    Easy on your clubs John, I don't want another "Here comes the putter throw" incident! Maybe afterwords I'll take you out to Red Lobster, my treat.

    Hey john just watching these videos I have a couple tips of advice
    1. Live with bogeys at your handicap if you make a bogey that is your par and you should be happy with those and not dawn on bogeys
    2. Line your putts up with a line on the ball that will help you commit to putts a lot more
    3. Choose a shot and commit to it fully small irons and short pitches commitment is the most important thing.
    4. Play golf to have fun scoring is big but you’ll learn when you play golf to have fun and not score your scores will drop.

    John, do you follow the Golfsidekick channel? IDK about you , but from following his teaching I have really improved. I have been golfing for ten years and his thought process has saved me 7 strokes consistently. Just a thought man. Love the vids glad you are back!

    I'm seeing a pattern here... almost every downhill putt you hit long, and almost every uphill putt you hit it short. Easy fix. Don't change your initial estimates, just add/subtract a yard or two based on the slope. Done.

    I'm a huge fan of all your content. As a fellow fat golfer. I find it refreshing to watch someone with the same struggles I deal with on the course. I would love to get into making TH-cam golf videos. Always wondered what you shot overall score wise? Also what type of setup do you have for filming?

      Fat Guy Golf ok yea same I’m a 30 handi literally starting playing 6 months ago all my friends 20 handi and way above. I use Srixon soft feel or callaway superhot. I tried pro vs but way to much spin for my slice. Great videos.

    I’ve heard you say in the past, people have told you to keep your hands in, Thats why you’re pulling all your shots off the tee. Everything needs to be in line. You don’t wanna try to keep your hands in too much.

  • @SilverBro96
    @SilverBro96 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You need a impact bag for your swing, keep them hands leading the shaft in through the impact zone you have a decent turn just a little tweak of the hand on the down swing

  • @LuckyViral-m4m
    @LuckyViral-m4m 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    You have to get your back to your target when you swing and then swing thru and hold you’re finish

    Wouldn't worry. I'm watching from UK. I was at driving range other day hit it really well. Then played my 1st 18 in Months (bad weather for months over here). Hit it so well at range then proceeded to play awful and go round in 120 total.

    Try to finish your swing through the ball a little longer on your driver! It will cut down on the duck hook! Good luck! Keep making videos that relate to a lot of people!

    I know you're getting alot of advise so what's one more right? Lol. Definitely looks like you're getting your hands way to involved in the swing. Also a little bit of over swinging.

    @evanzehm1754 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Try making your swing a little shorter and try to finish your swing. You will get though the ball better and your club face at impact will be a lot more square. Straight drives coming

  • @belaireguy4117
    @belaireguy4117 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I suggest starting over and learning the fundamentals of the swing, does not matter one's physical make up. Consistency is everything and trust will always have to be in play, golf is a very difficult undertaking for the vast majority. Most also quit, accept where you are at and let the frustration go. The potential is there, maybe that's why watching you are so frustrating. You know how to hit the ball far and accurate, enough said.
    All the best to you and yours, be smooth and trust and play better. Take care.

  • @opiebaby313
    @opiebaby313 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    You have to remember to have fun. Otherwise, your whole process of improving and getting better is pointless. Take your scorecards every time you play and log your fairways hit and your greens hit during a round. Log how many putts you are taking. These are all stats kept by the pros during their rounds and utilize that data to see where you really are struggling. The only thing I'm picking out is you are a ton off balance with the driver and longer clubs. You are trying for so much power when you should be working on accuracy. All that weight lifting will increase your drive 10 to 50 yards by the end of golf season brother. Be patient. Again, I've watched every video you have posted. Keep going. Progress isnt overnight especially for someone who has played as little as you have trying to improve!

    When the driver isn't cooperating leave it in the bag. Work out the issues on the range and give it a go on the next round with a little more confidence. I'd rather lose 40-50 yards off my tee shot than have to punch it out through the trees after a duck hook. IMHO

    Don’t be hard on your clubs and yourself. You’ve made some good shots. Just do a little easy homework why hooking off the tee so much. Try starting off 180 degree swing into three quarters golf swing. That way you’ll figure out and find way to hit the ball much more straighter.

Lol I wouldn't try to hit draws and fades either just play your swing, trust me when I say have fun play your swing the rest will come with time oh and driving range get your ass there!!!
