When you are in prison many things are paid with cash. The money is sent from someone outside to a green dot or cash app or another person. They put it up or on your books. you got scolded and not informed ….but that’s how it works and as a gang leader or key holder you get a piece of any action those under you make in jail and often when they get out so at the top of the food chain he was probably making 100k plus on a regular basis.
