Dear Ashlynne, I've been with a depression episode those weeks and one of the things that cheers me up and makes me feel inspired and motivated are your videos. So, I want to thank you for that. You are an amazing person and youtuber, you should never doubt that 😍
I decluttered my linen cupboard a while ago. Everything in there is stuff that we use regularly. All the items now have a separate baskets and each basket has a label. Very easy for the family to find what they need without my help 😂😂

Just getting a "new" pillow case is a great alternative to getting rid of the entire pillow (unless the inside is worn out).

I you don't mind me asking. Why don't you get clothes altered if is just a bit too long (like the green dress) but you love everything else about it? Wouldn't it be worth it if you knew you would wear it a lot then? Sorry just asking ❤

Currently decluttering the rooms in my home 1 by 1 and it truly makes the place feel light. On another note, a fun way to enjoy puzzles and have them be multipurpose is to choose puzzles that have pictures of things that u can decorate your home with. When I build my 1000 piece puzzles, I do not take them apart. I place them on cardboard, stick the edges and then cover them with a laminate or contact paper. Then I put them on display around my home. 💞
You can turn that pillow case into produce bags. To avoid all the plastic bag declutering, get some reusable bags and keep them in an easy access place so you never forget them.

Ugh, I’m about to declutter my entire kitchen because we’ve finally bought new furniture. Very excited about the new kitchen, but having a hard time getting myself together to actually declutter the stuff, especially since there is a bunch of things left over from the previous owners of our house. Anyway, as always an amazing video! I’m excited to find out what is the next one going to be about :)

Do you keep your filled in bullet journal from past years? Or do you let those go? Im trying to decide if I should keep my old ones or let them go. There are some journal entries in there..
I always wonder the same thing. I’m keeping my 2021 planner because I accomplished so much I didn’t think I would and this one’s special. The ones I got over the years that I started and stopped get recycled.

You might also try to dye the jean jacket if the color is the only thing wrong. I know you’re doing a collab with poshmark here so you might just want to have something to sell there. But I’ve thrifted denim that was great but color was lame and grabbed a bottle of denim dye for only $3ish

There are plenty of instructional videos for game rules on TH-cam - you might prefer that to reading them.
You don’t need to declutter; you need a tailor.
I appreciate that the sponsor of your video actually has something to do with the rest of your video. That’s sadly unusual these days.
We are so spoiled, getting rid of items we loved enough to get them, but no longer do because of... weak justifications. You love the dress but it's too long? shorten it. You like this sweater but realize you "haven't reached for it' often enough? Just wear it. The jeans are great but the waist gapes a bit? take it in... Much better for the planet, and more genuine minimalism. Having only a few clothes is wonderful but if you keep replacing them while it's not necessary, is it really minimalistic? (I am not talking about something that doesn't not fit or is really uncomfortable or too worn out, of course these are better off with a new owner or even recycled.) We need to be more careful with our love of things and people, in this throw-away society where we are so quick to 'burn' what we loved so much. We are privileged to have what we have, and should be more appreciative and mindful. So many people cannot or can barely afford even the basics. And the planet is flooded with everything we discard.
I think she talks about selling them so they can be enjoyed by someone else.
@@paigehooban1231 Yes of course, and it is a good thing! But nowadays with all the decluttering many donation centers and thrift stores are overwhelmed with donations and no longer accept them...same with second-hand websites as not everything gets sold. In the end, we don't know what to do with the trash anymore ...Because of overconsumption in many parts of the world, massive decluttering has become a huge source of pollution taking over the planet. Ashlynn is a wonderful example to follow in general and very inspiring, but I just took the opportunity to say that sometimes we can use some things for a while again if we think about it, instead of replacing it later. Thus slowing down a bit the pollution process if many people do it. Thinking of our older generations' ways before overconsumption took over our world.
