This helped so much because I have 3 boys and they all want the edger so my skills were rusty when it came to that but because of your awesome totorial and tips I was able to master it so thank you! 😊
I don’t get it sometimes he says to blend in you have to “come in open and close it little by little” but today he said “we’re gonna start blending in lever close” so which one is the best way to start?
If you’re still learning fading up is a lot easier. You make your initial guidelines with the lever open, and then start closed at the bottom of your section you cut and open gradually after that
Best to get clippers with a click lever as a beginner so you can keep track of the length you are at and each lever click will be a part you go up a bit more with
I just started my journey and i just cut my first mannequin i did a low fade but it cane out alright my cousin is going to let me practice on him and he wants a low taper this is definitely gonna help!! 👌🏼
Yo them jrl going hard you motified your clipper? Bro your cuts are always so fresh!! learned my process from you fam 💯 May God Bless You & The Fam Reading 🙏
Just grab clippers and trimmers and start cutting friends and familys hair . They make it look easy but it's different ones u get to hold them for the first time
You use the magic clip which opens up to a .5 on one side of the head and then the JRL which opens up to a 1 on the other side of the head. How does this not affect the evenness of the haircut?????
It’s a JRL onyx it has a fade blade. And even the normal jrl doesn’t open up to a full one and even if it did the gradiente and final result is what is even, the steps are irrelevant if the results are the same.
@@matthewtestino4222 if aware I have one, it has a faper blade and definitely opens up to a. Full one. I’m asking because he basically used the same steps on both sides with each clipper
so basically you go .5 1.5 2.5 and then use the ones you didn’t? those being 1 and 2? and then anything else if just closing the lever and then using thinners for a better transition?
How come on the right side you only sectioned off the fringe and on the left side you sectioned off the parietal ridge as if you were cutting a under cut? I think that’s why the left side was longer when you were connecting the top to the sides…
How do you like know what length you're at when you shave over the comb? Is it just practice? I try and cut my own hair (which is difficult bc of blind spots) but I never really understood how to do that
I bought some JRL onyx clippers but returning them. Didn’t blend well for me, also got the Babyliss FX ones the bottom blade jumps and you can’t zero gap them smh so returning them too
Is this considered a mid taper?? Cause I’m learning to cut hair and I just need to know everything and I’m starting with this cause everyone wants mid tapers if it is?
Why it opposite to what i been taught making guideline lever close for blending open and if needed graually close but u are doing totally opposite i am getting the issue of lever open and close
My son started wanting this haircut so here I am learning it.

It goes to prove all hair textures need different attention and approaches 💪🏻 keep grinding brother 🤙🏻
its two diff ways, fading down will give you a more blurry result
blend down (open to close)from the bulk(2-1 guard) blend up (close to open) from the bottom of the taper (no guard-half guard)
If you don’t have a half guard for the clipper, should you rather use the 1 guard for the clipper, of the half guard for the trimmer
I just started my journey and i just cut my first mannequin i did a low fade but it cane out alright my cousin is going to let me practice on him and he wants a low taper this is definitely gonna help!! 👌🏼

This is my son's favorite hair cut.
this is how he left living!!!!! great cut bro
LMAO cut was fire
Thank you very much 👊
How do you know how to angle the comb when doing clipper over comb? Is it just angled enough to where only about 1/4 inch of hair sticks out the comb?
so basically you go .5 1.5 2.5 and then use the ones you didn’t? those being 1 and 2? and then anything else if just closing the lever and then using thinners for a better transition?
🔥🔥🔥🔥 I struggle the most with sectioning and clipper over comb any tips to get better on that ?
Super clean idol. Nice tutor😊😊
I have a question do we need to have too have a 1 1/2 guard?
Lovely job ❤
Thank you , nice explanation👌🏼

Amazing effort

What do i do with the part the connects the side with the back, the behind ear
Why did you change clippers from the back to the side Taper?
How do you like know what length you're at when you shave over the comb? Is it just practice? I try and cut my own hair (which is difficult bc of blind spots) but I never really understood how to do that
