If there's one good thing I'll say about the show, it's how they present the "history" of the location. Narration isn't too bad. A shame they embellish certain facts and lie to twist things to suit their narrative. I guess the comedy aspect too, when, for some reason, they break character and kinda stop following the script for a moment. There are a few genuine moments of what looks like good friends having fun. That said, I do not believe in the paranormal. However, for some reason the idea of there being something resembling life after death just stuck with me. I sometimes wonder, is there really anything beyond that invisible veil we can't reach? When my time comes, will I still be able to see and touch things? Maybe see how society advances? Honestly, it's pretty ridiculous for a realist to dwell on such notions. While quite a few of these "Paranormal Investigators" are liars, frauds and/or boring, I do agree with one thing: I want answers on if there's life after death.

I was thinking the same thing. I used to enjoy the show (even if it was fabricated), but once we got into double digit seasons, it became apparent that Bagans had started reaching to keep an audience. Reaching to the point where it became brutally uncomfortable to watch his horrible acting.

I was a big fan of Ghost Adventures, and smth I don't think ppl realize is how fucked up Zak's comments about Aaron's love life are, bc throughout the first few seasons, he and his wife were having issues at the time. His wife ended up leaving him bc he brought bad spirits back with him so often. Zak exploited the hell out of that in multiple episodes. Even as a kid, that left a bad taste in my mouth. I always liked Aaron and Nick and wasn't particularly fond of Zak for a few reasons, but that was a big one

One of the reasons Aaron or Nick have never said "yeah, Zak is a dick" is bc they've both said he's rly diff off-camera, and what comes off as rude to us is actually just him being nervous. But personally, fake or not, it feels wrong to exploit someone's relationship troubles like that and I've never liked it :/

I've heard somewhere else as well that when Nick left and started his own show on the same network zach went out of his way to get it shut down. I cant say 100% but it seems plausible with other things I've hears. And it's a real shame cuz I enjoyed this show.
My favorite ghost adventure EVER is one of the new Orleans episodes. Nick and Aaron are doing an investigation at someone's voodoo business. The ghost/demon then cusses them both out for several minutes

I'm glad to have somebody else confirm this. I tried to go back and watch some after a few years and couldn't make it through an episode, it was nowhere near the quality I remembered. Shout out to Ghost Files over on the TH-cam channel Watcher. It's everything a ghost show needs to be, with none of the bullshit and far more fun - and pretty embarrassing for these three that two youtube guys can lead a far better production. *Editing to add, also mad props to you for going out there. It's still a cool part of the episode. And exactly the kind of bullshit mistake I make all the time so yo, that's appreciated
When they first started they were so much more genuine and their episodes at least APPEARED more realistic. But of course as time went on , they had to amp it up and it just became unwatchable. If you watch their very first documentary from 2004 it is INSANE and I dunno, to me their reactions seem 10000000% genuine and they catch some insane shit lol.

According to an interview Aaron did, the first few seasons were pretty genuine, with little to no extra noises or orbs added in but once like like 3~ season hit, the producers started adding half the stuff on the show

I saw someone do that on a TH-cam video at a Native American Burial Mound that is at least 1000 years old & is currently pegged at closer to 2000. My favorite episode of Ghost Adventures is the Stardust Ranch one. "Ive killed 18 grays with a samurai sword." Dude tries to show them pictures and it's just a katana next to raw chicken covered in BBQ sauce 😂 not to mention all the clips of the ranch owner trying to scare off aliens with his AR on horseback. Wild that Ghost Adventures tried to pass that episode off as Serious.
My friends and I used to watch the show calling it "dbags and ghosts" its pretty hilarious. Some highlights are: - Zach Baggins trying to fight the ghosts almost every episode - Zach doing poses while he talks to make sure he's always flexing - Aaron constantly screaming in fear about nothing - The commercial break transistion where it looks like Zach is trying to eat a light bulb One of my favorite parts is when they used a spirit box to talk to a ghost and the ghost told Zach to drink mercury.
I remember an old one where the EVP actually caught something clear & easy to understand at an abandoned old folks' home where it was just being sarcastic and mildly annoyed at their question, to which Zak plays it back 3 times, then voices over "Was this ghost being a smart ass?!?!?"
I remember this episode. It was when Zak slipped on ice while trying to read a love poem. They replayed it over and over so you didn't have to. Because back at that time a lot of people didn't have a TV that could rewind live tv.
One of my favorite clips from this series is when Zak was interviewing a woman who claimed the ghost had touched her thigh or something along those lines, and Zak's response was "were you aroused?" or something stupid like that. I was dying laughing, wish I could remember which episode it was.

