You are absolutely, hands down, my favourite TH-cam mechanic. You don't leave critical information out of your video and you don't ramble just to talk. Thanks for being so informative and easy to watch / listen too. I have already performed 6 repairs in the last month on my 2006 Ford Escape that just turned over 187,500 miles. Everything has gone smoothly. A few times, I had my phone handy so I could re-watch portions of your videos while doing the work. Please, keep them coming :-)
Dude , I have watched almost all of your videos and I thank god for you. The way you explain everything makes you a head and shoulders above most on the internet, and the world. Fist bump for taking the time to help us normal folk
You are amazing!!! I have followed your videos to successfully do repairs on my 2011 Ford Escape for the past 3 years. You have been right on things that mechanics who are physically looking at my car do not diagnose properly. You have made repairs doable for someone who isn not even mechanically inclined, and some that I would not have afforded the expensive shop prices in my area, to have had fixed. As a woman, I am now more confident in speaking with local mechanics because of your videos. You're a brilliant mechanic who is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!!!
Bought my 2011 escape and little did i know this was a common problem thanks to your video, I the mechanic novice got it going again been a week with no leaks. Tools I used where OEM Pilot Bearing Puller and slide hammer from Oreilly's and the Adjustable Bearing Race and Seal Driver from Autozone. Thanks Again!!
Before watching your MOST EXCELLENT video, I wasted almost 30 minutes of my life on another TH-cam video, for the same repair. You always make the BEST videos. Please don't stop making your ASTONISHINGLY BEAUTIFUL AND QUALITY videos.
The only suggestion I have is when loosening or tightening a nut bolt combination hold the bolt and turn the nut. That give the least resistance and a greatly reduced chance of breaking a bolt. In torquing it provides a much more accurate torque because the shaft of the bolt friction gives false torque readings. A old Machinist taught me that 10,000,000 years ago.
Hello i would like to thank the Ford Tech Makuloco for the great video on replacing the left seal , bushing & stub shaft on my 2010 ford escape . I got a quote from a local repair shop in our town and he quoted me $3500 , so i took it to a Ford dealer repair shop in Vernon BC and the tatal bill was less than $ 700 parts and labour . I asked the service manager if he had seen your video and he said he had . some times it is way better to go back to a service shop , that sells your make of vehicle. Great video and very knowledgable mechanic. Thanks for saving me close to $3000 dollars .George Bubuik
Has it still been good for you? I have an '11 and they quoted me about $650 or so from one and $800-$1,100 from another shop... Ive heard it can start leaking again after fix...
The blind hole puller set #27128 from Autozone will work, the largest size puller says it goes to 1 1/4' but it will extend a little further than that and will fit the bushing which is about an 1 3/8". I used the Bearing Race and Seal Driver set #67034 from O'Reillys to install the new bushing and the seal. Both tools can be rented for free.
Thanks for the video, replaced the CV axle and the seal on my 11 Escape. When I asked the dealer if I could borrow the bushing remover tool they looked at me like I had a certain something growing from my forehead
FWIW, although the WSM says to drain the trans you don't need to. During the process you only lose a minimal amount of fluid. Once done just a little top off is needed. Saves time and fluid.
Man another great Video! You are the MAN!!! I went down to my buddies shop put my escape on the lift during oil change and found out my seal is leaking on mine! So I guess I have to take mine to get fixed.
I just did this job on my Escape. I purchased this Blind Hole 10pc Slide Hammer Pilot Bearing Puller Internal Extractor Removal Kit from amazon but the largest puller is not big enough. Luckily I could machine the collet to allow it to expand a little further. Also I machined a bushing installer and if you don't have a lathe a local machine shop could do this for you.
Just did this on a 2009, hardest part was removing the old bushing, I didn't have a puller large enough so I used a mini sawzall and cut a notch in the old bushing. After that this is a very easy job
Top notch video. Thanks so much! You covered everything you need to complete this repair, expect, my only question - how many hours of labour would you charge to do this job in a shop?
I have exactly the same problem same transmission with my 2012 fusion. thank you for your detailed video. I am missing the special tool for the bushing. I am going to see if I can find a special tool Bushing Cutter that does not damage the case.
awesome vid ! i was very impressed you even gave all the torque spec's of each sized nuts and bolt to reassemble. alot of people forget or just don't go as far into detail. keep up the awesome vids.
