A BJJ short film/My daughter's first Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament as a white belt

My daughter Josie started training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu a little over a year ago and this is her first BJJ tournament. She and her coaches felt it was time to put what she has learned over the past year to the test in a competition. She was really nervous and didn't think she would do very well. Once she got through her first match (where she was submitted) she started gaining confidence. This is how the competition played out.

Definitely seemed more comfortable in the gi.Takes alot of courage to even step on the mat!Keep at it and it and you will be successful!👊😎

She was really nervous! She thought she would do better in No Gi than with the Gi. She'll definitely get better! I'm super proud of her!!
