I've always liked LSU from afar. But their fans were talking so much trash the past few months. Kept saying they were so much better a year later. Refused to believe when us FSU fans said the Noles were much better too. Kept saying they would bully FSU, it wouldn't be close, FSU couldn't hang with an elite SEC team.
Noles were the far better team. All those penalties and mistakes in the first half and LSU was only up 3. Cleaned it up and went on a 31-0 run. Imagine if FSU came out focused and not sloppy

Sat in an LSU section and they were running their mouths big time. That 2nd half was glorious.
Most of those penalties were bogus...a PAC 12 crew yeah the refs are always biased on FSU. Last year LSU should never have had the last chance to score a TD...clock should have ran out but as always, they allow one more chance. 53 yards in one series of penalties....SMH...they weren't calling on LSU for penalties. They had 0 when we had 5. The 2 penalties one on LSU and the other on FSU should have offset but they called FSU for the penalty and let LSU go.

As an FSU fan, here's what I see from LSU. They clean up some errors, get the CBs brought up to speed, and eliminate those dropped punts and you have a very tough team. That D Line causes havoc. Jaden Daniels can rip off 30 yard runs no problem.
They gotta let Perkins do his thang too he ain’t at his full potential on the line like he is rn they just wasting his talent

SEC is best conference; however, SEC is not close to being invincible. Alabama has won and lost championships to Clemson. Ohio State could have easily won semifinal against Georgia. LSU believed all that SEC dominance talk. Got manhandled. Florida State running were getting chunks of yardage.
Just look at the way LSU played in the second half. They never knew what hit them! They really did look like a deer in the headlights!

Im a FSU fan but have always loved the way LSU plays ball. Im not a fan of Kelly at all. I just don't think he's a good fit at that school. Bottom line is LSU is still a great team and just needs to clean up a few things and play their brand of ball.

LSU looked tired in second half, and looked like they gave up in the 4th. That would be my biggest concern. They have tons of talent and a very good qb.
I told y’all that it would be a blowout why are y’all shocked. I told you this wasn’t even the best version of a top LSU team this isn’t 2019 at all y’all need another year not enough depth. Next year if y’all keep everybody you’re going to need a QB but if everything else is left intact LSU will have a really good team next year. This team was never a top 5 team.
People saying Daniel's is the problem was going to hate him win, or lose! If you didn't see how inept that O line look last night when Florida State basically said the " RIGHT SIDE " was garbage, and couldn't open up a hole for a pin to go thru, and pass blocking was atrocious! This was suppose to be our strength, but what was that?!
Daniel's as big of a fan as I am did under throw, and over throw about 4 passes, but I counted 8 drops, and 4 were Kyrin Lacey! Why wasn't Sampson, or Pimpton used in the red zone due to their 6'5 frames, and our O line again sucked not being able to open up running lanes...atrocious!
The defense in the first half outside of the DB'S play well...especially our front as they were pushing FSU back into the QB space, but Perkins spying instead of roaming the edges to pressure was mind blowing...especially upon seeing he wasn't effective in the first half! Then the D line in the second half just played like crap, and our secondary really got exposed...I mean really got EXPOSED!
Kelly couldn't make in game adjustments to save his life on the defensive side, and House might be overrated as a DC, and whoever is coaching DB'S is not worth the money! I can say this, and I am not bias as I want the best player on the field, and don't care about feelings, but Daniel's although pressured like crazy in the pocket still needed some arm strength on a few throws that could have been big plays, and I don't know if Nuss would've been much better, but about 4 of those were big plays if leading the receiver, but Lacys drops were inexcusable period!
This was just a garbage showing up in the second half especially, but it's game one, and only Kelly's second season as I already said it would be three seasons before things pop off! I stand by that, but the first year was a gift, and expectations this year was to me last years season! The O line, and D line better correct itself, or no matter who is at QB will not be very good, and our RB's need space! I fear those DB'S are going to get lit up if that D line doesn't improve their pass rush!! GEAUX TI.....arrrrrggghhhhhh, just frustrated!!!

In your comment you didn't mention depth. On both sides of the ball the 2 teams match up almost evenly EXCEPT depth. I knew FSU had more depth on both sides of the line and everyone knows when you are 2-3 deep it shines in the 4th quarter.
@reidwilson7974 ....again while he had bad moments I will concede, he was under constant pressure and was failed miserably by what was suppose to be a strength according to EVERYONE! To just pinpoint Daniel's is disingenuous and you know it! No running game, multiple drop passes, and Daniel's doesn't play DB, DL, nor is responsible for in game adjustments! He was 22/37 & 347 yards...if half the drops had been caught, or the O line was the hype it was suppose to be, especially inside the 2 yard line, yeah it was all Daniel's fault! To people like you and toad boy , even if we'd won you'll would've found a way to blame him for everything! 🙄

Travis hit deep balls that erased FSU errors. Daniels didn't even try to throw a deep ball. Once lsu made errors in the 2nd half, lsu couldn't overcome them.
They ran 2 high safety all night they couldn't call shot plays.. we had 3 crucial drops that could've changed the game

@Royalwar0305 you think somehow when nuss gets in that suddenly, those guys are open? They are always open. Daniels just doesn't throw it. When you have a 1 on 1, you throw it to leverage and give your guy the chance to make the play. Just like you do when you have fsu wrs. Fsu guys were covered, their qb just knows how to make throws downfield that gives them the best chance to win. Daniels can't do that. It's clear a day.
@Royalwar0305 you are not going to win most big games if you can't overcome a few drops. It happens every game. Fsu had more than we did, but they make plays downfield that make up for them. You can't overcome them with a dink and dunk offense.

Two more classes. DB’s all transfers. Not at full scholarship. Running game non-existent. Will Emery play? Will prob take 2 years to really be at full strength. Then see where BK is. And USC next year. Perk is Von Miller. Why try to change that?

From what I saw, if LSU can win half it’s games this year I’d be surprised. Clearly Kelly isn’t in touch with reality if he thinks this team improved over last year.

FSU is a very good team. Not sure I'm ready to call them elite -- we'll see in week 4 (against Clemson). LSU fans should hold their head high. The only reason why FSU is as good as it was -- was Norvell's masterclass in the transfer portal. I think every coach in a P5 school that was not in a bad place (like FSU was a few years ago) is still trying to understand how to use that Portal. Also, Coach Brian Kelly warned you all earlier this summer that he felt LSU was still at least another year away. Go rock the rest of the SEC West. You can still get to the championship! Go Noles! This loss has to be the most embarrassing loss ever in LSU history. As long as Brian Kelly insist on starting Jayden Daniels, Kelly's lame ass offense will continue to be too one-dimensional and easy to stop. At least with Garrett Nussmeier, who throws long passes, the offense is far more dynamic and much harder to stop.
LSU is a great team with a new old coach. FSU was glad to have an opportunity to play with a great SEC team . Looking forward to more good games with great SEC teams .

FSU not a first half team. The team that wins is the team that changes during halftime and makes the needed adjustments. FSU does that. Time to move on from BK. Don't open your mouth BK when you know you can't back it up. Seems a coach that's 3-10 versus AP top 10 is worth the money you paid for. BK is turning LSU into the ND he coached. BK won't last the season. If they can lt beat Bama, look for him to get the boot.
