I hope Richard Harris is haunting an Irish pub, now. RIP to a fantastic actor!
😊
Only a mad Irish man could challenge a ghost to live with him...classic Harris..
actually that's a recommended procedure--just address it directly and tell it what you want, "I don't want to see you and i don't want to hear you." etc.
@@zyxmyk hard to address something that doesn't exist....
He would be proud of his son, one of the finest living actor. The Terror and Chernobyl are masterpieces and Jared was phenomenal in both. Jared always talked lovingly about his father in any interviews.
😯 I didn't know he was "that" Harris
I totally agree Jared is an incredible actor.. So believable and draws you in.. I loved him in Benjamin Button too.. And Mad Men.. Just finished watching him in The Terror.. The series and acting were fantastic and so was he.. And he s always engaging when interviewed too 👌
it's amazing how similar they sound.
I actually dated a ghost years ago. About six months into the relationship she came to me and said she was expecting. I was naturally overjoyed at the thought of becoming a father for the first time. Sadly, it turned out to be a phantom pregnancy.
were you hoping for a boy or a ghoul?

“Boil”
A wonderful actor with a son who is just as spectacular. What a pedigree.
You mean Rolf Harris
@@joshgoodman9882 british dude from mad men? love that guy
Hell yeah Lane Pryce. Check him out in The Terror and most recently Chernobyl. Also The Crown!
Did he not like children
Well, aren't we generous
I like how he's trying to tell his story but also not frighten the poor old woman into an early grave.
Yes, I agree that he's very considerate of the woman who is clearly a little spooked by the whole thing. Richard Harris, despite his fun loving, drinking , chatty side, was really a sweet, charming and kind person. His parents did a great job! He's my all time favorite!!! Loved him the second I saw him when I was only 5 years old. He has that effect on us females. 💖💞💕🇮🇪☘🙃🎵🎶
Richard Harris is absolutely wonderful.
What's on his face?
"There are people bustin' to see ghosts..."
Mr Cavett is ahead of his time!
haha you're right!
Harris was a great story teller!!!!!
Grand old Irish storytelling.
The expression in the face of the elder Lady 😂😂😂😂😂
RH is an absolute Gentleman: the way he keeps the Matador included in the circle...Impressive.
That old lady is loving Richard.
That’s Sybil Thorndike
She totally is!! Richard knew how to be a gentleman. Good upbringing. 💚🇮🇪🙃
He’s talking about “Tower House”. Jimmy Page bought that from him and still lives there.
Now they're both living rent free.
He won't be haunting anywhere without a working bar
@Diana Mitford, perhaps you should keep an open mind? There are, after all, cases which defy "rational explanation". Perhaps there is more to this existence than you might think?
@@willscomix Right and why should he? He's welcome to live and haunt rent-free in our home. We have Guinness, gin and vodka. I'm half Irish and would welcome him. 💖💞💕🇮🇪☘🙃
From now on I’m gonna refer to being dead as when I’m living rent free
He said the ghost was of a mischievous little boy. In fact, years later, when he moved, he said the moved because he was tired of dealing with it. I would have put some toys in the haunted room and see if that quieted it down.

I loved his version of “ Mac Arthur Park “, and the film, “ Lion in the Winter”, then, he had this amazing part in a British film “ juggernaut “ ~ he plays a bomb ~ expert ( diffuser ) Also in a cameo appearance, a young Anthony Hopkins. .. ( 1970’s )
Peter O'Toole was in The Lion In Winter not Richard Harris. I'm not being a smart aleck just making accurate comment. 🙃😉💖🇮🇪

moral of the story: ghosts are one thing, hauntings are another
Who do you Call? Ghostbusters! 😂
Spring was NEVER waiting for us.
Great song 🎵....I loved his version of my boy...
Imagine an actor today telling this 'true' ghost story......different times!
that story just freaked me out because I've experienced paranormal things in my life a couple of times.....and also just had a dream this morning about a ghost in my room.
The dream sounds like sleep paralysis, it's pretty common, I've had it twice, it's not as scary once you realise it's acmedical episode and not reality
@@Zombehnation1001 What's reality?
the only spirits i ever had in my house was the drinking kind
Wait...
3:42 "there's people busting to see ghosts"? ahem...
Steve Conwell when I bust I can see the white outlines of a ghost on the floor.
Rémy Macca 😂
There WILL BE in about 13 years...😊
Would like to see Josh Rich on the show !
Ghost are truly true invisible in your house if feeling bad things is not your mind talking into your mind you understand that now what never understand things like that
I heard Richard once talk about a duty free shop at Shannon
Richard must be joking, he obviously would’ve fought any ghost that was squatting.
Jimmy Page lives in Tower House now
huh! I wonder if Tim Burtn was aware of this, when he decided to use Richard Harris' McArthur Park in Beetlejuice 2? amazing if coincidence, but I bet he did know it
He has mannerisms that remind me of Conor McGregor.
Similar Irish charm.
Conor McGregor is an absolute a-hole. If that's Irish charm, then I'm boycotting Lucky Charms for the rest of my life.
is this channel ever going to show the Dick Cavett shows where he interviews Jackie Gleason or Art Carney? How about any Honeymooners actors that were a part of the main cast?
How about any Honeymooners actors that were part of the main cast? These are rarities much like the other videos around here.
Who is the other guest? She looks so familiar.
Dame Sybil Thorndike.
@@NxDoyle You are very kind.
I experienced ghosts at a restaurant in Anaheim California
They are very real. 👻
When Richard went out for a drink with Ollie
Thief and a Ghost 😂
Richard Harris looks like a cross between Chris O'Dowd and Phil Collins.
That is, Chris O'Dowd and Phil Collins look like a cross between Richard Harris. Being that Richard Harris is their senior.
old people are especially afraid of ghosts... because they don't want to become them.
Great interview. Who is the woman?
Sybil Thorndike
@@JagoffCitizenThanks!
the year after this interview he sold the house to Jimmy Page
That would be Aleister Crowley’s house? It’s odd he didn’t mention it.
@@buddyrichable1
It’s not the Alistair Crowley house. This is the gothic “Tower House” in London.
Dumbledor was crazy when he was young
Lol , thanks for noticing
Until you've had it happen, it's all truly laughable. More than we've dreamt of, etc.
Missing R.H. Aye, before we knew how insidious alcoholism was and how high the cost. 💔
Coughy crowd
Must have been drinking Harris
Howard Harry Potter ghost is mad Irishman
And the ghost's name is..... Jack Daniels.

Here's a question for everyone. Never any concrete evidence of these type of these supposedly conspicuous loud Ghost!
Wherein lies your question? Richard Harris is the greatest guy ever! 💕🇮🇪☘
They dident call him dick for nothing 😅 ya get more craic from the ghost
Very likely it was a "poor soul" in purgatory, who needed some masses said for him. Pity that it was misinterpreted.
Williams is gonna lose against Crowley page money
why is Harris all busted up?
There's more to this interview. He did get into a bar fight the previous evening.
Apparently the bar fight was over a woman.
@Hitler was Vegan imagine what you want to do to someone called Hitler and just happens to be vegan as well😉
Lol probably was being a smart-ass with Rod Taylor in the movie Deadly Trackers Rod Taylor is a legit tough guy former amateur boxing champion Australia

That movie he didn’t have a beard so that’s literally impossible
Its Tower House - satanism.
