Yep, he is making it clear what the goal is, and they are putting one helluva roster together for the future. I'm excited about what's going on right now, but what's coming in the future has the chance to be something special.

​@rachet0708 I think the Kelly era will be looked at as the golden years oF LSU. Even though we've had some great years it always 4 or 5 year between each natty. I think Kelly will do better. He's the best coach we've ever had beside Saban.

Depending if Nuss returns or not and then depends on how good Colin Hurley is who has impressed a lot so far as word has it and who is the same age as Bryce as he was a 5 star top 5 qb for the 2025 class (damn just realized how loaded we got on qb and basically 2 top 5 qbs for 2025 class) but he was able to enroll early and entered the 2024 class

There's one receiver in this class with the potential to be Calvin Johnson athletically (6'5"-6'6", 230+ lbs, 4.3 40, 40+" vert, etc), and that's Derek Meadows. He's not there yet, but he maybe could get there. Question is whether he and Hankton can harness that athleticism (like with Brian Thomas).

Yeah, ain't that the truth. Kelly shows little raw emotion when he speaks of his team. Meanwhile he has Hankton and Raymond out there landing some championship players rather than just bodies. He knows what's happening.

Meadows is also 6’6” so that’s nuts in general if he is good enough to play every down wr which seems likely as he would be listed at te if he wasn’t capable of being an every down wr. He gonna be scary on the field. Coud be crazy if you have him and Trey dez green lined up in the red zone together, could see crazy formation with them in opposing sides or bunched up or on the same side and bust throwing jump balls to either should be a 75%+ completion rate imo in the red zone if we do this under 10 yards. Francis will bleed gold for this team so he will be a dawg no matter what imo but just a matter of him getting in the field quick enough depending on the rest of the talent and then just how good he can play over his ranking!

I don't. While I know where you're coming from, stars aren't everything. Justin Jefferson, Battle, Chark, Gage, Elaire, etc. Just a few of sub 4 star prospects that turned out to be studs.

One of LSU best players ever was 3 star. Alot LSU top players from the past were 3 or 4 star player's.

Rankings aren't everything. Some guys put in the work and outplay their rankings. Nabers was a top 200 player and went top 5 in the draft

@shanewilliams6718 nabers was still a 4 star. A better example would have been Justin Jefferson. The dude was a 2-star prospect and is now regarded as the best wr in the NFL.
