Test Driving a Mercedes s55 AMG v8 supercharged 500 HP w220 on the No Speed Limit Autobahn
s55 AMG v8 Kompressor 0-100 kmh (0-60 mph) Acceleration
I believe that the s55 had more in it but I gave up due to the high traffic.
The car has some problems with the gearbox that's why I didn't let the car downshift to aggressively while testing the top speed or the 100-200 kmh acceleration.

My s400 has 496068 on the clock. Yesterday I drove 150mph and he was still accelerating. Thought its enough. Love this car
Wow, close to 300k on the clock! My 05 s55 has 56k miles and its a monster of a car. Love everything about it.
And is still in a pretty good condition. I can't imagine the condition of yours at 56k 😊 Any problems with yours after 16 years?
@@SlowFord Small things here and there but keeping up on preventative maintenance is the key. No major problems thus far. Then again I keep the monster locked up in the garage.

Any problems with the ABC?
@@SlowFord no I don't drive it too often as it's not my daily driver. ABC thus far has been reliable. Again, preventative maintenance and dont use cheap parts.
I flush the system twice a year and replaced all accumulators and pulse damper. Keeping clean fluid is key in the ABC system.

I mean…these sort of cars have a soul !!! What a beast engine 5.5L v8 atmospheric.This is some shit that will never happen again. Due to ecology problem etc. What do we see nowadays ? Biturbo everywhere…small L. Some put 400hp into a 2.0L engine…what a joke…But these cars will never be forgotten…true art of engineers…
That is true. I look at my 4 Cilinder Focus RS and think that it would be nice to have a v6 engine 🙂
Sorry to inform you brother, that this car actually has a 5.5L supercharged engine in it. Only the pre-facelift cars were naturally aspirated with roundabout 360 hp instead of the 500 hp of this car
But the saddest part if u believe that there is actualy some kind of "climate change" going on, thats the biggest bs so far for human kind... Ecology problem he said, what a bumbshit 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

@@SlowFord yes! Those are gems. You can buy them so cheap now it's a steal. I've seen them for $10-12k with only 70k miles. Someone on YT actually was trying to sell me theirs with the upgrades to make over 600whp but it had 150k miles 😆 those are solid engines though so higher mileage doesn't scare me too much. I wanna buy one eventually. Wonderful cars. The SL65 would be epic too. Although way out of my price range 😓😫

@@SlowFord Vtech Georgia is the tuner With the mods, hoping right around the 410 range. Up from 360 stock. Haven’t had it on a Dyno since before catless, intake and tune.

Took a 20year old XJ12 up to 240k on the A6 back in the 90's. I swear I could see the fuel gauge fall. The scary part was finding a fellow American GI snoozing in the left lane. I may be from the states, but I grew up on the autobahns. I miss those days. Nice ride, thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Great driving! Is this Mercedes nearly driven 300k KM? And it still going pretty quick! What’s do you think about this W220? Even I do make POVs but just a beginner but you should show some features in the beginning if you would like to do! :)
Thank you. Yes it is almost at 300k and still driving like a dream. Except for a few problems that needs to be sorted out. If this video will get enough attention, I will be inclouding a more detailed walk around.

oricum nu ii puteam da ca sarea din viteza daca calcam prea tare acceleratia. Acum am facut cutia, ii pot da kickdown si schimba cum trebuie.
