I think Sulaiman never loved Mahidevran and that affected him to choose Mehmet and later other Hurrem Sons over Mustafa, when Mustafa was young if you remember he disrespected Ibrahim while eating also kept saying this is my palace and I guess in reality it was worse Mahidevran kept feeling the child head with hater and anger and greed and that caused Mustafa to be executed

Suleiman was so jealous and scared of mustafa popularity with the army and people. He was seeing as a threat as mustafa could have gotten rid of suleiman so easily. Suleiman was even giving nightmares about that. He is a fool who killed a great future ruler with heart and dignity.
Noticed this thing. Only the woman who calls sultan by his name and does not give any respect to him or care about it goes to halvet, and becomes the future queen. Many examples. Hurrem, Nurbanu, now this Anastasia who will be future Kosem i guess.
Then stop watching it and complaining. You can't expyit to be the same with the previous one . I've not watched The other magnificent century but all this yapping about it is making me absolutely hate it already.
This episode shows the difference between Osman's and Ahmed's Reign. Osman was a far more confident ruler than Ahmed but he had no loyal advisors around him like Haci or Dervish. Those two men made all the difference.
Ahmed definitely need a mother like Hurrem or Nubana strong women who can do anything for their kids Ahmed mother is very weak to defeat Safiye because I have realised that if you are not brave and evil you will be defeated and thrown on the side
Handan has no chance to gain power as she has no such support as Hurrem had and it was too dangerous to confront the Sultan or Valide directly. She has managed her son to survive and to get enthroned, she knows all pashas who support Safiye, so she was not dumb. She might be then in her late twenties probably, and already got the highest status for a woman and the smart powerful and rich rival as Safiye.
Unfortunately Handan did her best. Acted as first female regent ever and helped Ahmed a lot. Every letter had to pass through her before Ahmed. Handan joined hands with Safiye to defeat Halime and then at last also exiled Safiye. Unfortunately it was her bad luck having such a strong enemy like Safiye was. A ruler in shadow with deep roots everywhere.

I'm not saying that Ahmet is a weak emperor. But, I just finished Magnificent Century (Hürrem) and I can't help but compare Süleyman and Ahmet. No wonder Süleyman is called "Süleyman the Magnificent" He was a far better emperor than Ahmet. He was the strongest.
Suleyman was at least 10 years older than Ahmed. When Suleyman was enthroned he has his own team, a plan for his reign and expirience in management. Ahmed was a teenager when he ascended, he even wasnt circumcised
This is a very unfair comparison. When Suleiman took the throne he was 30 years old with experience in governance and war and had the backing of a powerful mother who was also a Crimean princess and also Ibrahim who was a brilliant and loyal states and he also had Piri Pasha who lent him a great amount of knowledge. And Ahmed? Ahmed was 13 and never even got the chance to rule a Sanjak with a weak mother and very few people to him and wasn't even circumcised and when he inherited the throne it was well on its way to decline while Suleiman inherited a stable empire with no brothers to contend with. So tell me who had the better chance to become "magnificent"?
@@asaasura6901i advice you read more about Handan before u call her weak. Süleymans mother was Albanian not a princes. The comparison is wrong and it can't be compared. Different people and era. Süleyman has an experienced court. Hafsa doesn't have a mother in law like Handan did. You think it was easy to fight against Safiye who was a ruler in the shadows. Managing everything. At last Handan managed to exile Safiye but she also died young. She was first female regent of the empire
@mekmak2580 And I advice you understand the context I was speaking in before attacking me because i was talking about THE SHOW NOT REAL LIFE so don't talk to me like that
The palace already had a history of so many deaths, be it messengers, servants, concubines, etc. then Valdie, Ibrahim, Hurrem, Sueliman......and the death just keeps coming through the dynasty..wonder the place isn't haunted lol
of course he's known as the most powerful sultan in ottoman history, but ahmed is less blinded and less cruel than suleiman ever was. Kinder than suleiman, but not weaker. It's his childish side that still kept him strong. The most humane sultan ever, sultan ahmed. He dared to oppose the shitty rules of ottoman empire. He died at a very young age. Had to live in fear of his younger brother whom he loved more than anybody in the world.
For those of you that are saying Suleiman was cruel you have to remember that suleiman ruled longer. Sultan Ahmed’s eldest was 14 when they ascended the throne so Ahmet would have no reason to kill him. Also you need to remember that Suleiman was the Sultan before a father and if he thought Mustafa was rebelling and Bayezid did rebel then you have to remove them no matter how sad you are. Also no one would expect a rebellious sultan so Bayezid wouldn’t even be the right choice. And Ahmet was also kind of evil because we forget how young he is supposed to be he is 14 right now and he looks 18. He also Locked up his brother which is worse than execution, why??? Because you lose your mind he also did a lot of weird sh!t like marry his young daughters of and then killing their husbands cuz he had no supporters. I could go on and on but you need to be cruel to be a sultan, and to be fair Sultan selim was way more cruel and absurd than his son.
Maybe because he is the grandchild of of grandchild of selim. Not mustafa. You know that selim the sulaiman's son is not brave as brave mustafa. (Maybe)
Of course Süleiman was more powerful than Ahmed. Ahmed was a kid when he became Sultan and never got the chance to practice being a governor since he was never sent to a sanjak. He’s doing this on his own with barely any support.
The biggest difference between kosem and hurrem that made me love kosem and hate hurrem is their intentions from starting... When hurrem came to palace, yes she was abducted and treated very badly but this doesn't make difference because most of the concubines have same history but what hurrem did was treating badly everyone who came to her way and on the very first day when nigar told her that she can be sultana if she give birth to king's baby she started doing her job. She called Suleiman by his name in corridor to catch attention then danced seductively in front of him leaving all the self-respect behind and bed with him on the first chance she got.. was it love? No way. She was just power hungry. Then she started manipulating suleman... She even told her best friend maria on first day, "not only harem i will rule the world, and you will be my daye hatun". Now take a look on anatasia.. Her priority is her pride. She never tried to seduce ahmad even when she was told that she is specially brought for him.. she even had the courage to say her true intentions on the face to Ahmad.. she doesn't let Ahmad touch her untit she fall in love with him.. she respected every sultana in palace and didn't fight unnecessarily until she was forced to.. She didn't wanted power and proved it later by considering her step son Osman as her own son... unlike hurrem who killed Mustafa for power...

