I was given this system/monitor/speakers about 10 years ago and upgraded it with 2 gigs of ddr 400, and an MSI nVidia 5950. Got a good 5 years out of it before I went with AMD Phenom X4 960T for my next build.
There is a similar Vaio desktop in my area for 65usd. Comes with some beefier Sony speakers with sub, the same monitor, mouse, and keyboard. I'm so tempted to pick it up. I'm really nostalgic for this period as I only ever had a Celeron dell with PCI slots lol. Also found a 6800gt for $25. I wanna low ball em both as it's untested. I know it would just sit in my closet though 😅
Ya bro - I have a similar model - not sealed but almost-complete (no speakers) with the unique monitor as well and keyboard / mouse - I love it !! Lucky find good for you !
So! I am having trouble. I rebooted it soon aftermaking this video and am having issues. I'm waiting to make a copy of SpinRite so I can try and save the HDD and make the recovery disks. Yikes!
This was our first Family pc thanks to my brother beginning his IT career , we had the baddest pc during its time. Awesome memories
Vaio's are nice machines, I wish Sony was still making pcs

This was my first ever PC. I remember it was my dads PC then he gave it to my grandad and then he gave it to me.
I use mine in the garage as a audio transfer device and live podcast recording.. with that Firewire - I have a mackie mixer with firewire out.

Mine just died i had this for almost 18 years .. now i need a new computer
Sony actually called those FireWire-looking ports "iLink" so as to not confuse it with Apple's branding.
If your prebuilt PC didn't come with proper sound drivers in 2004 you didn't get to hear this music on start up.
Good for retro gaming
i ued to have that same computer, i edited skate videos on it for a few years until it crapped out