FordTechMakuloco - Love your videos. Very clear and helpful! With the Covid-19 I have extra time on my hands so trying to do this repair. Running into a challence removing the axle from the transmission housing. In neutral, and I've rotated it a few times. Cannot seem to remove it. I don't want to force it and potentially cause internal damage or external damage to the housing. Anything else I can check or try?
For anyone else having this same problem, I finally got it. Just kept rotating and prying. It did NOT come out as easily as in this video! I had to really bang on it a few times! Looking in carefully, no internal damage visible nor any cracks to the housing. So just be ready to possibly have to really work at it.
Great vids Brian. I have an 06 escape cd4e trans . I have replaced the seals twice. The Ford brand seal was definitely better than tken seal. I have slop up and down where the axle meets the trans.. You have said this is normal. My car has a high speed shimmy. the tires look good and I have had the tires balanced. The problem still exists. I was wondering if the old bushing is causing this?
Are there any major differences between the 2009-2012 Escapes and the 2013-present Escapes? Gonna start the repair tomorrow and want to make sure I know what to do (steps/sockets/etc). Thanks!
Is this the same application for front wheel drive manual transmission? I have a 2010 escape 4cyl fwd manual transmission. So far the process looks the same. Obviously the transmission fluid will be different. But just wondering if the process is the same? Thanks in advance. Love your videos!!
EXCELLENT video (as usual)!!! I do have a question. I just changed the left front wheel bearing on my daughters 2009 Escape. I got the knuckle assembled onto the lower ball joint and then the rain started (having to work outside sucks). So, while everything is basically still disassembled it seems it would be a good time to proactively install the bearing, seal and stub shaft kit. The question is, does the 2009 still require the kit, or was the inboard shaft micro-finish problem fixed at the factory level in 2009? Thank you again for doing ALL you videos!! You are the best at this!!!!!
Great video! I have a 2003 v6 XLT Ford Escape (right hand drive). Couldn't locate from where my transmission fluid was leaking until I viewed this video!! Sure enough my rubber boot is broken and I can see the seal from where the fluid leaks right unto the floor by the driver side!!! Can you provide a part number, I seem to be locating only the entire axle assembly. Don't know if that can solve the leak. Seems like I would still need the seal along with the axle!
I have an 05 Mariner 4WD and I think the LH shaft seal is leaking from what I can tell. I'm not a mechanic, but I'm taking it in to get looked at tomorrow, thanks for the informative video. This gives me an idea of what the cost might be.....
Great Info......this is a known issue with the ford escape...having mine done today...fortunately I purchased the extended plan, currently at 73,000 miles and noticed the leak......dealership wanted 1300.00 to fix it but only had to pay 50.00 co-pay...Ford needs to get it together...been a ford guy my whole life but I have to say I am going to give my business to another manufacturer.....every ford I have had goes sour around the 75,000 mile to 5 year period like clock work and when dealing with the dealership they treat you like they owe you money and kind of shruge you off....I'm in sales and I know it to be a fact that the salesman sales you the first one but customer services sales you the next on and the dealerships for Ford simply put.................suck after you make a purchase.....Just saying
I just tried installing this kit on my 2010 and ran into some issues since I live in the rust belt. No matter what tool I threw at it, that cv axle would not separate from the hub. Air hammer, bfg, 3 jaw puller and even map gas torch didn't work. I disconnected the tie rod end and separated and assembled the transaxle side cv with the axle still in the hub...it sucked.
How long should this seal normally last? I have about 92,000mi., should I expect this fail at this mileage, or is it likely due to the faulty design you mentioned? I have a 2010 Ford Fusion and this is slowly leaking fluid...noticed a few spots under the car and it looks as if that's where it's coming from.
First off, Thank you for the video. My 2010 FWD Escape is ready for surgery! When I call up the TX 682 part, I'm told "this part Does Not fit my vehicle. It then refers me to TX 585. Can you tell me what the difference is and why, if you are using the 682, why I can't. I want to be sure before I order. Thanks again!
I'm doing my passenger side CV axle replacement in my bearing inside the transmission was damaged so I got a new one from Ford but it doesn't seem like it's going to fit. How much resistance do you have to push that bearing in?
Is this a common recurring problem for Ford Escape? Just purchased a 2012 Ford Escape last week FWD only 30k miles..Had to tow it today. Bc transmission fluid was leaking real bad from the front axle. Found the previous owner had this axle seal replaced less than a month ago. And today its back in the shop same problem. You think I just got a bad seal? or is this a often a chronic problem ??
