South Goa dishes sugar is added...north Goa many don't don't ad sugar,. N I do add a small piece of ginger n not too much garlic .. will try this with sugar n more garlic without ginger

Hi Jacinta, you can use coconut milk from a can, but the taste would differ as the natural extract of coconut milk will give a lovely taste.. and yes I will post the recipe in the description. Thank you for watching :)
Mam when i grind masala for sorak my curry splits means water and masala gets separated. Why it happens . Can u help me out. I changed the coconut shop. I even changed chatty. I changer the blade of my mixi jar but still the same . I will try as u showed but can u tell me why my curry is not becoming proper

This is a very unique sourak recipe .
Green chillies to be added at the boiling point.one can give a twist .Eat with hard crusted bread (pao) n next day eating it's yummy.
Yes it's tastes more better in earthern pots n wood fire

Turned out perfect. I did turmeric leaf from one of fhe other recipe which added a subtle nice flavour
A small piece of raw ginger and turmeric and fresh coriander may add to the mixture while grinding. You will have a small twist in taste!
