@@CarcarrierTv it would be nice for new drivers to know the difference between a good paying load and something that is not where car hauling? I drove van for 18 years but thinking about car hauling.
@waynegates4866 so for a very simplified view on good paying loads a good experienced car hauler should pretty easily be able to make $500+ a day when hauling cars. But that’s very very basic obviously there’s fluctuations between days some days you’ll do 800-1100 in a day and others 250 but at the end of the week you should easily be doing 2500-3500 most weeks
In my pocket? No but I built relationships over the years with dispatchers. Bail them out from time to time and it pays off in the long run. But I’m reality I took a lane that nobody wanted to run and made it work for me and it paid dividends over the years.
Have you been having issues getting loads built due to united using the computers to build loads? My Husband works for united and is loosing his mind with the ridiculous loads lately. He just went independent contractor and the computer keeps sending him way out of the way or never has loads out of the nearest yards. I know there are other united drivers have the same complaints. Have you been having issues with them as well?
Everything you're saying about how long it takes to do multiple drops in a day is correct, I believe you said could take 4-5 hours to do all those drops around a city. Which is true, now with that said you're using a next gen ez loader with quick spinz, for all those that don't know and who are new to this if you were using a high rail cx11 or similar you can almost double that time it would take the entire day 7-9 hours to do multiple drops around a city. I am providing this information to those that are new it is very important to understand how the equipment you choose is going to make or break you, not just your pockets but your time. Which ultimately ends up affecting your pockets. Nothing will burn you out and make you quit this industry quicker than a high rail trailer lol. If you're going to get involved in this industry spend the extra money up front and get the type of truck that he is using in this video a ez loader stinger with quick spinz. You have no idea how long it takes to tie down 9 cars if you have to take your bar out each pull and put it back into a hole for another pull until each tire is tied down. I can load a ez loader like that truck in somewhere around an hour start to finish, a high rail has taken me up to 4 hours to load and I am experienced.
Hey Brother, I applied to United Road I was supposed have interview tomorrow but got cancelled hopefully they give me one soon. I've never done car hauling only dry van and reefer wanna try something new I subscribed to your channel I like the videos you put out there. Drive Safe
@@CarcarrierTvI like to do regional I live in North East PA they have any terminals near my area Scranton ? Not trying to be rude but had trouble understanding my recruiter like something wrong with her phone line..
You in my area I did Southeast with Virginia and Centurion. Used to pay with Virginia but hauling Dacula sucks to much big stuff
Need more videos on loading cars in all different types of weather especially the winter.
Go to Michigan Monday for Training with United Roads.. I’m gonna be out of the Petersburg, VA terminal.
Good luck up there I hope it works out well for you I ran out of Petersburg a few times
What changed at UR that made you leave? Is it bad changes?
It was their new dispatch system imo they went to a forced dispatch and the loads they were trying to force were bs loads that weren’t paying anything

All the drivers at United need to ban together and have them get rid of the new dispatch system. Are all terminal s using that system?
@@fanessabauer5004 idk yet I’m in orientation but you have me thinking now… I need to know what’s wrong with the system?
"Are Dispatchers the key......?" You tell us, you had dispatcher's in your pocket in URS

Makes you wonder why United Road couldn't put together more one drop loads on their trucks....
Single drops went on haully for third party lol imo
How do you help new drivers get a routine on how to get started every day?

I went to jekyll 2 years in row with the family years ago we loved it super which is exactly what I want when I'm not grinding on the road
Exactly it’s a beautiful place.
