@@TxKiller love it. It’s wild you mentioned the 16” .308 , same, now that I have been living here in South Carolina I realize that set up would be ideal for hunting hogs here. The woods are so much more dense than our west. I’m never really needing my 65 Creedmoor distance.
What kind of scope do you have on there now? You said a “thermy” like a thermal scope or is it the brand? That may be a stupid question. I too have a zero MOA base on my AI with a Steiner scope and can push out to a 2,000, don’t always need the 20 MOA base
Nice stick! I went the other direction on chamberings, been through several .308s but just sold the last one a few months ago as I found I preferred 6.5 for pretty much all my uses. I don't night hunt, and do a lot of my shooting at longer ranges though, so different applications I suppose. Out of curiosity, what made you go with a Hardy over a Proof barrel? I don't think I've seen a Hardy in person, but Proof CF barrelsseem to be everywhere these days.
W R That’s the reason I went Hardy, everybody is running Proof! So I wanted to go a different route 😉. Personally I don’t think I’ll do carbon again the price is ridiculous with very little advantage.
Yeah I know that’s how manners does them, but they offer different color patterns that always look different in person then they do on there website, so I was just curious as to which particular pattern manners calls it
That is a sweet set up you have there! You might check out “Outdoor EDventures” on TH-cam. He’s a Texas guy, like us, and a hog killer, but he’s really into the science of hand loading 6.5 Creedmoor rounds. He can surely offer you some suggestions. Side Note...what’s with the channel name change?
That set up is absolutely beautiful.
MakeMyDay44Mag Thank you
That's a sick looking rifle Brother!! If it shoots as good as it looks I bet it's badass!!!👍🏻👍🏻
Simpson Rd Larry Thank you

That rig is badass! Great video
camoman187 Thanks
LRI has built 2 rifles for me and both shoot 0.3"-0.5" groups at 100yds. Those folks know what they are doing.
Great video! Beautiful setup
Kenny Fishell Thanks Kenny
Sick rig
California Bassin TV Thank you
Your total subs right now are 6.5 😁👍
Silent Russian Lol perfect 👌
That's beautiful rifle
You're pretty good young man
Excellent video, beautiful rifle. Is the title accurate? Isn’t a PVS30 night vision? Not thermal?
Thumbnail pic bud, vid is with a thermal. That rig is setup with two different optics.

A Pinned and welded 14.5 or something would be badass. I run a 16 inch 308 it’s so handy. Shorter is better.
Excellent

It sounds like he says the rifle has a thermy on but I believe he means thermion as in a pulsar thermion
@@jonahc. thank you!
Hardy seems like a good company, unfortunately they are in NZ. Is there a US distributor for their stuff?

Oh I want a thermal scope bad lol.
fathertimenc It’s addicting

Nice
good lord have mercy please
Keep up the vids 👌🏻
John Hernandez Thanks for the feedback
That's hot
Beautiful. How much does it weigh?
Born Again With a loaded 5rd mag and the thermion 10.2 lbs exactly.
a.amantine wow thanks for the information brother.
Born Again Thanks for watching
I can't find the trigger on triggertech.. all of theirs are curved. Any suggestions?
make more videos as this one..
What branch of the Thermometer are you using in this rifle??
So you say we use it , what's the name of your company
🤮🔥🔥🔥
I’m about to do a 20 inch 308 with the same stock and a proof carbon fiber wrapped barrel. Do you happen to know which Camo pattern is on your stock?
Lonnie Cox sponge. Seriously, it’s blotted sponge
Yeah I know that’s how manners does them, but they offer different color patterns that always look different in person then they do on there website, so I was just curious as to which particular pattern manners calls it
Lonnie Cox I’m thinking that’s a Long rifles inc special color, but closest manners color to it would be swamp.
Lonnie Cox Elite swamp, there’s a few out there but Manners doesn’t have it shown on the website.
The way the US is going well may want to reload and keep the brass close by
What’s the twist rate?
What mount height do you use to co-witness with nv on the badger?
Clay toole 1.47 - 1.5”
a.amantine thanks for the reply!
