Perfect!! Brother I can't thank you enough for putting together such a simple to follow and understand video on this very issue I've been struggling with for days now. Your video is smooth, direct and easy to understand and I thank you.
Very Good Jerry. Yeah....my card changed from Disk to Android as well. Just finished charging my batteries on the Air 2S. Headed out now to shoot some video. Thanks for the video......👍
Thanks for helping me with the RC Pro Enterprise, heck DJI couldn't help me. I still need help getting the pictures from the SD card to my MacBook Air. I watched your next video but that was a older controller, different settings. Do you have any other info for the latest controller? Thank you for the help!
@@middleloopvideo It is not. I have a Mini 3 pro and it works great. It's odd I can't get this to work. I wish you were in WA I'd give it to you to see if you could find out why it doesn't work. I really appreciate you reaching out!! Thank you!
Hi James, I'm not sure what you mean by "Standard Controller." DJI practically releases a new controller with every new drone. I think their intention with the original Smart Controller was to have an RC that could be used for all. Then they came out with the RC Pro (which this video covers). Now they are out with the DJI RC. Not to mention the DJI RC-N1 (no screen -- requires a mobile device as the screen) as well as the RCs for all the bigger drones. It might help if you tell me which drone you fly with it... I think you already said it has a built-in screen. Thanks! -Jerry
Got it. Thanks for clarifying. We don't have that drone or controller. But, I'm hearing it's different from the other RCs... no apps (home screen) for example. So you don't have the files app? Can you get into "Settings"? If so, there should be "Storage" in there and at the bottom of that, "Portable Storage". If you tap on that, you should come to a screen that looks a lot like the video... where you can tap the 3 dots in the upper right and then "Storage Settings" which is where you can find "Format" I hope this helps. I wish I had the controller to verify. -Jerry

Glad it helped. Thank you for the feedback.
I always format my Memory card the first time I used it in a device. Thanks for sharing.
That's probably a good practice. Thanks for the comment.
@@middleloopvideo .
Great. Thanks for a very helpful video.
Thank you 🙏!
Well done on the details. I just got the controller and I have watched your videos on how to use it. Nice job!
Thank you for the kind words

Are you sure it’s writing to the SD Card?

@@scuddrunner1 okay. So it’s not a read problem. It’s a write problem. I forget, did you format the card on the device?
how about formatting the sd card in the standard rc controller not the one where you have to use a mobile device

I am referring to the mini 3 pro with the rc controller that has the screen, not the pro controller