I still watch ghost adventures with my dad and grandpa just to poke fun and laugh at them, but some of the newer episodes genuinely give us second-hand embarrassment and just leaves us going "what the fuck is even happening??"

Its why these ghost shows are heavily scripted, "real" paranormal hunting is basically a "travel" exploration show without actual ghosts, might as well call it urban exploration; its why urban exp, don't catch anything.

My brother was in the Arkansas National Guards for almost 20 years and spent every other weekend at Fort Chaffee. He said when Ghost Adventures came down there to investigate,the guy showing them the buildings and telling them the history doesn't even work there.its someone Ghost Adventures hired to play as a "tour guide"

I don't comment like this ever, and I'm not saying it's worth anything, but I know I would feel good if someone commented on the music I create, so I can only imagine the same is true about the content you create! Bit of a long winded story that you probably won't ever see, but I've been dealing with some insane health issues lately. In and out of the hospital constantly, and whenever I'm sick, rolling around on the floor, i throw on one of your videos and it's seriously comforting. You're funny, but also genuinely entertaining. ALSO the episode where they went to a hotel which had a serial killer there in like the 70s, the Ghost Adventures team was incredibly comfortable and okay with lying about the hotel saying they were keeping dirty old mattresses with blood on them in the barn and would swap them out (which they didn’t obviously do, the hotel came out about it, they were mad)

There’s documentation that the paranormal activity in that house was legit. EMTs, hospital staff, and social workers were interviewed by police and most were non believers until they saw the young possessed boy walking on walls and doing other creepy shit..

Personally I didn't have much of an issue with Ghost Adventures until that episode where they went to some island where they dumped a lot of bodies that had died from the plague or something. Zac got "possessed" in that episode and they must have gotten a really good response from that bit because it seemed like Zac got "possessed" in most episodes after that.
I watch this show called Ghost Files where these two guys (Shane and Ryan) go ghost hunting, but I like it and believe they are not faking it because Shane is a skeptic while Ryan is a believer and you can see both points of view of what they believe. They also like to joke around and goof off which makes the show funny and it doesn't feel too serious
Zak's attempt at game literally made this one of the hardest videos to get through that I've ever watched. I'm being sincere here too. Also, I subscribed for the fact that you actually freaking went to the hotel. I've been wondering what he wrote on that letter for years. I also somehow didnt realize I only lived like an hour away.

And they would invent something new each episode and ask the ghost if they were ready to pass on and if so they could go in the box or whatever they had created so they could try to help the ghosts pass on. Also I think they were Christians??? Idk it was honestly kind of wholesome and I wish I could remember the name of it

I don't know what it is, but I love watching these paranormal shows. I've watched a lot of GA in my time and the newest episodes are by far the worst. They have completely ditched the whole video/audio evidence portion (which I enjoy just to see the practical effects and how they use it to create a narrative) in place of them just acting weird and possessed. It's Zak's bread and butter in order to get everyone to focus back on him if he's feeling like he isn't the center of attention. My favorite was in a recent episode where he started acting ill and one of the other members started talking about something else and Zak broke character to chastise him for changing the subject while he was channeling something. Great times.

Zac didn’t sleep there, and he was taking the situation seriously as well. Knowing that the family has gone through the trauma, believe it or not. And again, he didn’t sleep there. He was literally just sitting there and attempting to document. Nothing nasty.
I think I remember that episode. I think it was the one were they find a toy that kept saying '6' repeatedly. I heard rumours that the hauntings were fake and were caused by one of the kids.

