlike Bariloche. Did you rent a car while you’re there? What’s the lift ticket prices? Should be low season prices, no? PS, it’s: el nombre de mi Perro es Spike (or whatever it was, Scout). PPS, ask about the azul exchange rate! It was 1300 to 1 when I was there last week. The official rate was like 985 to 1. If you can get the azul rate, everything will literally be a third cheaper. Otherwise you’ll get bumped rough in the rear at 985 to 1 because then everything else os ridiculously expensive. I bought 300 grams of jamon crudo and it was 19,000 pesos. 300 grams is like one breakfast with your eggs. It’s nothing. Total Rip off! Make sure you eat a bife de chorizo once, a morcilla sausage, and mollejas!! Go to a parilla restaurant!! For sure!!
Yeah I had a rental car because I wanted to check out some other zones. I think Catedral was about $120 usd a day and they don't have any deals on passes for multiple days
@@SearchofSnowboarding whaaaaa?! Brah it was $36 a day at Las Leñas, and 2 week pass came out to $500 something if you got the blue rate on exchange. That’s crazy expensive for Argentina, $120?! I only spent $600 in two weeks on food and it was all steak house restaurants every single day!

@@SearchofSnowboarding once you try the bidet (typical in Argentina) is difficult to go back to not having it, difficult to feel "clean" again hahaha.
You should link up with Casey Willax comes winter. Your energies would mix well and riding levels are similar. Yeewww
Always down to link up with the other homies in this space

What an epic video. When u finished your 2 weeks there was there still a lot of snow left? I’m planning to go in 1st week of October.
there's snow but the season in bariloche ended yesterday, maybe Cerro Castor in Ushuaia is still open
Yes and it actually snowed right after I left. It's definitely the end of their season now
Subbed! Would you mind sharing approximately how much a trip like this would cost?
Thanks dude! It was around 4K

What camera do you film with?
DJI Osmo Action 4 and GoPro Max
0:24 was that pun intended or unintended?
Wow, no actually. Didn't hear that until you brought my attention to it
Wondering why you chose to ride the bsod and not your mega death?
BSOD bombs a little harder and feels more sturdy in variable spring snow