Great clip keep up the good work. Just wanted to know if we were to change the bushing on the right side with same part # as the left side would it be safe or worth doing it if we didn't change the stub shaft.
Awesome video. I'm stuck though, I can't get the original shaft out of the transmission. Tried to pry it like crazy, to the point where I was worried about damaging the case. Any tips? I'm jacking from the ground, makes everything harder.
Did you ever figure this out? I am having the same problem and don't want to risk internal damage or cracking the transmission case by prying too hard. I've followed the video advice to turn the axle a few times to hopefully release the clip inside, but no help.
I just replaced the fluid in my PTO (2016 Escape 2.0 Ecoboost). It looks like the seal is leaking on the rh shaft. Can I replace the seal by pulling the shaft, or does the PTO need to come out? Thank you, btw, for your content. I never would have thought about these fluids needing changed if not for you.
I had this problem last week. Was experiencing rough shifting so I checked fluid level. To my surprise it was low. I figured I'd just change the transmission fluid but when I got under there I noticed the leak. I took it to Robin Ford in Glenolden, Pa since it is still under warranty. When I picked it up I again noticed some hard shifting. Checked the fluid and it was overfilled. Also noticed the hood prop was not placed back in its holder (the little things). I looked under the trans and sure enough, they did not change the Stub Shaft. I can't be sure because I can't check it. but I bet they didn't replace the bushing either, and I'd bet my paycheck they didn't wipe out the old grease and replace it. What can I do in this situation other than go back and complain?, Maybe they will replace the Stub Shaft, but I'm sure these slobs won't replace the bearing. I am now noticing slow cranking since picking it up. Coincidence?? How can I trust these guys? I checked battery voltage after she sat overnight and it read under 11V. I started it up, getting even slower crank, and I am getting 14.6 V. Took the battery out to put it on charge and it went to full charge in a couple of minutes. Took it off charge and it read 12.6V. What would cause the battery to read low voltage when in the car with nothing on? To top it off it's Thanksgiving day and I can't go there and choke anyone.
Just got my 2014 Ford Escape back from the dealer and they said I need a new bushing and seal and also an entire new axel. Do you think they were saying to replace the axel just to be safe? It's the most expensive part and I don't want to replace it if it doesn't really need to... Have you replaced any axels? If so, what goes bad with them?
I noticed the tools in the description to be borrowed from the dealer. Do you have a list of the tools needed for removal of the other parts or are they all common. Thanks.
FordTecMaculoco thank you for the reply and I did clean the surface. The shaft did not seam grooved but the seal wasn't a ford seal. I had my car on the hoist today and Im thinking there is excessive slop in the shaft and bushing. I can push it up and down and you can hear a clunk. Im not talking in and out. It looks like a repair sleeve is sold for my model but that real sucks if the whole trans needs pulled to do it. Would I be better off with a remanufactured Trans if thats the case?
Yes if you push up and down there will be slop. Few things make sure you install a Ford seal and be sure the garter spring stays in place after the replacement.
so would a third party replacement shaft require the stub axle to be swapped over? or do the new ford replacement axles come with the updated stub shaft?
i have a 2011 ford escape. i ordered this exact kit.....did not fit. the inside diameter of the half shaft was smaller than my original one. So discouraging. I did however learn a lot about removal and installation, so thanks for that.
So I have a 2016 ford edge 6f35 and the drivers side axle shaft has a significant amount of up and down play as well as a clinking noise only at acceleration and slowing down. I don't think it's the axle shaft itself, is there a bushing in there that would allow up and down movement? There are no leaks either.
You mentioned Mercon lv, I have an '04 mazda tribute lx 3.0 and will change the xmission fluid. Do you recommend Mercon v fluid, thanks and love your helpful videos.
great job, my only criticism is that If I'm paying for a kit that includes a new new boot I'd want it installed regardless of the current condition of my boot. (preventative maintenance)
Thanks to FordTechMakuloco my 2014 F-150 is properly maintained as a result of his maintenance tips. To be specific, I followed his advice to perform rear axle and transmission services early (Ford says 100,000 miles). I opened up my pumpkin and found that Ford had installed only 2 of the required 3-1/2 quarts of 75-140 gear lube. I flushed my transmission and found only 9 qts were installed of the required 13 qts. I wonder if Ford uses the cost savings resulting from short-changing new vehicles fluids to increase thier profit reports? I trusted my Ford dealer to perform fluid checks on all serviceable items. With a mere 59,000 miles on my truck, if I hadn't serviced these two critical driveline components, my out-of-warranty repairs would have been thousands of $'s.
