Yeah been watching you for 2-3 years now John, I gotta say great improvement over such a short time! Try putting left hand low. I see you have a tendency to try and "control" the ball with the putter, or you get "flippy" with the wrists.(can cause inconsistency) Just practice left hand low and it will give you a feel of using the body to drag the putter through, once you feel comfortable with that then judge for yourself about switching back. Left hand low (like putting backwards left handed) has improved my speed with putting. Hope that helps big guy, keep doing what your doing! Great job! Thank you sir, and I always enjoy the content!

Have you ever considered using a 8iron bump and run instead of those long putts off the green ? Just swing it like a putter and the club will do all the work

Geez...You guys need to lighten up a little, after all this is early spring golf. It takes everybody a while to get back in the groove. Not to mention the courses aren't in shape yet. Chalk this up to practice rounds for the season. Don't get frustrated with your game or yourself. Keep it up!!
I know you don't need internet golf tips but to keep myself from pulling my shots left i just make sure i i have the feeling of hitting the inside of the ball. You really can't pull it left from that position. Stops me from coming over the top and pulling
John I know you get a zillion swing tips in every video but lately the videos I've seen you've changed your swing and basically are hitting what looks like punch shots on every swing. You're not rotating like you used to. In the previous video (I think) Shaun was giving you a tip and what he was doing was trying to get your backswing on plane. If it's not on plane then you're going to be fighting the downswing all the way to get it back square. Try keeping the clubface low and pointed at the ball for the first foot of the backswing then allow your arms to naturally rotate into your turn. At impact don't let your left shoulder fly open and your head behind the ball.
OK> thru the use of some clever editing, you could have just re-enacted the whole scene. Or superimposed a shot tracer to show the roll of the ball. I got my only hole in one on nmbr 6 par 3 at Cedar Brook CC in NC and there was not a soul around. When I picked up my ball out of the hole, I said.... God, You saw it...
Everytime you pull and snap hook your driver you've got some crazy ugly chicken wing with you right arm. Keep that arm tight to your body and you'll likely stop coming over the top so hard and I'd guess you'll clear up the big stick. Every single time you slice or shank you are cutting your swing short. Follow through smoothly and id be willing to bet you'll slice and shank waaaaay less. Your short game....just watch the dang ball and stop pulling your head! Keep the sway in your body down to while chipping or playing short. Spend some time with the club pros in your area and lock some of this down!! I enjoy the videos bud.

There are 2 courses at whistling straits: The straits course where the ryder cup will be played, and the irish course which is the one we can play. Rick Shiels is a pro who studies the game for a job, and he knows the science. And pros on the pga tour shoots 80's so....at the end of the day it's about consistency. Shawn will never be a scratch golfer because his swing brings in to many inconsistencies.

Keep your wrist firm when chipping
gg, practice on a chipping / putting green instead of playing 9 holes and your short game will improve

Especially get some new wedges. You have no feel and control when you have such huge heads, time to learn a new library of shots

Take practice swings that stop at the top of the backswing to work in your top position if you fix this you will gain 20 + yards and tons of control
