In total, this took about 45-50 hours of gameplay with Light Tetra Dualies to go from no stars to five. Five star freshness is such a grind in this game, but it makes it feel so much better when you finally do it. Thanks for watching!

not stopping until getting five stars on a weapon at %80 percent doesn't sound long, but I assure you that it takes a WHILE to get even 20%.
Fun fact: The first weapon I ever got a quad with was Splatoon 2 Light Tetra in a C rank Clam Blitz match. I still have the clip and it's kinda weird to see how far I've come as a player (for example, in the same clip I didn't enter swim mode once iirc). Anyway, cool video and congrats Chase!

Just got 5 stars on the Sloshing Machine…to anyone who has more than one 5 star weapon, HOW?
Got most of the weapons I want to 3 and 4 stars and I'm casually grinding them to 5 star....the casual grind does suck/super slow but at least I'm not hard-core grinding to get them complete anymore....I will say the grind to 3/4 star fucking sucks especially with low tier weapons (you're target) but it's totally worth it when you can finally relax and slowly work your way up
i havent even got 1 weapon to 5 stars 😭 i have like 7 that are 4 star but ig competitive players play way more and are able to get those badges fast

I'm picking up tetra along side sword as my secondary weapon, I'm not close to 5★ yet but the grind is still going strong!
I have 5 stars with the vanilla Splatana Wiper and the Stamper! It's a pretty cool class to learn, and you will have a lot of fun! Good luck.

I would love to use the tetra dualies since they fit a similar playstyle to what I like but the weapon just feels off for me
Why do people with dualies run stealth jump when they can just roll out of there? Ive never understood that part
Because even with the dodge rolls if people see your jump you still die 90% of the time. Also especially with this game's latency
@@Chase247 ooh gotcha! So that's why it's good to run Stealth jump so it's a bit harder to be splatter
how long does it take to 4 star a weapon and then how long is it from 4 stars to 5?
4 starring is around 8-10 hours of playing a weapon. Then to go to 5 stars is around another 40 hours.

Also, did you use XP tickets at all for the grinding process?
Not sure where the pinned comment went, but around 50 hours! And no they don't sadly. It goes off of catalog experience

I did the math and you would have to win approximately 30 matches daily to 5-Star a weapon in 2 weeks- 2 ½ weeks😟
It's about 450 wins on the weapon to get it.

it doesn't "do" anything, it just shows how much you've used a weapon