@ FordTechMakuloco the red/orange coating on the inside of the new bushing I purchased has a scabby finish. Is this likely going to marr up the new half shaft and cause the leak to return?
My dad and I noticed my trans axle seal leaking on my 09 escape (6F35) while we were changing the plugs. I know it was an inherent problem with the escapes but I think I made it worse when I got in an accident two years ago and it finally just started pouring fluid. Long story short, we drained the tranny pan (about a gallon of fluid), replaced the seal with a new one from Ford, as well as replaced the axle and then refilled the tranny with about 5 quarts of new fluid. The problem I'm having now, which started slightly before the repairs were made is that the tranny seems to be slightly slipping and hesitating, especially in 1st and 2nd gear. We're kind of at a loss currently and I know that some people had problems with the throttle body and some with other things, but we're trying to figure out what we can do without having to send it into a shop. Any thoughts you might be able to share are appreciated since I know you have worked on these vehicles a lot. Thanks.
bk31883 How was the fluid coming out smell burnt? Did you use mercon LV after the repairs and fill it to the very top of the hash marks when full hot? I think there was a reflash for the pcm to take care of this and while they are in there ask for them to clear the trans adaptive tables and reset pcm KAM also and reevaluate after that.
The fluid coming out was pretty dark and nasty and smelled burnt like you said. I used Mercon LV after the repairs and I think I actually started using it once we realized we had a bad leak. I assume I would want to take it Ford themselves (there's a dealership real close) to do all of the computer stuff. Is that something that is ridiculously expensive to have done?
Would you by any chance have the part number for that Output Shaft Bushing? I am doing the seal but cannot find that bushing anywhere and mine is just falling right out Ford is telling me it is unserviceable and there is no such bushing
What is the purpose of that silver collar that’s left on the half shaft inner side? Is that just a dust cover for the inner seal? It seems to just sit on there. About to do a reassemble on my same escape, but not sure if that silver collar just rides there or something.
Accidentally pulled my inner CV joint out when replacing lower control arm on my 2013 SE AWD Escape. And now doesn't seem to want to slide back in like your vid shows. Yes, it's still attached to the hub, any suggestions?
FordTechMakuloco - I got my 2010 ford escape at the dealer, they want to replace the whole half shaft, is this really necessary? I told them about the service kit and only replacing the stub assembly but they brushed me off as "that's not how we do it". They quoted $900 dollars for labor and parts (about $250 for the half shaft + $60 for the seal and bearing).
For anyone who runs into this issue with the dealer, ask to speak with the service manager. I was persistent that they use the service kit for this and kept referencing the TSB for this. Service manager looked up the TSB in Ford Oasis and confirmed that I was indeed correct (no half shaft required). Service Manager was pretty embarrassed that the tech missed the TSB out for this issue (or so he says). Ended up giving me a break on the work. Out the door I was charged 1.5 hour labor ($173), $68 for the kit and $45 for 6 quarts of Mercon LV for the drain and fill.
Charlie Mopps If you were to buy any tool it should be the bearing driver the rest you can manage and you would still be able to save money easy doing it yourself.
FordTechMakuloco Update on this: I got a bushing puller from Autozone (Free rental with a deposit) But they didn't have a bushing installer big enough. My buddy had a harbor freight set of bushing installers that fit it. The sizes of everything in here was standard, so get a standard installer kit. My repair went great thanks to your video, and my bushing had large slivers of steel coming off it, so it was clearly failing big time.
I just did my transmission fluid drain and fill on my escape 09 4wd. I discovered what I think is the left hand axel leak as shown above. Anyone know if draining the fluid is required for this job? I just changed it out and used 10 quarts doing the drain and fills to get it all out. So I really hope not. Also any repair estimates for this job ? Time it takes ect?