I was a big fan of Ghost Adventures, and smth I don't think ppl realize is how fucked up Zak's comments about Aaron's love life are, bc throughout the first few seasons, he and his wife were having issues at the time. His wife ended up leaving him bc he brought bad spirits back with him so often. Zak exploited the hell out of that in multiple episodes. Even as a kid, that left a bad taste in my mouth. I always liked Aaron and Nick and wasn't particularly fond of Zak for a few reasons, but that was a big one

One of the reasons Aaron or Nick have never said "yeah, Zak is a dick" is bc they've both said he's rly diff off-camera, and what comes off as rude to us is actually just him being nervous. But personally, fake or not, it feels wrong to exploit someone's relationship troubles like that and I've never liked it :/

My favorite ghost adventure EVER is one of the new Orleans episodes. Nick and Aaron are doing an investigation at someone's voodoo business. The ghost/demon then cusses them both out for several minutes

When they first started they were so much more genuine and their episodes at least APPEARED more realistic. But of course as time went on , they had to amp it up and it just became unwatchable. If you watch their very first documentary from 2004 it is INSANE and I dunno, to me their reactions seem 10000000% genuine and they catch some insane shit lol.

According to an interview Aaron did, the first few seasons were pretty genuine, with little to no extra noises or orbs added in but once like like 3~ season hit, the producers started adding half the stuff on the show

@@dxlltopia he left after season 10. I think I stopped watching (religiously) around season 8 so I didn't notice until a few years after, but it definitely doesn't feel the same. He's had a few different ghost projects since then but none have taken off as well as ghost adventures.

My favorite episode of Ghost Adventures is the Stardust Ranch one. "Ive killed 18 grays with a samurai sword." Dude tries to show them pictures and it's just a katana next to raw chicken covered in BBQ sauce 😂 not to mention all the clips of the ranch owner trying to scare off aliens with his AR on horseback. Wild that Ghost Adventures tried to pass that episode off as Serious.
My friends and I used to watch the show calling it "dbags and ghosts" its pretty hilarious. Some highlights are:
- Zach Baggins trying to fight the ghosts almost every episode
- Zach doing poses while he talks to make sure he's always flexing
- Aaron constantly screaming in fear about nothing
- The commercial break transistion where it looks like Zach is trying to eat a light bulb
One of my favorite parts is when they used a spirit box to talk to a ghost and the ghost told Zach to drink mercury.
I remember an old one where the EVP actually caught something clear & easy to understand at an abandoned old folks' home where it was just being sarcastic and mildly annoyed at their question, to which Zak plays it back 3 times, then voices over "Was this ghost being a smart ass?!?!?"
I remember this episode. It was when Zak slipped on ice while trying to read a love poem. They replayed it over and over so you didn't have to. Because back at that time a lot of people didn't have a TV that could rewind live tv.

There’s documentation that the paranormal activity in that house was legit. EMTs, hospital staff, and social workers were interviewed by police and most were non believers until they saw the young possessed boy walking on walls and doing other creepy shit..

Personally I didn't have much of an issue with Ghost Adventures until that episode where they went to some island where they dumped a lot of bodies that had died from the plague or something. Zac got "possessed" in that episode and they must have gotten a really good response from that bit because it seemed like Zac got "possessed" in most episodes after that.

I watch this show called Ghost Files where these two guys (Shane and Ryan) go ghost hunting, but I like it and believe they are not faking it because Shane is a skeptic while Ryan is a believer and you can see both points of view of what they believe. They also like to joke around and goof off which makes the show funny and it doesn't feel too serious

I don't know what it is, but I love watching these paranormal shows. I've watched a lot of GA in my time and the newest episodes are by far the worst. They have completely ditched the whole video/audio evidence portion (which I enjoy just to see the practical effects and how they use it to create a narrative) in place of them just acting weird and possessed. It's Zak's bread and butter in order to get everyone to focus back on him if he's feeling like he isn't the center of attention. My favorite was in a recent episode where he started acting ill and one of the other members started talking about something else and Zak broke character to chastise him for changing the subject while he was channeling something. Great times.

I think I remember that episode. I think it was the one were they find a toy that kept saying '6' repeatedly. I heard rumours that the hauntings were fake and were caused by one of the kids.
