I love this haircut so much, I went to the barber to have this exact same cut but it was the worst haircut of my life, some barbers only know how to do the typical "shaved on the sides" haircut :(
I commented this video ikr I grey my hair sides for 5 months I went to the barber shop to get this low taper under cut and he said no because it takes to long and it’s difficult I was like wtf

Yes! I like the look of fading behind the ear much better than leaving that part "dark." Just my personal preference.
4years later, came across your video, looking for something like it. I agree, I like the natural shape up lines instead of the hard 90° ppl get with a fade. Now I just need to find someone capable of doing this style.

You just separate the long hair from the short hair

@@BaconPizza if it is just take a tail comb or a tease comb to split the hair into the sections then clean up the split to make it a nice clean line.

Yo I’m new to barbering and I was wondering when you are down fading from the 4 do you go from open lever to close for all the guards. Thanks

We all have our own way/style/technique etc for cutting/fading so it might seem weird to you that I ask this but wouldn’t be easier & faster to skip guards 3&4 and just roll off the head with #2 guard at the back then fade down? I know you mentioned having a smooth transition from the sides to the back but with control, wouldn’t it be best to start by rolling off with a #2?

David Falla I think he means how he has the line separating the fade with the long hair.
I honestly would just let it grown anywhere and once it’s long, then you can do the taper. That’s what my client did

Try putting your hair in a pony tail. Hold your hair with 2 fingers near the tie. Then with your other hand. Start wrapping your around your fingers. By the second wrap, take your fingers out and hold the bon in place as you keep wrapping and when done. Tie with another hair tie.

The problem with getting a fade and lineup is it just grows back messy the best thing is to keep you original hair line and light tap it so your not pushing it in because maintaining that look it sucks
Wey true but it all depends on the person. If you are trying to get a haircut once every couple of months then yes. However, must clients get a haircut every 2 weeks
