I can't believe Sony PlayStation made a video like this. It's totally awesome that they were willing to tear this down and show everyone. Bravo. I'd love to see more companies sharing amazing designs like this.

Really cool to see Sony being so transparent as to what goes on in the headset and how everything works.

The head pads are a smooth silicone rubber material, meaning they won't flake off with wear like how they did on PSVR. Lots of nice changes! Seems like they really listened to user feedback.

I truly feel like this is the most futuristic thing you can buy right now. It’s not just a headset. They put a lot into the details that make the experience

Man these engineers are something else . Don't understand how and where they decide to start from a design standpoint when it comes to what parts to choose and where to go etc. Hopefully I can get a PSVR 2 sometime this year. It looks amazing and the games with it too are looking awesome as well

All these polite "masu"s and the green shirt really brought Suiseiseki to mind, and made this quite a funny tear down...

Do the controllers have their own cameras? Because I didn't see cameras in the back of the headset. What if you were playing a game like Iron Man where sticking your hands behind you can be ideal for the way it controls?

This is the only PSVR2 teardown I will ever need to watch, just like the PS5 teardown.

The thoughtfulness of everything from the headset adjustments to the box being able to be used as a storage box makes me happy. I know the launch isn’t as big as Sony probably wanted it to be. (Preorder still isn’t sold out yet) But I know people will come around once it starts getting into peoples hands and reviews start coming out. Hopefully PC support will be in the works in the future. They could make it where you could only activate on PC if you have a PS5. Kinda like how they are able to track activated consoles. I’d even buy an unlock key. What do you think?
