Child's Play 3 is a 1991 American slasher film and the third installment in the Child's Play film series. The film is written by Don Mancini and directed by Jack Bender. Brad Dourif once again reprised his role as Chucky from the previous films while new cast members include Justin Whalin, Perrey Reeves and Jeremy Sylvers. Although released only nine months after Child's Play 2, the story takes place eight years following the events of that film, and one month before the events of Bride of Chucky (which was made seven years later). It was executive-produced by David Kirschner, who produced the first two Child's Play films.

Chucky was at his funniest and messiest in this one. From his evil as hell facial expressions, to his manic screaming (26:26!!!), his petty cackling at the demise of others, funny movements, and talking shit. I could not stop laughing.

I swear I will forever advocate for this third movie i loved it we got to see Andy grown up and still this damn doll is chasing after him lol it's not the best out of the franchise but it still holds up foe me at least I cant wait to see your reaction to Bride and Seed of Chucky. I also loved the new characters Tyler was adorable and I understood why he would be fooled by chucky he's literally a kid just like Andy was thinking it was okay, De Silva was a final girl of course and I felt bad for Whitehurst his mind literally couldn't take what he saw but he still sacrificed himself for everybody my boy deserved better.
I hold Child’s Play 3 near and dear to my heart as It was my Introduction Into scary movies! I didn’t even see the first two until my teens… SO many fond memories watching this with my cousins as a kid! ❤

The handheld console Tyler was playing was an Atari Lynx. They were the first color/lit screen handhelds to hit the market. Very expensive.
I remember going to the VIDEO store when I was a kid/pre teen looking for a movie to rent and it was the first time I discovered Child's Play 3 and I was shocked because I thought after Child's Play 2 we jumped straight to Bride.🤣🤣 I still love this film though.

Child's Play 3 was orginally going to be set at Christmas, and the whole line of good guy dolls were going to Chucky. Universal studios wouldn't up the budget for more dolls, so we missed out on what could've been great. I personally think the 3rd movie is the last watchable Chucky movie. The rest became silly comedies.

The "Chucky Army" was their original idea but they couldn't make it happen with their budget. We see this idea come back, later, in "Cult of Chucky" and the tv series.
I still love this movie and it was such a delight to have this reaction on my birthday. This movie is severely underrated and overrated for no reason. It even has the best resurrection and death of chucky.

I like this one even if my least of rhe Child's play but not the least of the Chucky franchise. I love Andy. Alex Vincent was still too young to play a teen at the army but the actor was good (he played Jimmy in Lois & Clark).
