The two biggest takeaways that I’ve taken from your channel that have made me so much stronger is range of motion and not rushing through reps, slow and controlled. That changed everything for me

This is exactly what I do to make improvements to myself, then I move into my body and figure out movements to lean into what fills impinged, which in turns strengthens everything and then i can operate optimally. Haha the ways I move my body to lean in be gettin people in a unnecessary tizzy, ain't my problem they don't understand and care enough about themselves, what they do and how they do to ask, try, respect & understand. That's another reason why I appreciate all of this knowledge so much , you guys seem to grasp someone's passion for their fitness and respect of it. I've been dealing with some ignorant trainers who ain't serious about it so that's whats with the ranting. When you are surrounded with that you appreciate when you have the opportunity to hear from those that have the intellectual on the topic.

Hi Mr. Mike O’Hearn, I think you are legendary bodybuilder! I found out about you when I bought the Arnold Encyclopedia and saw a picture of you for oblique ab exercises. I’m very glad to have stumbled upon your channel and learn about your vintage training methods. I’m from NYC and 20 years and have been working out for a year! I was wondering if you have any advice or videos on building the forearms. Thank you so you are a true inspiration!! :)

I love straight bar ! Don’t worry about hurting too much kids . It will go away when you start working out . If it’s horrible pain then you should heal but most soreness and joint issues should go away after a few weeks .

One of the many great lessons that has really helped me make big jumps/strides besides of course fine tuning my nutrition/diet plan these first 6 months has been with incorporating heavy singles into the warm up, I can control heavier weight so much easier because of this. Everyone is always like what are doing heavy weight to warm up? Your gonna get injured...6 months in I’m not injured and catching up on my way to surpassing those naysayers lol

Hey Mr Mike o hearn. My name's Logan . I'm a 25 year old male . I'm not going to go into what you do or don't do like some people with drug speculation . Regardless of what you choose to do in private life I think you're a fantastic guy great looking man . And awesome genetics. Ive been through a lot of injuries . I have 9 currently . And obviously with a mental disability. But I've found the motivation to help myself and get off medications . For pain and my disability. Physical therapy for pain and medical marijuana to eventually replace the lab drugs . The reason I'm telling you this is I wanted to thank you from the all years I watched you . And was wondering how I could possibly meet you one day ? If possible how I could do that . Thank you sir and hope you and your family stay safe . My dad's got covid and isn't doing the best .God bless

Thanks, Mike. This is a BIG tip! I've been doing the power barbell curls that your recommended and it's been helping me curl way more the past couple of months, esp letting the elbows move slightly/freely with the bar allowing it to go full range of motion, has been improving my elbow joint significantly!
Random question - when you do accessory exercises, do you work up to a top set? or do you work in sets around an 8-12 range?

Instead of finding out what works for them they want Science to show them what’s best for everyone. When science is B.S Because everyone is different.

Just used the info in this very video 10 minutes ago. I Normally use ez curl bar with bar/50lb for 15 and sets of 4. After using the straight bar ( half the weight as normal same set #) my right elbow is hurting. However, I have 2 metal pins in the elbow from a motorcycle crash . So maybe that has something to do with it. Going back to ez bar. I think the angle is causing some metal and bone to rub on each other idk.