The true history is that Sultan Ahmet had Safiye Sultana sent to the Old Palace as soon as he took the throne. So none of this drama with her ever really happened. The story about Anastasia is pure drama. She was taken to the slave market just like most of the other concubines that went to the harem.

@@mozhdehmoazedian4727 so it's Suleiman's fault too if he didn't love mahidevran still he should have taken care of Mustafa he is his blood in Ahmed's case Mustafa was not son just brother (infarct half brother) he still loved him dearly like a son but Suleiman literally ignored poor Mustafa
@@lyebayasmin8469 yea I think Sulaiman was kinda scared and jelease of Mustafa! That is a wired feeling! I get your point 😞 but some men are like that if they hate a woman they hate the kids they have with them too. I have seen it in my life that I say it
@@mozhdehmoazedian4727 pathetic people they are
Suleiman was so jealous and scared of mustafa popularity with the army and people. He was seeing as a threat as mustafa could have gotten rid of suleiman so easily. Suleiman was even giving nightmares about that. He is a fool who killed a great future ruler with heart and dignity.
Mustafa is so cute and adorable 😘😘😘😘
Safiye Sultan is such an interesting and powerful character. An absolute boss 🤚 love her
I hate herrrr
But she looks beautiful so I love her
Owyorm ai
She? That's not a woman. That's a transgender man, who had some terrible plastic surgery.
For some nutty reason I like Safiye too.
is this safiya sultan same one that was introduced in the last episode of hurrem series?she was bought by mihirmah ??
yes
Yep she was sweet in that time😅but now..
I like it when Nasia and Ahmed together there sweet 😍😍
Bülbül agha and hacı agha are like the sümbül agha and gül agha of this series
Noticed this thing. Only the woman who calls sultan by his name and does not give any respect to him or care about it goes to halvet, and becomes the future queen. Many examples. Hurrem, Nurbanu, now this Anastasia who will be future Kosem i guess.
reyhan is like evil sumbul 😂
This was a fine example of how power makes humans pathetic 😪
It’s now episode 3, but most of the viewers or commenters ,like me , can’t still get away from Suleymam and Hurrem…..
O
Sultan Osman Khan's only mistake was taking his Lala as advisor instead of Zulfikar Pasha...
Very tŕùe
Im so addicted to this series it’s sooo good
Zulfiqar agha is so loyal right from the start
Well it is a very interesting because Anastasia was able to soften him up
I only trust Golga and Dervish in these early episodes.. Hopefully they're not one of those evil villains
Derwish was the one who killed Ahmed’s father. U only could trust Golga here.
Golge*😊

