A Caronlina Pinglo vintage haul video isn't complete without you trying to convince us that THIS vintage black bag is really unique and you just HAD to pick it up, despite your black bag ban. 😂 Just teasing you. 😉 Always enjoy your videos and please update us on how your seamstress takes in that gorgeous 40s dress!
omg STOPPP 😂 Its true tho, I'm so guilty of doing that.... I must be stopped!!! It's not even that I l LOVE black handbags its that I come across them more often and they are a good price and I have no self control LOL.
I have started to put on Vintage Fashion Parades at Aged Care places , for the residents. They love it ! The last outfit modelled is a full vintage wedding gown plus accessories . I adore your collection and how you put things together. Well done !
I think that dress can be fitted fairly easily with the right pleat. It already looks great. The glove box is beautiful and looks like new. And I love those little picture frames, particularly the one that looks like a locket.
Yes! I took it to my seamstress and she actually liked my thoughts on how to alter it so thats what we did ! It should be ready by the end of the week ! 😊 Thank you !!
The glove box is a good find. I need one. My gloves are always losing its partner. The thing I enjoy watching for in your videos is seeing what you will wear. I love the dress you are wearing and the one you thrifted.
Those little frames are so darling! I loved the picture frame display you showed in the antique store too; I always keep my eyes out for Art Deco metal frames. Love the new dress, please update us if you are able to get it altered successfully!
Thank you !! Omg those frames were amazing, I would've bought one if they weren't in the $250-$450 range 🙃 Yess I will! It will be ready by the end of the week
Thank you for posting these nice little videos, Caroline. I enjoy seeing your outings and antique markets everywhere. I've been to St. Jacob's for the food and produce market, but I've never been to the antique market. I'll have to look for it.
Wow that tiny double frame just inspired me to mount my mom's locket on a vintage pin that the cameo is missing from! I think it will give the same vibe. Thanks :)
You should buy a dress or top in the same green as your dressing gown! Is it a side zip on the dress? Might have to take out zip and take dress in on both sides. And reinsert zip. Back zips are easier to alter I have been told
I've been looking for a top in that exact shade of green and I haven't been able to find one! I love that shade its beautiful. I actually took my dress to my seamstress and she liked my idea of how to alter it! It should be ready by the end of the week 😊
You were right to get that dress it's beautiful, darts or pleats can take it in. I find older dresses are easier to take in, maybe because clothing was meant to be handed off and not thrown away!
Hahaha yess it doesn't look as bad on camera, in person its very obvious the dress doesn't fit. But don't worry I took it to my seamstress and we are altering it, it should be ready by the end of the week 😊
Your dress is beautiful. I think you could even get away with wearing it a little large. The glove box is something that I need! I didnt realize that such items even existed. What sort of vintage girl doesn't know that??? Sending kind regards from the Yarra Valley, Australia.
Thank you !! it actually looks way better on camera than in person, in person you can tell its too big. The biggest issue is the neckline, it makes the whole dress look to big on my frame. But I took it to my seamstress and we are altering it! It should be ready the the end of the week 😊 Yess glove boxes are so beautiful, I love the ones from the turn of the century-1920s but the ones I find are usually in bad shape 😢 Crossing my fingers you find a glove box!
Sorry, but I hope this is ok to ask. I need to ask women that are doing the time periods I want to do (1930, 1940, to 1950) My question is what would be the right/good hair cut to make a good hair style for the time periods I said? Please and help or where I can find help? Thank you

I didn't know they had boxes for gloves.
Yess haha they are longer boxes to fit the shape of gloves 😊
Where did you get your shoes

Per 3:34. That dress does look really nice. Is it really too big as in even if you were to have it altered?
Per 5:54, . . and it looks like I've spoken too soon .🙂
