Love Dolphine254. I always watch her videos. A real sister, down to earth, humble, positive attitude, joyful, i can say so many things about Dolphine254
The Swahili language in Uganda was discouraged by the Baganda separatists who falsely imagined that Buganda Kingdom was self-sustaining state on its own. For example, in 1947 the Buganda Lukiiko passed a resolution against Swahili. By the time of independence in 1962, and soon after the 1966 political crisis and the 1971 coup de etat by the military, the Swahili language was already too unpopular in southern and central Uganda.
They need to embrace and learn swahili, swahili speaking countries are doing well, it would be a plus if EA can communicate in one language right from DRC to Ethiopia
@@mutai373 yes, the government adopted a policy two years ago to make Swahili language compulsory in schools. But I don't see any effort to implement the policy so far. Uganda really needs Swahili if we're going to benefit fully in a united East African Community/ EAC.

Arabic is the most spoken language in Africa with over 170 million speakers, Swahili is 2nd with 100 million speakers.

@@ClaraBenjamin-x7e Arabic is not African language. Then include English.
Who speaks Arabic in Africans?😂😂 Maybe Egyptians or Moroccans
Lawrence you are a rich guy you can afford uber unlike the ordinary locals
Really! That's surprising
Oooh God say I don't afford uber, what is ordinary locals, just talk about your this is very sad
Unfortunately the Gen Z burned the Boeing aeroplane that was at Uhuru Park 😢.., ,was it refurbished?..,
Gen Z ama hired old goons
Stop it, English remains the most spoken language in east africa and Africa at large
Now look at this one 😂😂
We're talking of native African language, English is not an African language