@@masrinarazel919 Only in this series. Not in real life.
Oh no this is addictive...
E vero si
There’s no comic relief in this one. It’s intense drama every minute.
Well they mothered one of the worst sultans to the ottoman dynasty 🙂 with and without their existence in the live of their sons as valida sultana
It is very nice the way ahmed was treating Nasia
I am in love with magnificent century series and now this, I'm searching for characters that we. re there in magnificent century❤ hurrem- sumbul bond, hurrem - nigar bond , sultan - hurrem bond was something else ❤
Safiye is so psychologically abusive 🙄 basically holding her grandson's wellbeing with his janissaries hostage using their payment
Hulya is so beautiful and she perfectly fits the role l just like her role in Masumiyet (Innocence). Both series are very well played.
I agree a lot of people don't like her and I think she's amazing
Am watching it again, the chemestry between Ahmed ans Nasia is incredible. Unfortunately Could'nt feel the same between Beren and Ekin. Pity that Nasia left the series.
I feel the same way, not just the actress changed their love kinda changed, especially when she had his first born
Do you know why the original actress left?
With Beren there isn't kisses 😭😭
@@aenhutv4877 the rating wasn’t impressive so they need to replace the young Anastasia
@@dolchepecatto17 even though there is no much kissing scene i still feel their love to each other...the way they look each other comfort each other hug each other and most is the way ahmed kiss her on forehead thats the sweetest not only by lips....
Poor Ahmed. People don't have loyalty.
Safiye is SUCH a boss!
wasn't she an Albanian but Mihrimah told her to say that she's from Venedic?
@@jeta1142 Yes she was
I stan safiye
@@jeta1142Yeah she was a poor girl from Albania
Does anyone have other series recommendations like this one? Love the series so far!
Suleiman
@mekmak2580 And I advice you understand the context I was speaking in before attacking me because i was talking about THE SHOW NOT REAL LIFE so don't talk to me like that
@@asaasura6901 i wasn't attacking u but now that u showing your teeth u better keep your mouth shut
The palace already had a history of so many deaths, be it messengers, servants, concubines, etc. then Valdie, Ibrahim, Hurrem, Sueliman......and the death just keeps coming through the dynasty..wonder the place isn't haunted lol
I’m just amaze the beauty of HANDAN SULTAN such an Angelic face.
Sultan ahmed was easy to be manipulated...he always change his decision and 50-50😅
Oof yaa I want to hug Sehzade Mustafa so badly💔
I found this series through my World Religions class...so great
Sultan sulieman is way more powerful than sultan Ahmed!
I SAID WHAT I SAID!
And way more cruel
of course he's known as the most powerful sultan in ottoman history, but ahmed is less blinded and less cruel than suleiman ever was.
I love this series
Everyone stabbing each other's back😂
The biggest difference between kosem and hurrem that made me love kosem and hate hurrem is their intentions from starting...
There’s no happiness in this series like in previous one there was so much fun and colors this one is so sad and depressing
Uau!! Descobri essa série por acaso, e estou gostando bastante de conhecer um pouco dessas histórias! A sede pelo poder sempre traz à tona o que as pessoas têm de pior! Curiosa pra saber mais sobre os costumes e tramas que imperavam nessa época.
Lol. If I was Sultan Ahmed, I would have exiled Safiye Sultana AND taken her fortune away, to pay the Janissaries 😅.
Poor boy was really to young and inexperienced for the job!
Her treasury was in secret place. And she can make troubles with her influence and money
Well in real life, he did exile her to the old palace. She shouldn't have been in any more episodes.
Anastasia is so high spirited
Similar to original Anastasia/Alexandria/Hurrem. said to be vivacious and dainty. History repeating itself.
Anastasia looks like repunzel to me
Iskender is so handsome 😊
The cutest thing was when Iskender wore Anastasia's ribbon on his wrist, right? 😍
So Safiye doesn’t get exiled, take all the credit for saving the day and will also get her money back? 😳
Dervish Pasha did well really afterwards
It wasn't her money. She tricked Ahmet. She used the Egyptian money that her men highjacked for her.
The palace, clothes, everything its far more luxurious then the Suleiman movie...was it true at that time?
Great to see Golga Hatun using sign language! ❤️
Ahmed in very critical situation
I got so much satisfaction when Darwish finally executes Reyhan, later on in the series.
Golge dont talk! I didn't realize earlier
how many episodes are? 60by2 hours each?
I wont complain anything about this its historical and nerve winkingly good Better than all the dramas I have in my country the CG is superb
The true history is that Sultan Ahmet had Safiye Sultana sent to the Old Palace as soon as he took the throne. So none of this drama with her ever really happened. The story about Anastasia is pure drama. She was taken to the slave market just like most of the other concubines that went to the harem.
They make a beutiful couple, Anastacia and AHMED!
Here b4 a million views
it was mirimah who hand picked safiye for mehmet. look how powerful she became. does safiye even look back and be greatful
What? Do you know in which Episode of magnificent century 1?
It was probably one of the last episodes 138-139 we meet her then for the first time
Am i the only one who recognizes Kate Sharma( Simone Ashley) of bridgerton in 45:14 here ??!!
That's not her. The woman is called Sasha Perera.
Yo hablo español, vine a ver la serie en ingles, porque en la traduccion a mi idioma cortan demasiado cada capitulo.

2:03:33 👑 Safiya Sultana really lived like a Queen 💃💄💅💍💎and was always, beautifully/magically dressed like a fairy tale 👸bride‼️❕❗
Named my daughter Anastasia, it does indeed mean reincarnation 😬✨✨✨✨✨
Yes as with name Stacey a derivative - she will rise again...stable.
Safiye sultana is wearing different dresses than Hurrem and other sultanas. Is it because the fashion changed there or because she prefered european style, where she comes from?
She admired Queen Elizabeth. Maybe it is from her
I think they had to make her dresses different. She is built like a man. Big shoulders, no waist line, tall, and much plastic surgery on her face.
02:06:35 I have never loved Dervish more, even though I have finished Season 1 and all. Ngl, I have a kinda crush on him, which is stupid.
Watching parts that upsets me in ×2 speed
Dervish and one of the villains(one with beard) i suppose are very handsome
Kosem is nowhere near the earlier magnificent century with suleyman and hurrem.