I have a grinding noise when turning right. I suspected a wheel bearing so I replaced the knuckle assembly. Still makes noise. There is about 50 thousandths end play in the half shaft. The dealer said it was the ball joint, which doesn't make any sense and didn't feel loose at all. I paid the dealer for what ended up being a diagnostic since they didn't have the part in stock. Could it be that my cv shaft is bad?
i have a Ford Escape 2010 Hybrid, i took it to the dealership bacause i had done the axle seal, but i couldn'tdo the bushing/bearing they call it, because of the tool. It has a play on the axle coming out the the trans and it vibrates when pressing the brakes, I saw your video and Iwas sure that was it . Anyway they couldn't figure it out, they came out with bad tires and i know is not that. They said on the hybrids there is no bushing/beraing, do you know anything about it. I changed all the supension, tires as they advised, axle and alignment, still continue vibrating.
Felix F. I have the same problem man we’re you able to figure it out? I took in to get it checked as well and they told me it was the inner tie rod and that the inside of the boot was lacking grease
FordTecMaculoco I there I have a 06 Mercury Mariner the dealer told me it should have a CD4E trans and that the kit in your video didn't match my model. Could my vehicles have the same issues with the bushing. I replaced the seal once and it is leaking again. I also have up and down slop in the inner axle shaft.
+Marc Stone You will have slop in the shaft that is normal. The bushing on yours is not serviceable without splitting the case. My question is did you use a ford seal and did you inspect and polish the sealing surface on the shaft?
Hi I bought Bushing Remover- 308-070 and it seems to be too small and there is nothing to expand the claws. Also the one you used looks different. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Got this problem with my 2010 2.5L FWD Mercury Mariner. Got a new CV axle and seal installed, shop didn't know about the bushing. Still leaking. Bushing is backordered and won't be here for a week, can I drive it if I check my tranny levels after every drive and top up as needed?
Does the cv axle tx559 have the corrected issue? Also could you send the correct part number for just the, seal and bushing if I get a new cv axle for LH?
I’m having what seems to be the exact same issue on my 2013 Escape but the axel part numbers and all looks like they changed in 2013. Would you happen to know if this same kit would work or if there’s another kit for the 2013-???? whatever year till they changed again?

How did you figure the depth for the new bushing?
@@SimonKlit Its been a while now, I can't remember if there was a stop for the bushing or if I just set it flush with the case. The video may show it.
@@mugga5590 thank you for your reply! That’s good enough, I’ll give it a whirl. Did yours start leaking again?

FordTecMakuloco yes I inspected the shaft for scratches ans groves and it looked good but I didn't use a ford seal.
Great explanation congratulation my friend you are a professor.
Muy buen video muy claro y entendible muchas gracias por tomar el tiempo para hacer este manifico video para lo que no sabemos que hacer gracias
Thank you! This is very helpful! Where can I find the tools? Thank you.
i am ordering all of those tools now. what black bar did you use that connects to the bushing installer?
I just tried installing this kit on my 2010 and ran into some issues since I live in the rust belt. No matter what tool I threw at it, that cv axle would not separate from the hub. Air hammer, bfg, 3 jaw puller and even map gas torch didn't work. I disconnected the tie rod end and separated and assembled the transaxle side cv with the axle still in the hub...it sucked.
Hey buddy thanks for all the 2001 Ford Escape help NYC usar
How long should this seal normally last? I have about 92,000mi., should I expect this fail at this mileage, or is it likely due to the faulty design you mentioned? I have a 2010 Ford Fusion and this is slowly leaking fluid...noticed a few spots under the car and it looks as if that's where it's coming from.
Damn good video brother! How much does a job like this cost?
Did you ever find out? I got two estimates for mine: about $650 or so from one and $800-$1,100 from another shop...
My mechanic replaced the seal twice and it's still leaking. Do I need to replace the whole cv joint?
Follow the video and inspect the shaft and bushing it likely needs the inner cv and bushing.
i have ford escape 2010 3.0l awd is a good truck or is beter change for a new one i fix a lot lot a part whit your help and video
The escapes have always been great vehicles until the 2013 and newer models came around.
Thanks again!
grasias por toda esa informacion pon videos en los cuales podramos aprender a leer los diagramas
Very good communicator.
JPJMotorsports I think the rh side is only changed by splitting the case either way the rh side bushing is never a problem and shouldn't be changed.
Also, I bought this car at 90k, did my first pto and tranny fluid change at 110k. It now has 145k and just did my second fluid change.
Is there a part number for the bushing? Thank you
I had this problem last week.
