I got one last month (AT), exactly the same color as this one (Bohol branch). I was disappointed that it didn't come with a backup camera and I had to pay an extra Php12,000 installed. It also doesn't come standard with GPS. Now my question is, are we able to integrate a GPS unit with it's onboard LCD system? I should have asked this before I paid for it (excited to get the unit and forgot). Now the dealership is closed because of the ECQ and there's nobody to ask this question to, so I'll just ask it here. Any answer/suggestions will be much appreciated.
di sulit ang GL grandia..sa 500k difference, kaya mo magcustomize ng commuter na mas maganda pa kesa sa grandia..sikip ng ng grandia eh bwisit rin sakyan..maganda siya masarap sakyan kaso masyadong maliit upuan..need mo ng comfortable na upuan..sa 150k may captain's chair ka na...gastos ka pa 100k para sa grandia mags at paint... 100k para sa sounds..may 150k ka pa maiwan para sa reuph ng loob at ayos ng vents ng aircon...
Not the same. The GL grandia side panels are made up of hard matte/gloss plastic compared to the commuter's bare metal. The infotainment system in the GL grandia is also LCD with the android OS. It also has parking assist sensors, and comes with an automatic transmission. A plus when driving in city traffic. There are also USB charging ports in the second and third rows. The seats are nicer, and it comes with a center console. Kung mag "customize" ka man lang, just go for the GL grandia, you will not regret it. I was going to buy the commuter variant and just add a few stuff, but I decided na mag GL nalang to avoid all the hassles.
Commuter deluxe doesn’t have a LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL which is very important in a van.....without this during a rain or slippery roads you have a high chance of getting turtled or prone to accidents so why waste 500k for customization.....safety over customization....

Not yet perfect. Not worth for the price. You know why? Because no vents for the 3rd and 4th row seats. Philippines is in hot region especially during summer. Toyotas R and D still don't realize the reality which the UV express installing the annoying and aukward extra fan at the mid portion of the van.
Mas ok pa nga ang commuter eh. Tapos kung gusto na komportable palitan nalang ng lazyboy yung mga upuan. Sa halagang 1.5M tapos add ja mga 200k aa mga lazyboy di 1.7M lang. Mas maganda kana ngayun kesa sa 2M plus na GL.

The current AC system is cold enough to reach the 4th row and brings the temperature down quite well. Used our GL grandia during the hottest days of summer with about 10 people on board and it was still ice cold. :)
john lee Sir, you got it all wrong. It’s 176Hp and 450 NM of torque . There’s no such thing as 150nm of torque. I don’t know did you get that figure. A 1.5L petrol engine produce a lot more torque than 150..
@Shadow Hedgehog actually hindi naman. sometimes sadyang bobo lang ang mga pilipino dahil sa hindi pag sunod sa mga rules and regulations. we can't always blame the government or the system. we should also reflect on our actions.
95% of drivers, walang education, basta nakapasa lng sa exam.. lol.. wala kasi tayong libro nito nun pagkuha ng lisensya.. sa ibang bansa may libro talaga sila, para sa exam
