1:48 I will highly recommend "Grace" live by Jeff Buckley. I prefer the "on the BBC one Show" version, but skip the 20 second intro by the presenter, it's cringe. But Jeff was a Ren level musical genius of his time, a singer and guitarist, but died, to soon, just after his first album got him International acclaim. His ode "Mojo Pin" live at Glastonbury is also a masterpiece. Subbed, btw!
Ren is a humble guy but I really like that he decided to flex on this track! It's like he's had a confidence boost from all the love he's been receiving!.. I look forward to seeing the growth of this man's unbelievable talent.

@@TeslasTeaParty Braggy rap isn't really my thing, but he keeps me on this one with all the subtext to his actual illnesses. When he drops songs it's pretty unlikely we're all going to like every one since he'll be in and out of different genres, but at least we've got 12 more songs to hear before he rights post-Hi Ren stuff.

But because I know his back story it allows me to put it into some kind of context, Which also means perhaps I won't be so quick to judge other artists off of the back of one or two songs in the future.

Don't know if it'll stop me being judgemental, but I'd written off the entire rap genre however many years ago. Then someone pointed me towards Eyedea and I went down the rabbit hole of underground, smart rappers.