TH-cam greatest tech!
so would a third party replacement shaft require the stub axle to be swapped over? or do the new ford replacement axles come with the updated stub shaft?
tim sutton Anew complete shaft will work also. This kit is so cheap though you might as well get it and swap the stub over.
i was just wondering for the future in case the whole axle assembly needs to be replaced, thanks
i have a 2011 ford escape. i ordered this exact kit.....did not fit. the inside diameter of the half shaft was smaller than my original one. So discouraging. I did however learn a lot about removal and installation, so thanks for that.
Really? You sure your cv axle isn't a aftermarket one and not the OE ford one? This could be be the problem you have
So I have a 2016 ford edge 6f35 and the drivers side axle shaft has a significant amount of up and down play as well as a clinking noise only at acceleration and slowing down.
What's the book time on a job like that?? Thank you for the awesome videos!!
I would say 2.5hrs
great job, my only criticism is that If I'm paying for a kit that includes a new new boot I'd want it installed regardless of the current condition of my boot. (preventative maintenance)
Ftm seems like those Escapes are about enough to make you loco.
Well done and easy to follow.
It's a shame that you need special tools to make this repair. Doesn't help the home mechanic..
Is this the same for the 2013 1.6L? It all looks the same. Just wanted to verify before I bought the kit. TY.
I have a 2005 Mercury Mariner V6 4WD that I believe has this issue. Is a similar kit available for it or would it be the same one?
Gracias por el video. Este es uno de los mejores trabajos realizados.
Are these tools the same for the newer Escape 2013 - 17 with 1.6 and 2.0 AWD
Bump
What's the bar you are using with the bearing and seal installers. Is that something we could borrow from the dealer as well?
Is this likely going to marr up the new half shaft and cause the leak to return?
any word on the leak returning? heard thats a very common issue
Is that something that is ridiculously expensive to have done?
bk31883 No it should be 1hr at what ever their labor rate is.
Ok, sounds good - I will give them a call, thank you for the help.
Would you by any chance have the part number for that Output Shaft Bushing? I am doing the seal but cannot find that bushing anywhere and mine is just falling right out Ford is telling me it is unserviceable and there is no such bushing
dirtyold roofer dv6z-7025-c is the latest number
Do you happen to have the part number for the seal and bushing for the 2.5 automatic?, Also part number for the tools?, Thanks
+Michael James Some dealers are like that certain techs only want to swap parts not fix the cars.
Hey man great video! Very helpful thank you!
The local dealer doesn't rent or loan tools. Any ideas on how I could pull this off with generic tools? I'm not sure how deep to set the bushing.
Charlie Mopps If you were to buy any tool it should be the bearing driver the rest you can manage and you would still be able to save money easy doing it yourself.
Unfortunately that's the one tool I can't get. I've got some genetic drivers and am going to just mark it with a sharpee or something

Update on this: I got a bushing puller from Autozone (Free rental with a deposit) But they didn't have a bushing installer big enough. My buddy had a harbor freight set of bushing installers that fit it. The sizes of everything in here was standard, so get a standard installer kit. My repair went great thanks to your video, and my bushing had large slivers of steel coming off it, so it was clearly failing big time.
a sawzo can cut and remove the old bushing easily .. vacuum the shavings
Charlie Mopps do you know what part number the harbor freight bushing setter is?
I just did my transmission fluid drain and fill on my escape 09 4wd. I discovered what I think is the left hand axel leak as shown above. Anyone know if draining the fluid is required for this job? I just changed it out and used 10 quarts doing the drain and fills to get it all out. So I really hope not. Also any repair estimates for this job ? Time it takes ect?
Is the bushing puller tool the same for the CD4E transmission? If yes , what are the Ford tool part numbers for puller and installer?
I have a grinding noise when turning right. I suspected a wheel bearing so I replaced the knuckle assembly. Still makes noise. There is about 50 thousandths end play in the half shaft. The dealer said it was the ball joint, which doesn't make any sense and didn't feel loose at all. I paid the dealer for what ended up being a diagnostic since they didn't have the part in stock. Could it be that my cv shaft is bad?
Tools: Do you have any links or information on where or how I can buy those tools?
Excellent info as usual, thanks man and thumbs UP
Thank you so much for within review I just watched your video And fix my SUV thank you
i have a Ford Escape 2010 Hybrid, i took it to the dealership bacause i had done the axle seal, but i couldn'tdo the bushing/bearing they call it, because of the tool.
OCGuz31 did you ever figure this out?
