@turkchap I especially expect you to make a video about Tungus Languages. If you can do it, you will be the first Turk to make a video about Tungus Languages.
@@turkchap why are u lying in the video , and not saying that the armenian community lived there before all those other communities. kars has 80% armenian infrastructure , of wich alot has been destroyed by turkish government
Kinda. Yes the Kars, or Kars Oblast had a greek population but it was quite diffrent than other causcasian or black sea colonies greeks had. The region is influenced by georgians and persians more than byzantines. And then had a change in its demographic and culture in seljuk and ottoman era. The greeks came back to region under ottoman rule in 1500s as a part of their campaing in causcasia. But those greeks were pontic and had nothing to do with original settlers from pre byzantine era. And they were mostly muslim rather than orthodox. They got converted to orthodoxy back after the russians invaded the region.
They were literally settlers brought by the Russian empire i bound if they were armenians turks would be crying rn but they are Germans and look like how turks want to look like.
No wonder the poles decided the settle on the opposite side of the country when they migrated here (Yes I know there wasn’t as much tension then between the 2 yet at the time when the poles moved there, it’s a joke)
"Turkey is the best"
- Mehmet (Berlin, Germany)
"Germany is the best"
- Hans (Kars, Turkiye)

@@turkchap no problem bro i've been watching you from like 1k subs!
Great and informative video as always, thank you for making this video.

Stay tuned until the next video. Your wish will come true :)
@@turkchap 🥰🤩🤩
I will visit Türkiye one day, cities are fascinating and diverse
Yes! Most tourist go to more classic tourist spots but there are many awesome places in 🇹🇷
I am very curious about Eastern Anatolia and the Caucasus in the 1700s and 1800s, there was a lot of migration because of the Russians.
A super diverse region. Even today you can see many different ethnic groups in the Caucasus.

I don't know why but this video made me sad, I wonder what happened to the other Germans.
Most moved back to Germany, likely in the 60s but idk
I understand that there were once many Greeks in Kars as well, until around 1919.

Give me a simit with some cheese, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers and black tea and I'm good.
Now I am hungry
@@turkchap Me too, and anytime of day is a good time for breakfast.
Great video, but is it possible for you to provide the sources you used and the location of the only German house remaining?
Title might be a bit misleading but this is a really interesting unexpected story!
Thank you! How come the title is misleading?
@turkchap usually when European colonies are mentioned you'd imagine a different story i guess
Great video! It would be fascinating to know if there have ever been Turkish colonies in Germany
Could you make a video about the Hemshins
I made this video which also features the Hemshins th-cam.com/video/E1VQRn-ohhs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=zlAJq_7T-btLhQjJ
@@turkchap Thanks
please make a video about the Nekrasov Cossacks
incredible
What you call the city of Kars is actually the province of Kars.
And what you call central Kars is the city of Kars.
Yep
Am I having deja vu, or is this a repost?
Nope, not deja vu. I mentioned about the Kars Germans in one of the previous videos but also wanted to make a separate segment with more detail.

There are no Germans in kars until one family.
Wasn't that Russian territory 110 years ago?
I literally say the same thing in the video
I appreciate your videos but your thumbnails could be a lot more interesting imo. They look so plain and stale
the lies in this video are unbelievable
Berbat bir yer kars yaşanmaz
Laik, Atatürk seven milliyetçi bir yer olduğu için mi
Medeni oldukları için mi sevmiyorsun?
WHY?
